[F5-SP] Sharknado 5: The quicksand-ening. <<Blood in the Sand>>

With a yawn, Nikodemus found himself once more on Floor 5. The desert was becoming a regular stopping point for him, and he still hated the sand with a passion. Grumbling abit, Nikodemus looked about and then sent a message to all available players for some help dealing with the <<Sand Shark>> he had slain once before. Walking to the edge of town, Nikodemus stood there and waited for any reply. He would give it an hour, then head out if no one replied. Looking out at the sand dunes, Nikodemus remembered his last time out there and how he had almost been torn to ribbons by a sand storm. Thankfully, one shouldn't be spawning for at least a day. Kicking a small beetle away from his armor he sighed slightly and then looked about again.

<<Blood in the Sand>>

This Repeatable quest takes place on Floor 5

 

Word from the Information Brokers speaks of a hidden respawning Field Boss on Floor 5. A small party reported having encountered a dangerous unknown enemy in the sand dunes of Floor 5. 'Swimming' through the sand, the shark like creature would attack by bursting out of the sand and biting with powerful jaws. This monster <<Sand Shark>>, proved to be a dangerous opponent for the relatively low leveled party, and dropped a powerful alchemical concoction.

 

This RP will not count in the benchmark

 

Requirement: 

<<Sand Shark>> must be defeated, Maximum Party Size of 3

At least two [2] Pages  (21 or more posts)

 

Rewards: 

1. [sand Armor Potion] This incredibly potent alchemical salve can be applied to a piece of armor, increasing damage mitigation/resistance by one point for one battle. (MIT +27)
2. [3 Skill Points]

 

 

<<Sand Shark>> is a respawning Field Boss and has the following statistics:

HP: 125

Damage per Attack: 30

 

• Parties or Groups of low level players are encouraged.
• You are free to control Sand Shark yourself, however he must be Rp'd responsibly.

 

Note:

While you may repeat this Quest as many times as you like, the 3 Skill Point reward will only be obtained on the first completion of the Quest. Repeat completions will only yield <<The Sand Armor>>

[Khrysaor 0]

Khrysaor was about to close up shop early and head out to hunt for some more material. When a Aincrad-wide PM was sent to everyone asking for help in killing a shark. "Well if it isn't my buddy Niko. Seems he needs help, which I am available to give." muttered Khrysaor. Khrysaor sent a quick PM back saying he is ready to accept this mission for his friend, 'Who knows I may get some material out of it as well,' thought Khrysaor.

He closed up shop, and headed for the teleportation gates. He stood on top of the gate and said, "Teleport-Floor 5, Armadillo." Khrysaor was whisked away in a shining blue light, while his last thoughts before disappearing was, 'What the hell did I get myself into? I am going to the f****** desert, where there will be sand. Dammit, why did I agree to this? Oh, yea because it was for a friend, well this sucks and I can't even get out of it anymore.'

[Seul 1]

Seul strolled toward the gate of Armadillo at a leisurely pace. Today's task was a simple one; just helping some player who wished to fight the sand shark that lived out in the desert. How many times now had the knight defeated the thing? He lost count... Not that it mattered too much. Passing up such an opportunity wasn't something he could do. He needed the experience helping with such a battle would provide after all. As he neared the exit, he saw an armor-clad player who seemed to be waiting and figured that they were the one who sent the message. "I'm here to help kill the sand shark."

Seeing Khrysaor approach, Nikodemus hailed the young man in salute. His helmet was attatched and sealed to his armor, and his sheild was on his left arm already. The large ornate axe hung from a length of chain at his hip, easily accessible at any moment. The next player to arrive was one Nikodemus hadn't ventured with in the past. Waving in salute as he approached as well, Nikodemus waited til both were near enough to hear him. "Wilkommen gentlemen. Danke for accepting my request for help. I have dealt with this verdammt fish before all fine and such, but wish to exterminate it once again in a more controlled manner. It will be simple and all. Just a nice hike into this blasted desert, we can kill a couple <<Dune Scorpions>> along the way, and then when we reach the <<Sand Shark>> we kill it quick, then return. Nothing to hard for any of us. Are we ready?" Nikodemus turned, took his axe from it's chain, and began to walk from the safezone around Armadillo.

As Khrysaor got transported onto the floor, he walked out and waved to Nikodemus who was already there saluting him. As Khrysaor came up to Nikodemus he patted him on the shoulder and said, "Hey, buddy what's up? Here to help ya grill a shark. Tis my first time doing the quest and since it is your second you can help explain to me the more specifics of it." A few minutes later another player came in announcing that he was going to help them on this quest as well. Khrysaor followed after Nikodemus, as he led the way out of the safe zone. Khrysaor equipped his armor, shield and sword to his body, and adjusted them into place. 'Man, it's too hot out here, especially with wearing all this thick armor.' thought Khrysaor. He turned to the newcomer, whom he has not met yet and put his hand out towards him to shake with and said, "Hello, How's it going? What's your name, mine's is Khrysaor."
