Backstory..

Maxwell was living a pretty good life besides the fact that he parents would only interact with him a few days of the week because of work, but his life became much worse when he turned six.. His parents started to  get into fights more and more often, and next thing he knew. He was living in a small apartment without his mother. As he grew older, he found it harder and harder to make friends. The fact that his father was constantly moving him from school to school as he searched for job didn't help his social confidence. He did make some friends though.  His newfound friends introduced him to video games when he was 11, and instantly, he was hooked to his screen. His life kept changing, while his grade were kept up to par to make sure that his father wouldn't take his video games away from him.  When the testing for the Nerve Gear were announced, he was hell bent on trying it before everyone else. He wanted to get away from his life, become someone different, and the one thing that had stuck through with him for a period of time was going to help him in his eyes. And his life was turned upside down when he had learned that the game was a death trap. The thing that'd had stuck with him longer than anything else, had now turned on him. And the fact that the game was extremely realistic didn't help in any way whatsoever. He thought that he'd be able to run away from reality by going into a video game. Become someone different, ignore the bad things about his life, make a new one with the one thing that could, but now the thing he thought would help him, is trying to kill him.

History and Personality

Virtues:

Understanding.

Maximum is very understanding of others. He finds it easy to put himself in another's shoes.This can be extremely helpful in helping others get back on their feet after a loss or something of the sort. And when given a complex topic, it rarely can confuse him on the main ideas and certain points in the topic. He rarely asks,"Jokey joke."

Unwillingly Kind.

Maximum had been gifted with a sweet and kind outer shell. He can't help but look on the brighter sides of things. But at times he sees this as a curse, because he can never will himself to speak his mind. Though this helps make a good first impression.

Quick Decision Maker.

Max is good known for being quick, weather or it's physical or mental. His life moving at slow a slow speed in his view. And he if/when he gets out of the game, he probably won't think it would've been as long as it was. Or when a large, and consequential decision is placed on his shoulders, he won't choke at the most crucial moment. Also, whenever he makes a decision, he always answers quickly and bluntly. So that he won't sound like he's trying to prove himself.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

Flaws:

Chaotic

Maxwell has a darkened inside. His view on his own life is quite dark, as he thinks of himself as trash. If you are rude, have hate towards him, and/or are threatening to him, a side of him that is wicked (you might think), will come out. He'd speak of twisted thoughts to you, and his expression may be enough to send you running.

Perfectionist 

This can also be seen as OCD to others. He wants everything to be clean, neat, or in some order. Say if he were to come to your house, and there was a pile of unfolded clothes on your couch, he'd (Incognet of what he was doing) sit down and start to fold them. He always makes his bed in the morning, never double dips, and can't stand litter.

Unpredictable

Max, can be a complete lunatic. There can be random times where he'll just hit you, just to blow off steam. He's not really one to be apologetic, but there are times where he might just be. OR there could be a day where nothing can bring him down, when the previous week had him constantly an emotional wreck.
