She mumbled lightly, "It's not your fault...."... The snow started to fall heavier, and the setting sun made it glisten beautifully as it fell onto the ground, slowly piling up. She must have stood their for a while, holding him and letting him get it all out of his system. It took a while, because it was nearly nighttime by the time they finally had to go. The snow was getting really heavy and it was starting to become freezing. He had let out almost all of his tears at this point but..it was odd to see someone so defeated like that...she was just glad she was able to comfort him and be there for him.
