Hikoru 0 Posted May 12, 2016 Author #21 Report Share Posted May 12, 2016 (edited) Hikoru's eyes adjusted to discover a room that wasn't that big, but it was big enough for him to stand and have plenty of room around him to walk and move freely, and not bump his head on the ceiling by jumping. It was caked with dirt and roots in the walls, and small torches lined the walls, giving the room a small glow. He sighed and continued forward, ready to fight anything. Suddenly, four creatures spawned in front of him, and they seemed to be tree-like creatures, and they didn't look friendly. Using his <<Concentration>> Skill, he breathed and took a simple swipe and attacked it, destroying it in seconds. The other three attacked, but he was able to easily evade them, for they we're slow, and the room was big enough for him to move easily. He smiled and laughed, a bit more happier than he expected to "Alright boys, lets dance." He said with a small and happy laugh. He had found his happiness alright, and it was killing things, which he didn't mind doing. It meant getting stronger, which is something he was happy he was finally doing. ID: 58786 BD: 2+4=6 Hit! He grit his teeth and backed away as the three remaining Tree creatures did their best to attack them. He sighed and gave a laugh, then looked at them, a crazed look in his eye "Is that the best you can do? Come on! You can try to at least hit me!" He said with a mad laugh. He loved this, envied the happiness that he had missed before. He wished he had found this out sooner, because this was the happiest he had been in a long time. The little buggers seemed to be moving quickly, and he had to step up his game. He grit his teeth and the nearest one went for an attack, and he ducked and rolled away. He got up and brushed off the dust particles and sighed. This definitely wasn't going his way, and he had to turn this around "Alright, time to get this done..." He moved away from the other two creatures before they could even try and attack. He smiled and laughed, everything was starting to get better. He laughed more and more, and soon held out his arms to the other creatures "Come now! Let us battle to the death you wicked little creatures!" He smiled and just decided to let them try and take a shot, feeling like he sould try and have a little bit of fun. He held his arms out wide and smiled at the creatures "One hit before I destroy the both of you!" He said with a small laugh. The tree-trolls looked at each other, and expected that the player was planning something. They backed away slowly, not willing to take the change. Hikoru backed away before it could attack, and he smiled at the small creature. This fight had been way too easy, and he knew it. He hoped the boss of this area would be easier to take on, and he smiled as he had realised this. There was no way that it could kill him on his own, and he had no fear of death anymore, so why should he be afraid of it? He laughed and smiled, enjoying the feel of the last remaining pixels of the dead mob against his skin, and he laughed more and more, finally settling on the ground as he couldn't breathe anymore, and was tired from using so much energy. He breathed, and heard a small squeak come from his pocket. He looked to see Sutetchi, looking slightly scared. He just laughed and pet his familiar's head "It's alright bud, the bad guys are gone..." He said with another small laugh and sheathed his dagger. ID: 58795 BD: 4+3=7 Hit! MD: 5-3=2 Miss! He knew he would have to wait for a moment or two for his Health to replenish. He yawned and closed his eyes for a moment. He didn't have anything else to think about or do for a few more moments. He was exhausted, and needed a break for a moment or two to hold himself together and regain his composure. He yawned and closed his eyes. He felt Sutetchi crawl onto his chest, and he smiled and pet his head lightly, then placed his head back down and took a nap for a few moments in peace, something he hadn't been to do for days, and he enjoyed every single second of it. Hikoru 0 Posted May 12, 2016 Author #30 Report Share Posted May 12, 2016 Hikoru was sleeping, and that's all he did. Was sleep, because what else do you do in a dreamless sleep? You just sleep, because there is nothing else that your brain can continue to do. Sutetchi was having the same affect, sleeping without having any sort of dream, and he enjoyed the feeling as well. He had noticed that his owner, Hikoru, had been depressed, down lately. But since he cried today, he had seemed... different, by a lot, but he couldn't put his paw on it. All the familiar could really do was go along with it and hope for the best. So once Hikoru went to sleep, he knew that he could go to sleep. He could tell from the glow of the entrance behind him, indicating that the sun was back up. He yawned and stretched, and soon Sutetchi scurried off his chest, frightened by the sudden movement. He gave a small laugh and whistled, calling the familiar back to him. He looked at the door, then scratched his familiar's chin "Looks like we overslept." He said with a small smile. He yawned and stood up, scooping up the familiar and placing him on his shoulder. "Come on, let's finish this up and head home." He said, and started to look around for another door. He smiled and opened it slowly, seeing a larger room from where he came. He came in, and soon the door slammed shut behind him, bringing him into pitch black darkness. After a few moments, torches burned brightly on the walls, and there stood a giant tree-like creature, and it looked mad. He just laughed and unsheathed his dagger "Must've been your kids or something..." He said with a small laugh. "Too bad their dead." He said as he laughed louder. It soaked up all of the damage, and it took a large chunk of health. It took a swing at him, but he barely missed it, but just barely. He breathed and landed on the ground, almost half of his Energy drained, and he gave a small smile "Come on. give me more of a challenge then that!" he said, and soon the laughing started again. He breathed and stood, wiping a bead of sweat from his brow and sighed, happy that he had dealt some good damage to it. ID: 58813 BD: 2+4=6 Hit! MD: 6-3=3 Miss! He laughed and landed, petting his Familiar and sheathing his Dagger, heading back to where he came. He had finished what he was doing here, and had no reason to stay "Come on bud, let's get out of here." He said with a small laugh.
