[PP-F1] Putting off the Inevitable (Cygnus and Kooh) - COMPLETED

Recommended Posts

Cygnus nodded when Kooh took her stance. "Not bad. But..." He shouldered his weapon and looked Kooh, examining her stance and having her slightly change the positioning of her arms to block more attacks and widening her stance a bit. "More like that. You can strike quickly, defend quickly, and evade quickly. Now, before we end for today, just remember to be confident with your strikes. Strong and confident. Also, remember this; a warrior's foundation is in their stance. We don't get second chances here, so we have to learn to play outside the system and be as unpredictable as possible. Fight smarter, live longer." He nodded at his motto before giving Kooh some parting words of encouragement. "You've got a lot of potential, Kooh. Just keep practicing and you'll be a fine warrior." He looked at the sun and noticed that it was beginning to set. "It's getting late. Maybe we should head back." He said with a frown. He was actually enjoying teaching another person. He wasn't ready to stop yet. "We'll pick up another lesson some other time... if you're interested of course."

The girl repositioned herself without a fuss as Cygnus asked, listening with an inward skepticism to her thoughts as he explained things like warriors and potential. Before they could continue much further, the man pointed out the setting sun and Kooh had to prevent herself from releasing a sigh of relief. Instead, she relaxed her stance and let her arms fall back to her sides. She went about unequipping the items and once they had vanished she slipped her hands comfortably back into her pockets. She began to look like she was considering his words a moment before offering the man a small shrug and a nod. "Sure, why not?" it wasn't worth it to try and come up with excuses or avoid it, as much as she knew she wanted to.

Cygnus nodded and gave the girl a thumbs up. "Great. Well, i'm off. I'll catch you later!" With a smile and a wave, he turned and made his way back to the Town of Beginnings. He was satisfied with how the day went. Even though Kooh didn't manage to land a single blow on the enemy, he felt good about taking time out of his day to help a fellow player out. He looked back at Kooh, giving her one final wave. It was good to know that he could do his part to put an end to all of this. "With any luck, I can join the real fight soon." He mumbled to himself, looking back ahead and towards the city.
