[Sp-F1] Killing wolves

Recommended Posts

Itzal tried hard to watch it's movements but he could not focus hard enough with the pressure he felt from the constant strikes the warg released on him.  Over and over again it's claw barely missed Itzal, and he knew that if this kept up he would run out of stamina before the warg.  Every time the fight grew closer to the ring of wolves they'd growl and prepare to strike when he got too close, so he would make a desperate and risky move of trying to run, leap or slide past the warg, so as to get closer to the center.  When he did it again he managed to recall his sword and swung it at the warg's belly, causing it to howl in pain.  It was minimal damage however and did almost nothing but make it angry that Itzal was the first to land a hit.

Itzal jumped into the air as the warg charged behind.  Because it didn't know where Itzal was it could not adjust it's course to hit in the air, and ended up running into the wall, causing the wolves to scatter in that particular area, but managed to keep the circle intact.  Itzal landed and slashed at the warg's leg before dashing to the other end for cover.  The warg pulled itself away and roared in anger.  Itzal realized something though.  Most opponent's in this game prefer honorable rather than cowardly evasive maneuvers that he preformed.  Wolves however, use this method as well so they could not object to his moves, and therefore would honor the warg's promise...  Hopefully.

Itzal saw the warg's weakness at last.  It was fast but it had a blind spot.  If it couldn't see him then it couldn't strike him with accuracy.  He waited for the warg to charge and jumped onto it's back, and grabbed hold with his left hand, holding on for dear life as the creature bucked, trying to get him off.  Itzal had to strike him while he could and charged vertical arc and struck with ferocity into the warg's back, causing a critical strike and bleeding on the warg.  He prepared to let go before the warg decided to roll on it's back in efforts to remove him.

Before he could jump however, the warg slammed it's back into the nearby wall.  He jumped in time to avoid getting crushed, but his leg did get injured and he fell to the ground.  The nearby wolves seemed to be really wanting to rip him to shreds but were giving him a chance to return to the ring.  As Itzal pulled himself up, trying his best to stand on his right leg since his left caused him pain, he watched Velnia trying to distract the warg.  And watched helplessly when it swatted her away, watching her shatter into nothing from the blow.  Did.  Did that just happen?  He could even feel Ulises' shock as well, and while Itzal began spiraling into pain and sorrow at her loss, Ulises took control, pure rage filling the body.  Ulises ignored the injured leg and stranded straight with Retributor in hand.

"Time to die you beast!"  As he charged, the warg's bleeding effect kicked in.  It's eyes widened in horror as it realized just what it unleashed.  Ulises and Itzal both roared out loud, Ulises in rage and Itzal in pain.  Ulises unleashed vertical arc and continued to strike even after that.  When the warg shattered Ulises proceeded to chop at every shard that fell.  When none remained he turned his hateful gaze to the wolves, who were nervous but held their ground.  He was about to charge when Itzal grabbed Ulises, forcing him back to his domain.  He dropped the sword for a moment.  There was silence.

"Please...  Keep your promise...  I want this foolish bloodshed...  To end."  After that he accepted the loot fallen by the warg, Itzal and walked away.
