[F11-SP]The chapel looks nice ...

Recommended Posts

Macradon went to the 11th floor to take a closer look at the chapel that he wandered on the last time. "What are they thinking ..." he thought. He remembered the last time he went there. He would not knock on the gate this time, he would kick it open and as the doors went open with a rush, Macradon roared into the chapel. "I HAVE COME TO TAKE THE SACRIFICE!" and ran into the chapel. Everything was silent and dark, suddenly the doors slam down shut behind him. "What is happening ..." he thought. In comes 4 of the monks towards him, they were all wielding what looked like flails, or just some censers on sticks. Macradon would not hesitate to attack. He would use his <Concentrate> skill and his charge skill to engage. He flew forward with his sword and swung it around 6 times in quick succession.

One of the leaders of the chapel came running forward having a blunt mace in his hands. He was not a trained fighter so he held the mace with both hands to have more control. "Die heretic!" the leader cried and attacked Macradon with the over sized mace, at least compared to the leader. Macradon would do a quick sidestep to get out of the way of the attack and get in position. "You cell me a heretic, you heathen?!" Macradon responded and used the <Charge> skill to close the big gap that was made between them. Macradon flew forward in a high pace and ended up in front of the leader. He sent out his <Astral hell> to take care of the cult leader, killing him.

"It doesn't seem like they are players, maybe NPC's or mobs" he thought. It was probably an event that was triggered to make these NPC's hostile, but how was that possible in a safe zone? Macradon went for the gate door to get out and collect more information. He was unable to open it, he tried but it didn't work. He would look for windows to look out off but the only thing he could find were the tainted mosaic windows, which were hard to look out off because of the tinted glass.

He would look around, this didn't look like a normal chapel at all. The rows of chairs weren't pointing towards the altar nor did the alter exist in the room. Macradon was curious to what this building actually was. He looked in every nook and cranny if he could find anything useful but neigh. There wasn't anything in here to help him escape or find out what had happened. He spotted and old wooden door not far away from where he stood. Did he dare to go to the door and even open it?

Macradon would look at his energy gauge, it wasn't high enough for him to seriously engage in combat. He would take a few stops closer only to stop again a few meters from the door. He would look around on the ground and loot for anything to throw at the door. He found a book, didn't seem like a bible so it should be fine to just throw it. He would grab it and the hurl it at the door. "Who's there!" a voice said from behind the door. "Have you killed the heretic yet?" it said.

Macradon would see that his energy had fully recovered, he would grin. He would take a few more steps back, getting ready to fight. "Oh, you mean your brothers and the priest?" he said with a taunting tone. The door burst open and 4 shocked cultists came out of the door. They looked around and couldn't find their friends and the priest. "Didn't I tell you to take care, the Crusader has come to take his sacrifice. I think I'll take this chapel and burn it down for my amusement!" he said. The 4 cultists looked shocked at Macradon with fear. Macradon would use his <Disguise> skill, making him look like one of the cultists. The cultist look confused that the one who just killed your friends was looking like you, like he was a mirror image. Macradon closed the gap between him and the cultists with his <Charge> skill. When he appeared before the cultists he changed back into himself again.

He killed the cultists but only to make a cult leader spawn. "Ugh ... another" he thought as he sighed. "Heretical "crusader"! You even dare to show yourself to the Stone!" the leader said. This one looked more built for war, holy war or what not. The leader was wielding a big club, he just took the Jesus cross down and would use that as a weapon. Macradon would run over and do a strike from the upper right. The leader just bashed Macradon's sword to the side with his big cross and would do a back swing hitting Macradon in the head.

Macradon would quickly recover and with his Heavy momentum from his armor he was capable of killing the cult leader with and easy attack. Well it wasn't easy, it was his strongest sword art he had laying around. He would burst the leader down with 7 strong attacks that made critical hits and with his heavy momentum his damage blew up, killing the cult leader like it wasn't anything.  Macradon would take a break. Or maybe not. He would sheath his sword again after he had collected the loot. This chapel had something in common with the number 4 since every 4 cultists slain a cult leader appears. He would think hard about it.

The door. He still haven't looked into the door, the only thing he knew about it was that some stupid cultists busted out of it like it was ... nevermind. Macradon would go over to it and look into it. What mysterious wonders could be locked behind that door? Macradon would slowly creep to the door and slowly opening it. He would keep his hood up, concealing his snow white hair from whatever could've been hiding inside there. He would open the door and look into the room behind.

He opened the door and looked inside. It was all dark. And empty room where the only thing that was was a spiral stair case. "Should I, or shouldn't I?" he thought looking at the spiral stair case. He was unsure if it was a good idea to take the star case up or just wait down here for an exit. "I can always get down again ..." he thought and began entering the room. He would take a few steps up the stair case and get up. He would walk, it was quite a long stair case so the walk was longer than expected.

He wasn't getting tired from the long stair walk even though it was pretty long, but the excitement from what could lie ahead of him was driving him. He came closer and closer to the top of the stair case, he could feel and aura unlike anything he had felt before. "What could this be ..." he thought as he was getting to the top. He would take his sword out and prepare for the fight that would come, if it was hostile or not, everything in here was bound to try to kill him in one way or the other, be it a strong foe or a weak foe, they would go at him anyways.

On top of the stair case were not something magnificent as he though he would've seen. Just 4 regular cultist in formation waiting for Macradon to approach. "There's the heretic, kill him" a voice said behind the cultist. A blinding light emit from a being behind the cultists. "That must be where the aura is from" Macradon thought. The 4 cultists charged Macradon but Macradon would attack as well, using his concentration to get by the light, he would perform the <Fight Blade> sword art combined with his <Charge> and <Concentrate> skill, killing the cultists before they got the chance to attack Macradon.

Macradon had slain the 4 cultists, awaiting the leader to spawn, but it was already there. "Heretic, feel my wrath" it said. Macradon would analyze the demon that stood before him. Iron clad with its full plate armor and demonic wings spreading from its back. Macradon would point his sword at it "You didn't think a crusader like me would appear, didn't you?" he said with a stern voice, trying to sound as holy as possible. The demon would take out its pole hammer forth. "I didn't even know pole hammers were a part of this game" Macradon thought as he looked at the weapon, he was too distracted by the weapon that he didn't realize that the demon was engaging in combat. With the pole's butt end the demon would push Macradon's sword aside, leaving him open for stabs with the pole. The demon would proceed to stab forward with the pole. Macradon's fast reaction would make him capable of pushing the pole aside with his sword, though the momentum he created by the push gave the hammer end a more powerful hit. Macradon was struck with an enormous force, striking him on the shoulder and pushing him backwards. Macradon would gather his strength and rush forward with his charge, closing that gap the demon had created by pushing Macradon back. "Receive divine retribution!" Macradon roared as he began his sword art <Astral Hell> on the demon.

Macradon would sigh in disappointment. This battle wasn't as fierce as he would've thought. Just one sword art to take it down ... what a bummer. Macradon would sigh, pick up the loot and venture through he hallway he had ended up in. He would take a look, hopefully seeing something that would lead to an exit. Macradon would stop up and think about it. "Most RPGs have these long level where you just have to go through them to get to an exit ... this is probably the same idea" he thought.

The hallway he had ended up in was extremely long. Longer than he would've thought it would be. It was just one long hallway, nothing strange in particular. No strange or occult things standing in the way or decorated on the walls. Nor were there any windows, only a few torches lighting the room up. Macradon would continue his crusade through the old chapel, getting close to the exit, he could just feel it. Even though he walked for minutes, the hallway's end still seemed like it was keeping its distance to Macradon.

He would look at the walls, pull the torches, to see if there were any hidden keys or levers that would do anything but it didn't seem like so. Instead of finding anything useful he just seemed like an idiot stuck in a long hallway. He would think of an idea. He'd been walking all this time, what if he would begin to run. He would get set and was ready. He would imagine a running court, him standing there with many other contestants. He would sprint forward as the gun was shot in the air. He would sprint as fast as he could, getting closer to the door than before. It was just a long hallway after all.

Mid way, or so it seemed from his starting sprinting position, he was stopped by 4 cultists that had waited in an ambush against him. Macradon would stop running and aim his sword art the cultists, using his <Charge> skill to get to them. He would unleash his attack <Fight blade> to cleave them down and get them out of the way so he would be able to get to the exit. He would use his <Concentrate> and <Disguise> to make sure he did hit the cultist in his uncontrollable sprint. He would cleave them down in quick succession and continue his sprint, though he was stopped by a big cultist. It just seemed like they got bigger and bigger.

Macradon would just ignore the big man, it wouldn't be much of a fight so Macradon would just do his <Astral Hell> on the big cultist leader, quickly shredding him to bits with his big sword. Macradon would grab the loot he left and look at the exit. It was far away again. Macradon got frustrated, what was happening here, he just couldn't understand it. He would walk closer to the exit again, but it didn't seem like he got closer to the door like he did when he was running, that was when he figured it out.

The door was moving further and further away from Macradon which resulted in him needing to run for the door. Frustrating as it was, Macradon would take up the challenge and begin to sprint yet again. He would sheathe his sword and go for the quickest sprint he had ever done before. He was even faster than he could've imagined him being, it was like everything was some kind of weird dream. This whole chapel thing that had happened was just one big weird thing as well, so nothing would seem off if it was a dream as well.

His sprinting helped, he came closer and closer to what he thought would be the exit. He just kept on sprinting. Using his digital body for this and used his determination to get through this obstacle as a running door. Macradon ran, faster and faster. He would keep on increasing his speed with sheer willpower, going straight at the door that just kept on running away from Macradon. He would not accept it and just furiously go for the door. He was soon at the door, soon capable of grabbing onto the door knob.
