Phillia 0 Posted February 17, 2016 #1 Report Share Posted February 17, 2016 (edited) Boar hunting was very rewarding as well as tiresome, most of the lower levels aren't prepared for it due to the somewhat lethal damage that they'd deal to newbies without Mitigation. Luckily she had those gloves that Antofer gave her, and a powerful rapier as a trade from a short pink haired girl. 'Why do I feel like I've seen this before.' The sandwiches soon reduced to nothing and the boars moved on to sleep instead of eat. 'Lazy.' Phillia pulled out her rapier <<Astra>> and activated her skill <<Charge>>. Sadly, she missed the hit and the boars got the advantage of taking no damage. ID#48425 Battle 4 Fail! She landed with a thud and the boars did not hesitate to attack her, a wall of horns suddenly began to run at her with incredible pace, but only one managed to graze her left cheek. The rest of them fell to the ground as they missed, and Phillia was left nearly unscathed if it wasn't for the one boar to hit her. Her rapier glowed a wide array of color before she slashed at three of the boars with two hits. Their health bar significantly decreases, and all the boars are left weak. As the battlefield shifts, Phillia comes out on top. ID# 48480 results: Battle 9 Success! Artificial Intelligence and Human could never look more alike, even though Phillia was a person, she wasn't very civilized just like the boars, and there she began to wonder if people are really people? "Damnit! This is just like last time!" Phillia became frustrated, but not enough to stop fighting. She knew the materials were worth it and continued just for the rewards involved. The alarmingly slow pace of the fighting was nearly depressing. On one end of the spectrum was a material shower, the other end was death. Phillia is normally not the kind to accept death, so as soon as the boars charged at her she... Did nothing out of pure boredom. The boars passed by her like she was nothing and she didn't give a damn. Phillia just sat there and waited for the boars to kill themselves as one just did beause of Phillia's thorns. She shouted with joy as she picked up her rapier in excitement. Stabbing the boar was an easy task, as soon as the tip of the blade touched the boar it bursted into a shower of pixels. She began to think, did she feel more alive in here than in the real world? Many players probably felt like this too, but it's best not to dwell on this for too long. Everyone was going to be in SAO for a very long time, and just about all the other players knew that as well. Was it futile to think of the real world? 'I guess I like this world better, but there aren't as many people...' Remembering her past wasn't very easy, especially her early teenage moments. There was a ton of creepy boys flirting with the girls in middle school, and the occasional creepy old man who'd be right outside the classroom door when class was finished, but normally the police would come in and arrest him, which he'd then be forgotten in time. Fun and games, SAO and the real world were virtually similar in many aspects, but murder in the real world was more common and rampant. ID# 48583 results: Loot 2 Fail! Phillia is met with six horns, each dealing a very low amount of damage while the final pair of horns fail to hit her. Phillia noticed that she had a very good opportunity in front of her, with two of the boars damaged and the other two unscathed, she could kill two birds with one... Ermmm... Two swings. Those memories became sealed in a mind palace somehow, but that didn't really matter now, not while she was in battle. The two boars lined up and began running with horns facing Phillia, they then moved diagonally then back into their original position to do a flashy move (Which kills one of them). For once, she felt a strange emotion accompanied by a tingling feeling, what was it? It can't be sadness, it absolutely was not. She sliced at the boar and ended the madness, and there the feeling hit her again. 'This is strange, I've never felt this before.' Out of the blue, a ton of players came storming into the fields, "Woah, look at the sky!" All of them shouted. A vibrant display of colors filled the deep blues of the sky, it was a marvelous sight at first, but then Phillia realized those players came here to hunt, not look at the sky. 'Might as well search of materials now, can't really kill any boars with them around.' And so she began to search around the grassy field, paying attention to each stone and left none unturned. As soon as it landed, it made a gigantic thud and every single player in the fields started running to it. "I have a feeling that this isn't going to be very good, but oh well." A couple two dozen something players ran to the site, but Phillia just stayed where she was and looked for materials. Probably something stupid, maybe that crash site was actually a PK'er zone where they were pigs to the slaughter, or not. The possibilities were nearly endless, and those players should have known their limits. Most of them were in the single digit levels but Phillia payed no attention to that.
