[F4-PP] Into the Snow <<Essence of Steel>> (ft. Lawfer)

Seul sat outside of the tavern in Snowfrost Town with a cup of hot chocolate to keep him company as he waited. When was the last time he actually worked with someone on a quest? He couldn't remember. He was at least a little stronger now than the last time he fought alongside Lawfer, but it wasn't like the snow beast posed much of a threat to either of them in the first place. It might have been true they were both capable of fighting it on their own, but with the recent lack of enthusiasm for the frontlines everyone needed to get stronger to eventually join the cause of clearing the game. He tugged on his coat gently as he brought the mug to his lips and scanned the area for his guildmate.

As the bright light dissipated from around Lawfer he smiled as he looked out at the snow filled town. He did love the town, it reminded him of the real world winters that he experienced in his younger years. "Love this place..." He commented as he began walking through the fresh snow. "Ok,,, he should be around here." He stated, as he looked across the road trying to find his partner for the coming quest. As he spotted Seul he raised his hand. "Hey Seul! You ready to head out? or should i order a stiff drink before he get out of here?" He asked with a smirk, an Irish coffee seemed like a great idea at this point.

A soft sigh escaped as he finished off the last of his drink then turned his attention to Lawfer. "You can if you want. I'm good to go, but there's no rush." He stated before getting up and opening his menu. A moment later his dagger and shield materialized onto his form and he gave the man a thumbs up. "I do want to get back to town before dark if we can though. Even if this is a lower floor, traveling outside at night doesn't sound so appealing to me." In the past few months it seemed a lot more players were dying than usual. Prominent people who stood as the strongest Aincrad had to offer. If even they were succumbing to the game, there wouldn't be any problem with him getting written off in the same manner. He'd of course do everything in his power to prevent that though.

The Dragoon nodded in approval as he raised his right hand and scrolled through his inventory. Equipping his Lancer set of equipment, his scarlet armor and spear materialized over his body in a whirl of spinning lights. "Well then lets try to get this over and done with quickly... We can come back and grab some beers or liquor after." He commented with a smirk across his face as he motioned with his head to push on towards the gate. As the two walked side by side, Lawfer looked over to Seul. "It's been sometime since we last quested. How you been buddy?"
