When the king saw his troops retreating he yelled at them to get back in formation. Itzal shook his head. "You're no king. A king would not sacrifice his men so willingly." The elvish king lashed out at Itzal with a roar, but Itzal dodged the blow and stabbed the man in the back as he passed by. The king stopped moving and fell to his knees. He muttered something, probably cursing Itzal, before he shattered to nothing. Any warrior who had not run away yet, or hadn't died saw their king's death and dropped their weapons, placing their hands behind their heads and dropping to their knees. The trees walked over to talk with the soldiers and one came to Itzal. After all that was over Itzal began walking over to Opal. Little did he know that this would be the last time he'd be seeing her. If he had known, he would have asked her for more time to just enjoy the day with her. Not many took the time to do that anymore, and he'd like her to have that moment before she left this earth...
