Zandra exited the warp gate at floor one. She had herd that the old mans cousine was living in the outer districts of the city. Zandra now was eager to get her whip to grandmaster. That would be her second grandmastering skill. She was on way to become realy strong actually. It didnt took long until she find a small building looking almost identical to the one she just left at thirteen. Hopefully this was the real place and not just another creepy test. She did hesitate. What if this also was fake. Would she be abe to handle beeing lied to again in such a short time? She looked down at the black stone that hang in a chain around her neck. At least she wouldnt snap like before.

She entered the small church. There, at the altar was another old man. Looking almost identical but with shorter beard and a red robe instead of priest clothes. She walked up to him. None of the knight statues moved as much as a finger.''Hi, is it you that can teach me to be grandmaster at the art of swinging a whip?'' she asked the man straight out. She had no time to lose.''Yes its me. But if you want me to teach you, you need to get me something from a mob on each floor up until floor ten. I send over a list on items you need to get to me.'' a few second later she got a mail. There was a list of ten items.''Im on it imeediatly.'' Zandra said and rushed out thru the doors.

The first item on the list was the tail of a boar on the floor she currently was one. She ran out on the fields that surronded town of beginning. It didnt took long for her to spot a boar. She ran up to it and with her weakest attack she slayed it with one hit. The boar exploded into crystals. She looked at the reward screen. There poped up she got rewarded with the boartail she needed.''Well that was easy.'' Zandra said and closed the reward screen. She didnt wanted to lose any time so she immediatly headed back to town, ready to take on the next item on the list.

Next was a flower from one of those little nepents. Thou one of the stronger ones. Thou at Zandras current level, it wouldnt be any problems with taking any of them on. She warped up one floor and ran out thru the gates and headed to the forest. After she had reached the forest it didnt took long until she met one off hte plant like creatures. This time she aimed netween the eyes of the mob. And for a few seconds, it got the stunned effect on it before it exploded into ocean of white and blue crystals. Zandra looked at the reward screen. A flower from the nepent was there. Zandra nooded and smiled to herself. This was floating on pretty smooth. Then she turned around and headed back to town.

Now it was a helm from an elven soldier. Zandra raised an eyebrow. What would he need an elven helmet for. Well, she shruged her shoulders. She was here to gather the items, not questioning why he needed it. She warped up to floor three and headed out on the prarie. This time it took some time before she ran over a lonely soldier walking all on his own.''Well hello there.'' Zandra said before swinging her whip in a huge circle, hitting the elf from below and sent him flying thru the air. Midair he exploded int crystals. The reward screen had an elven helmet on the list.

She closed the reward screen and headed back to town. Next to go for was her home floor so to say. Since she had spent more time there then the other together. So she knew exactly where on the snowy wonderland to find the ice-elementals that she needed and ice-cube from. She exited the warp gate in snowfrost town and wlaked out of the town towards her shop. On the road between the her shop and the town there was always at least one spawned elemental. And today wasnt an exception. Halfway she saw one of the half-transparent creature walking around. She ran forth, charged up her Cross punishment. Withinn raange she activated it and the whip swung two diagonal swings, making a red cross on the ice-elemental. Its health dropped to zero and then exploded into pixels. The reward screen rewarded her with an ice-cube.

She took a deep sigh when she exited her next destination. Back on the desert floor that she had started to hate so much. Well, there was nothing to do about it so she headed out in the endless fields of sand. Now she was supposed to find a scale belongning to a bettle. Zandra walked around in the hot desert,hoped she would find one of those giant beetles soon. Just when she thougth that thoth one of them spawned infront of her. She let her hate over this floor rain down at the poor mob, swinging her whip again and again and again until fivr red stripes could be seen on its body. That was enough to kill it. A few seconds later it exploded into and ocean of pixels. And on the reward screen there was a beetle-scale.

Zandra closed the reward screen and headed back to town. She wanted to get away from this sandy floor as soon as possible. Next floor was the jungle floor. This time she would get a... Gorilla head. Seriously? Very well, as she said before, she wasnt the one to question why the man was in need of these items. So she headed up to the sixth floor to the city filled with tall female warrior. Thou she ignored all of them and headed straigth for the jungel. It wasnt hard to see where the gorilla had been. And she havent followed the track for long until she got up to them.''Hello there!'' she shouted and charged up her cross judgement sword art, ready to take it out with one attack. And the religious cross apeeared on the monkey, reducing its health to zero. On the reward screen the skull was written.

Zandra closed this screen as well. She did have many things left now. Thou she started to get to the higher floors, where the mobs didnt was an guaranteed one hit kill. Thou there was no risk for her beeing killed since she was such a high level. Now time for the mountains. The item there was a griffon feather. She remebred that seven was the floor that Zita came from, and now she was gonna kill one of her relatives. So she warped up and headed out in the mountains. After some climbing she found one, she came from behind and it havent spotted her yet. With a silent frontflip she built up momentum in the whip and slammed it down at the ground. The griffon was to late to react and the red marking reduced its health to zero. It exploded and Zandra now had a feather as well.

Once again, Zandra closed her reward screen with a sigh. Next item to get was a, wait what? A branch? What kind of creature dropped branches. She decided to warp up to eight and see if she found any while exploring. She exited the teleportatio gate and went out on one of the rope bridges coneting the trees together. On one of the trees, there was a bigger platform. And guess what, on the platform was an ent. Thou much smaller then those from lord of the ring, but an ent it was. Zandra looked at her energy bar and saw this would be her last attack before resting. So she activated her consentration skill while walking up to the ent. When she was one meter from it, she opened her eyes and smiled. Followed by two quick backflips. The two vertical stripes killed the ent and gave Zandra a branch.

So, now she was almost out of energy. If she would be able to take on the two last mobs she needed to refill it before advancing. So she walked back to the town that was almost floating in the air. She had always wanted to build something like this back in the real world. Thou the trees was too small there to build stuffs like tavern or restaurants. Also you should need a huge lawn and alot of materials. Also she wasnt sure she was gonna be able to do it herself so she would have to hire carpenters to make the job for her. But that wouldnt be same compared to make something with your own hands.

She thougth when she was here, she could as well take a look how the buildings looked inside, if there was anything special with the interior. There was pretty cool that they have been made inside the trunks of the trees and not like treehouses back in the real world where you look for some trees it good position and have beams between them. Well thetas because if you make something in the tree it gonna die, and they are also too smal to be able to work as a room for anything except maybe a small baby. And then the baby would fill all space, no room for anything else.

She walked inside one of the taverns. Inside, everything, and then she meant everything, was made out of wood. The knifes must been made of some sharp hardened wood. There was not a single nail to be spotted. Of course that wasnt needed in games. Things can be programmed to float in the air without any support at all. But here it all looked like it was made in old fashion way, when you didnt had nails or when they was pretty expensive. Then she saw her energy was full again. She would like to stay and enjoy the tavern a bit more, but she had a whip to grandmaster.

Next item on the list was a fang from a hell hound. That shouldnt be too hard. She had killed several off them on the guardian of fire quest. Thou that was with Manta. But it would probably went by just fine now as well, since she had increased quite alot in level and gear. She warped up to the vulcanic environment and walked out thru one of the gates in the stone wall that surronded the town. She walked across the lndscape until she saw one the hounds that was her prey. She knew she no longer would be able to one hit the mobs, not even with her strongest attack. So instead she made the red cross on the hounds body, reducing it health by quite a bit. Then she jumped out of reach before it could counter-attack.

Zandra looked into the damaged hell hounds tiny red eyes. The two opponents circled around each other. Both of them waited for the other to make their move. To see what the other was gonna do was a great advantage. Thou after awhile Zandra was tired of waiting. She didnt cared if the hound would counter attack her. She released her Cross punishment, making an X-cross over the religious cross, making it look like he had a star on its body. The last health dropped down and the health bar turned empty.''Well thats that. Only one thing left and then Im done.''

Zandra opened the list of the things she was going to get for that old man. Her eyes looked at the last item that was the only one left. A bat-wing. She remebered that ten was kind of underground. She was happy she had her accuracy trinket together with her consentration skill. It would compensate for the night vision that she havent got yet. She warped up and exited the portal at ten. She left the town and started to explore one of the caves. As she walked deeper and deeper into the cave, she finaly saw a pair of eyes in the dark. Even since there was no light sources, Zandra could see the creature, just barely. She charged up the ground crusher and after a front flip, the whip had reduced a huge chunk of the bats health. When it counter attack, by some reason Zandra succeded to evade it.

Now the bat had less then a third of his health left. This would be a piece of cake. She charged up her lingering storm, prepared to let a flurry of swings rain down on the creature. The bat came flying towards her at full speed. Two meters from her she activated the sword art. Five swings quickly made five stripes on the bats body. It reduced its health to zero and exploded into an ocean of white and blue pixels that lighted up the whole cave for a moment. The reward screen poped up and now Zandra had the final piece she needed to become a Grandmaster of the Whip.

Zandra started to walk back from the windling tunnel system. When she walked down her only goal was to found a bat. She havent realy thinked about that she would have to go back as well. Thou she kept on going. She should find the way out sooner or later. And she was right. After about an hour she was finally back at the warp plaza. She entered the gate and teleported down to floor one. Soon she was gonna get her grandmastering. She had a huge smile on her lips when she walked towards the church-like building where the man she got this list from was waiting for her.

She pushed open the door and entered the building. With a proud face she walked up to the robed man.''Here, all the items you needed.'' she stretched out a bag filled with the items that the man wanted her to gather from all corners of the floors up to ten.''So, can you teach me to be a grandmaster now?'' then man looked up at her with a strange look.''There is no need for me to teach you to grandmaster the whip. These items is a proof that you do master the whip. You have gathered items from ten different mobs in just one day. Thou there is on single test for you. You think youre ready?''

Zandra couldnt believe it. So this was the proof that she was a grandmaster. Thou he said there was one final test.''Of course. I have neber been more ready then now.''the man nooded.''Here, this potion gives you a one time use of the strongest sword art a whip master can use. If you succeds to take down the crusader with it, then your a grandmaster.'' one moment later the statute behind the altar jumped down. It was the statue of a tall crusader, at least two meter. He had a huge longsword and a shield that covered the whole man except the head.

Zandra knew there was only one thing to do. She charged up the sword art. The power was increadible. So this was how an elite art felt. She looked at the crusader and smiled.''Hehe, trust me, this crusader have no chance against me.'' She rushed forth until she stood two meters infront of him. Then she activated the sword art. Her whip flew and spun around the knights neck. Then she pulled the handle, making the warrior fly thru the hall and crush down on the floor, still stuck with the whip. Zandra pulled it back and he flew back to his previous position, thou this time laying. Zandra looked at his health and saw it drop down to zero. She let out a laugh. She havent been this happy in a long time. She turned to the old man.''Congratulations. Now that you master the strongest power of the whip, you can call yourself, the first whip grandmaster of Aincrad.'' Zandra was so happy she gave the man kiss.''Thank you so much. Now I have to go tell Jomei.'' Then she ran out thru the doors to tell the news to her boyfriend.
