Kasier red eyes looked up as the turn of the boars approached once more. The boars were once more preparing an attack. Hopefully, this time, the boars would miss. If so, it would allow a few more turns for Cygnus to recover some energy and finally finish off the boars when he is given the opportunity. As Kasier finished off her bread, she watched as the boars approached the man in almost perfect coordination. Their red, bloody eyes looked forward in menace. The only things that Kasier didn't like about the boars were the fact that they attack and their eyes were creepy as hell. They were those eyes that you see lighting up in the darkness of the woods in a scary movie.... More like a thriller. She sure watched quite a bit of those in the real world... Creeped her out a whole a lot. And while she was screaming, her friends always laughed at how easily Kasier was scared and how pathetic she looked when she was creeped out. It was all banter really... A good laugh... And now, her friends were all dead. Kasier sighed, relieving herself of the bad memories before walking up to Cygnus and attempting to heal him. This time, unlike her previous attempts, she was unable to fully activate her skill, completely failing the fail. This is pathetic. She thought in frustration. "Sorry... Looks like I couldn't heal." She said, walking back to the original spot that she was eating her bread in.

I planned on using Eruption to finish the boars, but I did the math and they would still have a few hit points left. So the quicker route would be to wait for one more post, then I can use Lightning on the second post and that should kill them all. Sorry this is taking so long. I should have suggested we wait three posts for my Energy to recover before combat. lol

Cygnus held his ground, deftly parrying blow after blow from the boars. He was getting much better at this battle. That much was clear. He looked behind him at Kasier. She had apologized for not being able to heal him. He said nothing at first, only smiling and giving her a thumbs up. "You've helped a lot already. I'd be even closer to the yellow if not for your healing. You're doing great." He gave her a mini pep talk, then kept an eye on the boars. It was almost time to end this. And he knew just the way to do it. He thought about using his Sword Art, Eruption, but he wanted something flashier. Something to entertain Kasier, maybe. It did more damage too, so that would help for sure. He looked at his energy bar. He could use it soon...

Kasier knew that the man was going to take a break from the combat once more. It appeared that he had already healed quite a bit of energy but for some reason he was still not attacking. Perhaps he was waiting to have enough energy for a really powerful attack like the one he did earlier on when he absolutely destroyed a few boars and split the materials. Sure, Kasier didn't mind the time that she had to wait. It wasn't as if she had anything to do anyway. She always did her crafting at night and it was still a couple of hours away. Hence, she decided that she was just going to wait there patiently. Heck, Cygnus's attack might be a splendid sight when he defeats the boars with a sword art. At the moment, Kasier did not have a single skill point invested in her weapon and hence, she has no damage... Well... One. But it really wasn't enough from any aspect looking at it. She wasn't going to attack. Instead, she would just once more attempt to heal the brown-haired man who was standing bravely to protect her from the boars. Kasier smiled, walking up behind the man and placing her hands once more on his back before starting to speak once more, "Alright... Let's see if I can heal this time." She placed her hand and watched it glow as she attempted to recover some health for the man. In the end, the glow suddenly disappeared, signaling that she had failed once more. With a sigh, she walked back to her safety far behind the man.

Cygnus parried and blocked the blows from the boars. His energy inched higher and higher until it was almost full again. He was getting ready to pull out his Sword Art and put an end to this battle. He kept a close eye on his health, noting that Kasier was unable to heal him this time.That was fine. His life wasn't in any real danger and as long as his Sword Art hit its mark, he and Kasier would be okay and they could get out of here. He had his Accuracy trinket, so he would probably be okay. Still, there was always the chance for a random screw up.

Kasier sighed in relief when she realized that the boars had once more missed the target. If the man had been hurt and she was unable to heal, then she would've definitely blamed herself on her inability to inflict any serious healing. That was her job and she was not doing it very well. Sure, she was becoming rather frustrated with the situation but the fact that she still had a lot of room for improvement sure did calm her down a bit. She knew that at her level, it wasn't uncommon for her to be failing this much. So, as she gets more equipment and better healing, she would be able to complete her job a lot more efficiently than she was able to do at the moment. As long as she continues to go on and level up... It's going to be no time that she becomes a good healer that can help keep people alive in the front lines or in the lower floors. She will be able to help those who are in need... There was no doubt about it. Even if she never reaches the front lines, she'll always be getting stronger and helping others. That is her goal in this game... There were too much death and sadness already, not only in this game but also in real life. Someone has to change it... One action leads to a ripple effect. Kasier will change the world. That is her goal. For now, though, she's having quite a bit of trouble with trying to heal Cygnus. Once more, she walked up to the man, attempted a heal and failed completely once more. "Geez... I guess it can't be helped."

Cygnus weaved through the boars, dodging their tusks. His Energy was fully restored. It was time for a Sword Art. He turned back around to face the boars. With a roar, the warrior lunged at the group of enemies and passed right through, quickly unleashing his sword Art, Lightning. Cygnus delivered four slashes distributerd amoing the mobs, causing them to explode in a rain of blue pixels. Cygnus turned to Kasier, shouldering his weapon and giving her a grin. "Phew there we go. That was a brisk battle." He frowned, realizing how long they had been there. "Oh, i'm sorry. It doesn't seem like we'll get to have lunch today."
