[SP-F1] Going hunting

Sigh, it was another day, so time for some material gathering, Her store after all was getting low on supplies. And if she ever wanted to contest that lion girl with her store then she'd have to labour away daily, striving to reach that persons heights. So, walking out of the Town, Allania headed to the nearest selection of Boars that she could see. It was time to fight once again, time to fight for materials, survival and most importantly of all. Fun. Fun and curiosity were always at the heart of everything Allania did, never being one to do things she derived no joy or satisfaction from, as they were simply tedious.

Walking up to the group of Boars, her dagger twirling within her hand, Allania began her onslaught. She let out a battle cry at the creatures, alerting them to her presence. As they charged towards her, Allania performed an elegant twirl, her dagger spinning in a circle as she cut through the swath of creatures, pirouetting between them, avoiding all their attacks. It was the most elegant she had been in this world.

Turning around, launching into a circular dance once again. Allania cut through the creatures as if they were nothing. Nothing at all. It had been somewhat disappointing. She had been caught just as she was turning, but it did almost nothing with her armour equipped, doing almost equal damage to them in return as thorns.

*sigh* it had been a disappointing fight, they had barely endured, simply going under with next to no resistance. Hoping that the next batch would be somewhat more of a challenge Allania set off immediately for the next family of Boars.

Charging towards the next group, hoping this time to get the first strike in and not being the one on the responsive end. Allania began once again to twirl, but this time she missed all the Boars. She missed the Boars as unlike the first set who had mindlessly charged them, these ones initially charged but then quickly veered, detouring their route so as not to come within range of the dancing blade. Though as they diverted their path, they did not manage to land a blow on Allania.

Sighing, she had missed. I guess this means it's going to be at least a partially prolonged battle, she thought. With that she pivoted on the spot and chased after them, they would not get away this time. When the Boars turned around, Allania was on top of them, starting once again to spin in a deadly dance, trying to cut them all with her dagger in one motion. However they were too quick to respond, jumping back out of the path, waiting for her to finish her dance then thundering towards her, though she didn't seem to stop her dance, only pause in it, and as they charged at her it resumed once again. This time however the dagger was not extended and she was just joyously dancing about the Boars, dodging them once again.

These Boars seemed to have more intelligence than the previous group, She had not managed to land a single blow, unlike the last group who she had slain in quick succession. Once again beginning her dance, Allania moved to slice through the Boars, but this time was not so elegant. Having performed the move so many times in such a short span of time, Allania had become slightly dizzy, tripping over her feet she fell flat on her face, right infront of all the Boar who where mid-charge. Though as she fell, they did not expect that and had not the time to adjust course so as to trample her, so continued with their charge, stopping as early as they could, turning to charge again, hoping she was still on the ground.

Much to their delight the girl had not yet recovered, so the Boars, heads down, charged straight for the girl. Trying to get up as quickly as possible, on her hands and knees about to pop up, Allania got rammed into by the Boars. Much to their delight they had managed to land the first blow of this uneventful battle. The first Boar knocking the girl back to the ground, the other four following suit and a train of them trampled over her back. The only plus side Allania could see was that her thorns had taken effect, so even though it was marginal, they did each take some damage. Groaning, Allania tried to get back up. She was now out of energy, even after 4 attempts she had not hit them once.

She did not be seeming to get a break. As once again she had not even managed to get up before being trampled by the Boars. This time her thorns didn't even take effect. They did nothing to the creatures as they walked all over her back. Moaning as they went overhead, Allania was so thankful that she had made this armour. It had protected her from many a dangerous situation, saving her life an unknown number of times. Without it she surely would not have survived this battle.

Finally managing to just get up, Allania had little time before being rammed once again by the creatures. This was a thorough beating for her, she had not landed a single hit yet and had just been being trampled for the last whoever knows how long. Not yet wanting to use her energy, Allania bided her time until she could attempt to hit them multiple times in a row. But it was not easy, she was being pushed around by this group of Boars and so far she had been unable to do anything.

Watching her energy gauge tick up once more, Allania was ready once again to attack these creatures. As they charged, hitting her once again, Allania spun around as she was being pushed back, killing all the creatures in quick succession. When they had all burst into pixels, Allania collapsed to the floor, breathing heavily. That had been a difficult battle. Jut another two charges and she would be the one in pixels hanging in the air. Glad that she was not Allania lay there, trying to catch her breath.

Just lying there, Allania began to ponder what would she have felt if this had been her final fight. Not being able to go and join those on the frontlines, never having actually contributed to the exploration of this world, and having barely ventured onto further floors!! Good god was she not ready to leave yet. With that sentiment Allania resolve was regenerated. She would not die yet, she would not leave this world before she had helped to make an impact.

But before she could do that, she must recover. Panting, Allania stayed on the ground, waiting for herself to both recover from injury and regain energy so she could fight anew.

Having recovered almost to full health, catching her breath in the wait, Allania started to get up. She was still quite injured from the battle, those Boars had done a number on her, yet she was still alive and kicking. Much to her delight. Maybe I should go find some materials, she thought, that way I should be able to keep out of danger yet still be able to do something productive. Stretching off any cramps she had from lying on the ground, Allania walked off in the direction of some shrubberies. In the hope that she'll be able to find something of use.

Wandering over to aforementioned shrubberies Allania quickly fell to her knees upon arrival. It took less energy to crawl, at least it felt like it did. So on hands and knees Allania began to search the bushes for any materials that she could make use of. Drawing a blank, giving up her search after a short while, Allania rolled herself around into a sitting position, and waited to heal some more. I should be able to go fight some more Boar soon, she thought, it is by far a much more reliable method of material gathering.

Rolling back around onto her hands and knees, Allania began to search for materials again. Crawling through the shrubs, going deeper into the small thicket, but being unable to find anything. Sighing, Allania crawled back out and stood up. Looking at her health bar and her full energy gauge she felt that she was once again ready to go and fight some mobs. Taking her dagger out, Allania set off to find her next battle.

Finding another group of Boars, Allania trotted towards them. When just a short way off they noticed her, and much like the first group, charged straight at her. Once again going into a dance of blades, slicing into the hides of the Boars, dodging the tusks of the creatures. It seemed like she was back to how she was in the first battle, and for that she was thankful.

Not stopping in her dance, Allania continued to twirl on the spot. The Boars had charged past her, and now turned back to her and charged again. Ramming into the spinning form of the girl all of them being hit in the process. They managed to disrupt her spin, but was unable to prevent her from hitting them. Grunting as they got hit, they continued to push through Allania, pushing her backwards.

As they continued to push through Allania, she tried to swing at them once again, her arms flailing as they push her back. Though as they continued to drive through the armour's thorns activated, digging into the hides of the creature, bursting them into pixels. The force pushing her suddenly disappearing, Allania tumbled forward. Falling flat on her face she let out a loud laugh, that one was more fun.

Thinking that she should probably heal up before once again fighting some Boars. Allania walked over to the top of a nearby hill. May as well try and find my next group of combatants. Once she breached the top of the hill, Allania headed to a nearby tree, one that would provide her a smitten of shade. Nestling in a small hollow at the base of the tree, she looked out over the plains, scanning the horizon.

Letting out a large sighing, nestling herself further into the hollow in the tree. It was surprisingly comfortable. Looking for another group of Boars. After quickly spotting her next contestors, Allania's concentration wandered. She started to count how many little ants of people that she could see, scurrying about on the plains below. They all seemed to be so active. That was good though. It meant they were striving, surviving and struggling onwards. It was with no doubt admirable.

Standing up, Allania started to head towards the next group of Boars. Though as she headed towards them another party engaged the group. Well, that's mildly annoying, she thought, it seems like I'm not needed here anymore. Shaking her head, Allania walked off back towards the Town of Beginning. It seemed like the players here were killing the Boar without the need of her.
