[PP-NK-F1] Fairytale (Itzal)

Recommended Posts

Yah, Fynn had left the gates of town a few times. A few times in search of inspiration. This game-even only staying on floor one- was full of inspiration everywhere you looked. Fynn enjoyed walking through the town as he drew or wrote in notebooks, watching as skillful knights exited on an adventure. As young children waltzed around happily. As people sat lonely on benches with cloaks covering there faces, hiding in the shadows. Hiding from there past. Sometimes, Fynn wished he could be like the kids he saw each day. Running around all day with no troubles, no bother, nothing to bring down his pride. And sometimes Fynn acted like a kid. But it wasn't quite like the experience as actual kids have it. These kids- They have far greater inspirational and imaginational flows. That was part of what Fynn was hoping when he began to act more childish. He wanted to have more of an imaginative mind. This may have given him a few ideas, but mostly it took the stress out of his life. Playing with kids every once in a while seemed to do that. And in this world, the world of the Sword Artists, there's not much you had to do. You did not have to get a job. You don't have to eat. You don't have to drink. You could do whatever you wanted, whenever you wanted.

But something about this day in time felt strange. A creepy feeling filled Fynn. It wasn't exactly creepy, but something his body wasn't used to. It could have been something as simple as a eeriness in the wind, or the feeling of someone following him. Fynn sat on a bench and pulled out his dagger. He had killed a boar or two, but he hadn't fought monsters much yet. He wanted to make sure he got everything he could enjoy from this town before it was too late, and Fynn figured if he could find his brother anywhere, this would probably be his best bet, the biggest city in Aincrad. Fynn stared into the distance, watching another armored man leave through the gates, alongside a weaker looking person carrying a sword, but nothing else.

Across the street from the beginner player, there was a Japanese restaurant.  Inside Itzal sat at a table and flagged the waitress down.  She held up a finger with a smile to indicate she would be with him in a moment.  Itzal smiled and nodded back to her with a friendly smile of his own.  It was a busy day today and that was why he came here.  He had heard about random quests that would generate over time and he figured that he could pick up one or two in a busy day.  Surrounded by hundreds of npcs he closed his eyes and sorted out the conversations.

Alisa, his apprentice, wasn't with him today.  Jonathan had asked if he could take her on a quest and he agreed as long as she didn't fight anything over her own level.  Since she left for the trip he was surprisingly bored.  He would of course find Velnia again, but until then he and Ulises didn't have company, which they had grown to enjoy.  He returned his focus to detecting a quest but discovered nothing.  When he opened his eyes he noticed a player outside.  He seemed to be a teenager and was obviously a beginner.  Itzal smiled to him, hoping he could find some company after all.  He was glad he wasn't wearing Niger Natio and instead wore his deep purple trench coat.

OOC- sorry for crappy post I was on phone
