Macradon 0 Posted June 29, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 29, 2016 Macradon was packed and ready to journey out to the 6th floor this time. A giant beast had been ravaging the dense forest of the 6th floor, a quest Macradon seemed fit for him. Not only was it about slaying a beast, but also getting some nice SP he could use. As he arrived from the long walk to the 6th floor, he would seek the village that needed help, just in case, he would grab a damage enhancing potion from his inventory and smear out the liquid from the vial out on his sword. He would keep his sword sheathed for the moment as he would encounter the village. +4 Damage potion consumed. Macradon 0 Posted June 29, 2016 Author #2 Share Posted June 29, 2016 Not long after arriving at the 6th floor, he located the village that send out the quests on the notice boards. The Amazon village that asked for help, even though the whole floor was in need of help, accepted Macradon's help. They told him where the beast was last seen. "Hm, interesting" he thought for himself as he would walk towards the tiger. "A tiger made of flames ... huh" he would ponder as he walked through the jungle. It would not take long before he noticed the damage done to the jungle, everything was burned down and an intense heat could be felt. He watched as a big giant flame would rush by him, looking towards the running fire, Macradon noticed the shape of it.
Macradon 0 Posted June 29, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted June 29, 2016 (edited) He drew his sword as a fight was about to start. He would take a deep breath as he would begin to sprint forward. The Cardinal system would activate his <Charge> skill as he was charging against the giant flame tiger. He got close enough to unleash a powerful attack, his Calamitous Tragedy. His strongest single target sword art he had in his arsenal. With 4 great and devastating cleaves, the tiger would be dispersed into pixels. Macradon's overwhelming power was more than enough to take care of a 6th floor's quest boss like this. Evne though the battle was over this fast, Macradon got a glimpse of the boss' name, Byakko. He would remember that for another time if it would be needed. Spoiler ID: 62478 BD: 5+1=6, hit. CD: 5, no proc. Macradon 0 Posted June 29, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted June 29, 2016 (edited) He knew a fight like this wasn't just easy when you're in the middle of a jungle. Macradon's Search and Detect was able to spot out the presence of a few monsters lurking behind the trees. Even though Macradon couldn't pin point them, he was still aware of their existence. He would stand still and await the monster's assault on him "Come and get me!" he roared out. He would see four tigers jump out from behind the jungle trees and try to attack him. He would jump back from his starting position and would use his <Charge> skill as well as his <Disguise> skill to change into a tiger himself, confusing the group of 4. His charge would launch him forward as he would get out of his disguise and attack with his <Fight Blade> sword art. <Disguise activated> Spoiler ID: 62479BD: 4+1+1=6, hit.CD: 3, no proc.LD: 19+3=22, bonus Col, bonus mat!Sword art used: Fight Blade 6x1x20-24=96 DMG - Health List -Macradon: 177/177 HP || 66 MIT || 17 DMG || 31/43 NRG (-12 Energy) < Jungle Tiger > 1-4 0/96 HP || 24 MIT || 72 DMG - Loot Acquired - Mats: 10 Col: 5340 <Tiger Rage> Edited June 29, 2016 by Macradon
Macradon 0 Posted June 29, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted June 29, 2016 (edited) Macradon wasn't as awake as he had hoped to be. After he had slain the 4 tigers, he wasn't alert. He was assaulted by 4 more tigers that had waited for him to either get killed or get rid of the first wave of tiger. Macradon grit his teeth as his reactions were too slow for him to get a good hit at anything. He would mauled, clawed and bit, 4 times in total. His armor would withstand the damage, as well as his Regen to proc and regenerate his health back up to ful. He would shake off his enemies and roll to the side and back up again to reposition himself in this battle. Spoiler ID: 62480BD: 4+1=5, miss.CD: 12, Recovery proc, Regen proc.MD: 9, crit +1 DMG. Macradon 0 Posted June 29, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted June 29, 2016 (edited) Macradon would collect his mind again and get ready to fight. He would go into battle with his two handed sickle and strike down the jungle tigers with 6 swift blows. The attacks were strong enough to take all four of them down with no problem. The loot these tigers left behind was quite nice to get, Macradon would not disagree with that. "It's nice getting to farm some loot as well as clearing a quest" he thought as he would stretch his body. "I should probably go look for a dungeon sooner or later" he thought as he would continue. Macradon 0 Posted June 29, 2016 Author #7 Share Posted June 29, 2016 (edited) He didn't get to go that far before another group of tigers attacked. Macradon was fast enough to duck under all the 4 incoming tigers, making them all crash into each other. Macradon rolled to the side away from them and charged back in with his <Charge> skill. He annihilated the group of tigers with <Fight Blade> again. He would sigh deeply as the only things he had been fighting were tigers, he was hoping for something else to appear, but didn't seem like it was going to happen. He heard some rustling behind the trees "I've been assaulted by 12 tigers already ... why are there so many tigers the same spot?" he asked himself in his thoughts as he would ready himself for another sweep. Macradon 0 Posted June 29, 2016 Author #8 Share Posted June 29, 2016 (edited) He wouldn't wait for the tigers to come out now. He would actively use his Search and Detect to find the spot where the tigers were lying in the shadows. He quickly spotted them and would charge towards the location. With quick speed and easy movements, he used both <Charge> and his sword art Fight Blade to destroy the tigers. He had been doing this many times now, and it was getting tedious to constantly repeat, but it was free and easy materials and col. He would sigh as he would exit the jungle and get back to the main settlement of the floor to rest. Macradon 0 Posted July 17, 2016 Author #9 Share Posted July 17, 2016 Getting back to the main settlement of Amazon, Macradon would meet up with the folks that had been issuing the quest for people. Quickly replying back to them that he had defeated the giant fire tiger and save the amazon's jungle like forests. They would all cheer for him and reward him with additional EXP. It was great getting all this, and he could indeed use this kind of stuff, getting more EXP was just a good idea in itself, and getting this and some more from the possible dungeon he was about to search for was even better. Macradon 0 Posted July 17, 2016 Author #10 Share Posted July 17, 2016 Imagining what kind of dungeons could be found on this floor interested him a lot, until he then remembered that he had once been dungeon hunting on this floor with Zandra, his good friend. The mushroom people were just weak and were easily slain by the two in no time, letting them have some nice EXP for that. Dungeon hunting was always a good thing, as Macradon got Mats, Col and EXP, all valuable for him to some extent. His Mats for his shop, Col for funding a house and EXP for himself, so he could skyrocket up into the levels, just as he wanted.
Macradon 0 Posted July 17, 2016 Author #11 Share Posted July 17, 2016 (edited) Pondering on what kind of dungeon he would find this time, Macradon would think of the possible underground jungle dungeons he would be able to find. First were the shroom people, another could be like a Jurassic themed dungeon, another could just be an underground jungle with various jungle monsters. Macradon would find a bench to sit on and relax for his energy to regenerate so he could get out into the fields again. There were many possibilities of to what kind of dungeon it could be, Macradon could only but wait to discover it. Edited July 17, 2016 by Macradon
Macradon 0 Posted July 17, 2016 Author #12 Share Posted July 17, 2016 (edited) It didn't take too long for Macradon to get his energy regenerated with all this relaxing. He would get up on his feet again and walk out into the wild to fight some monsters, get some Mats and Col while also looking for dungeons. Just a few seconds after he left the town Amazon, he would be met with a bunch of jungle gorillas. They quickly turned hostile as they spotted Macradon. Fierce roars and monkey sound would come from the small pack of gorillas. They would charge towards Macradon, and he would fight back. All 4 of the gorillas threw attacks at Macradon which he all blocked and deflected, but never got a chance himself to do anything back. Spoiler ID: 63955 BD: 2+1=3, miss. CD: 5, no proc. MD: 2, miss. Macradon 0 Posted July 17, 2016 Author #13 Share Posted July 17, 2016 (edited) Macradon would not hesitate to go into the offensive when the opportunity would arise. A few blocks and deflects would be made by Macradon before a devastating flurry of cuts and cleaves would be dished out to annihilate the threat, being the gorillas Macradon was facing. 6 sweeps were enough to take them out, it even triggered his bleeding strikes, but his damage was far too superior for his bleed to take effect for now. The gorillas would drop dead and award Macradon some Col and Mats, which were always great. Spoiler ID: 63959BD: 10+1=10, crit +2.CD: 2, no proc. Macradon 0 Posted July 17, 2016 Author #14 Share Posted July 17, 2016 (edited) It did not take long before another group of gorillas emerged from the jungle, assaulting Macradon like the tigers did before. It was very weird having so many monsters sneaking around and jumping onto people like this. From giant feline creatures to primates, who weren't really the sneaky types of animals. The felines were perfectly natural to do so, but the primates weren't. Something was off, but Macradon couldn't put a finger on it, and just like before, Macradon was on the defensive, blocking and deflecting without having any time to retaliate. Macradon 0 Posted July 17, 2016 Author #15 Share Posted July 17, 2016 (edited) On guard, Macradon would do the same as before, waiting for the gorillas to finish their flurry of blows before Macradon would tumble out of their arena and then unleash a 4 combo strike, taking down the health faster than he did with the group before, but he had to make sure that he defeated them on the spot. Taking down the gorillas was good enough, it didn't seem like there would be any more gorillas than these 8 in the vicinity, so Macradon would begin the search for a dungeon as soon as possible. Macradon 0 Posted July 17, 2016 Author #16 Share Posted July 17, 2016 (edited) He was just beginning to search for the dungeon until he saw a big tree with a hole in it, around the size of the average person. He would look inside the big tree to discover that it was hollow. A form of ladder was made by natural branches and grooves on the inside of the hollow tree, going downwards into a pit of darkness. Macradon was sure that it was a dungeon and would begin his crawl down into the hole. The deep hollow tree would slowly become illuminated as he began to crawl lower and lower into the hollow tree. The underground dungeon was illuminated by bioluminescent mushroom and different kind of algae. A small pack of toads were staring at Macradon, they would all use their tongue to shoot at him, he would dodge quickly and unleash a <Blast> at them with his <Charge>, annihilating them quickly. Macradon had his disguise on and hid as one of the toads so he could get into position and strike down on them from a hidden point. Macradon 0 Posted July 17, 2016 Author #19 Share Posted July 17, 2016 (edited) He sat in the small underground arena and would look around at the scenery that was present in front of him for now. The entire dungeon was made by rocks, dirt and earth, the walls that is. On the walls were small mushrooms in big bunches, liquid algae scattered around in the dungeon as well as some plant life, but it was only the mushrooms and algae that were lighting up the dungeon from the dark underground. Fascinated by the depth of detail there were in this game, Macradon would ponder on how long it actually took to program something as big as this. First post out of battle. Macradon 0 Posted July 17, 2016 Author #20 Share Posted July 17, 2016 (edited) It was really fascinating that a game this big had something with this much detail in it. It was so different from most other games that were on the market at this time. Most games would have decent graphics and minor details embed into the open world they were made into, but this game was different, very different. From having big behemoth of mountains in the background, to having the most detailed rock on the mountains you could access, it was all going from small detailed backgrounds all the way to the highly detailed scenery you walked in.
