Looking about, he noticed the dwindling amount of materials he had left and decided it was time to farm once more. Preparing himself, Nikodemus equipped his armor, shield, and axe and left his shop, locking it down. Teleporting to floor one, he sat at a bunch and enjoyed the morning sun rising. After a bit, he sent a broadcast to some people he knew to see if any wanted to tag along on the material search. Waiting for a reply, he sat and relaxed, closing his eyes and meditating. He saw a post from someone asking for people to go farm materials. He had noticed that he's fairly low on materials himself, he quickly gather his stuff and headed down here. The wanderer isn't exactly the best person to show directions to. After wandering the town for about an hour, he finally finds himself at the place where the player that sent the request is suppose to be waiting at. As he looked around, he really couldn't find the person, until in the corner of his eyes, he spots Nikodemus_Blackwood. "Ah that must be the guy," he thought to himself. He began walking towards him. Recognizing the man as someone he had bought potions from recently, Nikodemus gave a curt bow. "Yes, I am seeking materials. I am running a bit low now and would like to get some. If you are ready, let us be off." With that, Nikodemus turned and began heading outside of the Town of Beginnings. Once outside the safezone, Nikodemus equipped his shield and axe, ready for any mobs that may come upon them. Walking along, he followed a trail that would led out into the western grasslands of floor 1 where he knew of some rooting pits where boars were nesting as well as some groves of trees and thick undergrowths of brambles and other bushes that many materials could hide in. As he made his way, he kept an ear open for sounds of mobs and players alike, and scanned the area. "Shouldn't be too long til we are at a nice place to farm boars. "I got this." he told Niko and rushed straight at the boar. Once he was close enough, the wanderer tightly gripped his blade. As he drew the sword, it glowed azure. The wanderer jumped at the boar slashed it with five blinding fast cuts, ripping red marks all over it's body. The wanderer then flips over the boar as it tried to charge at the wanderer, completely dodging the boar. Watching Rain strike the beast, he smiled as it howled in pain and attempted to attack. Rain leapt aside of the beast with ease, and the boar hurtled straight at Nikodemus. With a quirked brow, the armored giant stepped to the side and lazily slashed his axe at the beast. His attack missed by a few inches, and the boar charged past him, then reared around and began it's charge back towards the two players. With a shrug, nikodemus watched it with disinterest at the moment as he was using this moment to gauge Rain's movements before they got into the thick of multiple beasts. The wanderer mirrored the boar and turned around just as well. He tightens his grip on Bakuzan until it glowed azure. Once it glowed azure he quickly rushes the boar. Like-wise the boar followed suit. As the boar got near enough it threw it's tusks at the wanderer trying to hit him, but the wanderer was there. The wanderer then appears behind the boar and 5 large cuts riddled the body of the boar. As the boar fell to the ground it broke into countless pixels. The axe began to glow a sickly green as it traveled through the air. It spun towards the pack of boars and struck through each of them, slicing them deeply and then breaking past and rounding up and over them, returning to his hand. Catching the axe, Nikodemus moved towards the and leapt over the beasts, landing in a roll to clear past them. Spinning around, he prepared himself for the next pass of attacks. The wanderer began to walk towards him with the intent to help him out when a small snake slithered past his foot. Panicked, the wanderer drew his blade at the poor creature. With an azure glow on the blade, he sliced once... twice... trice... four... then moments later, the wanderer jumps up in the air and with one final swing, brings down judgement on the small snake... A small snake. After a few seconds later, the wanderer quickly realized what he has done. Baffled by the sheer stupidity of the action, he facepalms himself till his body flung to the ground. As he looked up in the sky, he began to contemplate his life decisions. With a quick swipe, he brought the blade down on one of the boars, turning it into pixels as the blade cut through it like lightning. Leaping once more over the remaining boar, Nikodemus landed in a tucked roll, then sprang back up and landed next to Rain. With that in mind he decided, the wanderer decides to take a quick rest. He casually navigates his way through his inventory and takes out an Eternal Spring, a fancy little thing he made which - he believes - is completely unique to him. He casually opens the crystal flask and drinks from it. Water poured out non stop. He was feeling weary and knew he would be exhausted soon. Coming in fast, he charged his <Lightning Axe> Sword Art once more and brought the axe down on another boar. It, and it's two brethren struck Nikodemus at the same time, activating his <Thorns> effect. The boar Nikodemus had hit burst into pixels from the sustained damage it took, and the other two were sent squealing away. After they put some space between themselves and Nikodemus, they turned and charged once more at him. Growling, Nikodemus knelt down and tried to focus. He was exhausted, but with luck, he would have be fine. As the other boars however were able to sneak up to Niko and landed some blows, but as the wanderer looked at Niko's health bar, he knew that hit meant nothing to Niko. The wanderer decided to take and time and sit back to rest up as Niko fought the other boars. He knew Niko this fight in the bag. It may take long, but he most definitely won this fight. The boar can barely make a dent on him. With that in mind, the wanderer looked around to find a nice tree to lean against. A few moments later, he finds one with a nice shade. With a deep breathe, he was able to activate his Armor's <Regen> ability to bring his health up, but just as the glowing shimmer faded, the twin boars both made another strike against him, knocking him down and rolling him around a bit. His armor absorbed the brunt of the damage, and he came out with naught but a scrap or two. Standing, he growled angrily and focused prepared to strike at the beasts. The wanderer's eyes wandered around the area, looking at this that could be of interest. Maybe when he looks back at the fight again, this would be over. As he looked about, a slight breeze blew in. It was really nice and relaxing. As he sat there relaxing, hungry stirred inside his stomach. Not wanting to deal with it later, he casually navigates his HUD and took out a piece of bread from his inventory. Now, he's just casually eating while waiting for Niko to finish up. Growling, he stormed towards the charging boars with no care. Bringing his axe down on one of the boars, it's tusk taking the blow and breaking an inch from the razor sharp tip. The wound was not enough to do anything but annoy the beast. Taking the hit from both of them square in his chest, Nikodemus fell to the ground. His armor once more took the blow, and it's <Thorns> effect kicked in. Watching the two boars twitch and squeal, Nikodemus panted for breath. The two boars finally stopped moving and burst into pixels. Laying where he had landed, Nikodemus laughed slightly and then sat up. "Well now. That was a bit of a shambles, wasn't it?" "Hey... tough fight, huh?" The wanderer stood above the resting knight, Bakuzan casually resting on his right shoulder. As the wanderer was casually talking to Niko, a wild boar charges from a nearby brush. The wanderer quickly dodges the charging boar with ease. He then follows it up with 5 blinding fast slashes. Growling, he struggled more and more to get up. His muscles refused to do anything, and his body was locked up in. Growling, let himself relax and tried to get his body under control once more. "S.Sorry Rain. I am not gonna be any good for a moment." Breathing deeply, Nikodemus let the muscles unstiffen an the joints unlock. As he did, he felt himself loosen up and become more movable. Both circled each other waiting for each to do something. the moment passed, the wanderer grew impatient. It then gets to the point where the wanderer couldn't stop himself anymore. With that in mind, the wanderer rushed the boar without any regards to his safety. The boar followed suit and charged the wander. As both were about to hit each other, both fighters fell to ground. Trying to sit up, he managed to rise half way and prop himself up on his arms. Looking at the young man facing off with the boar, Nikodemus tried to relax more so he could be of some help. It would take another moment, but soon he would be well rested and able to strike again. Bringing himself to a knee, he took another deep breath and steadied himself using his shield as an anchor to keep him from falling face first. After a moment, he was able to stand once more. With any regards to his safety, he rushed the boar with all intention to kill. The boar followed suit and tried to attack also. Unfortunately to the boar, as it was about to hit the wanderer, the wanderer swing his blade upwards, knocking it's head up and completely deflecting the on coming blow. The wanderer then swings down cutting right down the body of the boar.
