[PP-F5] Meeting up again (Gaster)

Recommended Posts

The fifth floor, a hostile desert. It was as hot as usual, the Sun hanging in the air, beating down upon all those that scurried about on the sands and streets below. The sky was clear, not a cloud sailed the azure sea overhead.

Allania found herself on this floor once again. It was the floor that she now frequented the most and had long since became used to the heat of this floor. The survival skill helping undeniably in this task. She was on the edge of the town, sat against a building looking out across the dunes. Today she was going to gather some resources, search for sub-dungeons, the usual, but was now debating whether to go alone or to ask someone on her friends list if they wanted to join her. With the though playing on her mind Allania swiped her hand down, opening her menu. Scrolling through the options she quickly found her friends list and began to mill through the options. As she idly searched she came across one friend that she hadn't seen in a while. Clicking on the name she quickly wrote a message and sent it to him, hoping that he would be able to respond quickly.

Gaster arrived on the fifth floor, having read Allania's message and feeling like meeting with a friend again, and was quickly impacted by its great heat. It was times like this that he found his garb to be a burden, but not so much that he couldn't function properly. He began to look around for Allania around the teleporter pad, but stepped down and continued to look for her when he didn't immediately find her. Gaster was prepared to try fighting again, but he wondered if they were going to do anything else. After all, he was in a new place. He would love to go around and explore every possible inch.

Once she had sent the message Allania headed immediately for the teleporting pad to wait. She did not know how long he would be or if he would turn up at all, but it was worth waiting for she concluded. When she was in the plaza that hosted the teleporting pad Allania found a bench upon which to sit and observe those that arrived on this floor, as if Gaster was to arrive then that was the only way he would do so. After a short while of waiting she spotted him appear on the pad, emerging from the bright light that accompanied any and all travellers between the floor. Allania waited a moment before rising, waiting to see if he had spotted her yet, with it evident that he had not she headed on over in his direction, calling out his name over the throng of people.

After a bit more searching, Gaster saw Allania sitting down on a bench. He smiled, and headed over to her without a moment of hesitation. "Good day, Madame Allania." he said, giving her a small bow when he reached her. "Its been a while. How have you been since I last saw you?" he asked, wondering about the recent events of his friend. Along with the fact that he was just plainly interested in knowing how she's been, he also wanted to delay setting out for a bit, but he kept that information to himself.
