[PP-F4] Man's Best Friend

Recommended Posts

Chiana twisted within the bed of the inn room, it was a wondrous night sleeping with another woman who had enjoyed your company for the previous day. Despite the failure of the girl's quest Chiana still felt entitlement to ask a favor of her. Rolling over to face the girl now Chiana smirked, her fingers dancing over the top of the covers as she now rested her soft silky hand against Hakai's skin. She gently caressed her cheek till a gentle tap would hopefully attempt to wake her from her slumber. Perhaps it was best to let sleeping dogs lie, but Hakai felt like the type you could slowly teach the new tricks. The well endowed woman slowly slid off still dressed in her usual gear as their was no need to clean off. Now she sat upright in the bed her full height still towering compared to Hakai as she reached over to slowly massage her shoulder. "Another day and I am still here," she chucked each day she expected to not wake up just passing on from this life to the next. "Rise and shine time for you to help me search for my wolf."

Hakai smirked as she felt Chiana's hand brush her cheek gently. It had certainly been an entertaining and enjoyable night, certainly very different from what she usually experienced. She got out of the bed slowly, still smirking a little bit. She doubted that this would be a lasting relationship, but she'd enjoy it while she could. She glanced over at Chiana and almost immediately got the urge to pull her back into the bed, but resisted. They both had things to do. Hakai needed skill points and Chiana wanted her familiar, or so it seemed. It sounded as though Chiana wanted a wolf, which was a bit unoriginal, but to each their own. She opened her inventory and changed into her more casual clothing, not expecting that they would be doing any fighting or anything like that. She smiled to Chiana. "Lets get moving then."

Chiana glanced back over her shoulder both hands already attempting to tame her mane as they combed the silver hair over from behind her back to in front of both shoulders. "Very well, got to get something done after all. I don't know if a wolf is truly the best companion as they will be questioning my ability as the alpha. Though nothing else is quite as fierce as the wolf. Suppose it would be a good damage familiar wouldn't you agree?" Chiana asked genuinely curious in what Hakai thought about her choices. Despite her wisdom that came with age, video games were still the specialty of those younger than herself as she was still just learning the basic mechanics. She needed gear and the like to hopefully make this more successful which was difficult for a woman who was to bored to material gather or hunt for col. Perhaps their were some simpler jobs that Hakai could lead her to after all this was done. "I must admit I didn't expect last night to be so entertaining."

Hakai didnt comment on Chiana voicing how she hadn't expect the night to have gone. Instead she went straight to talking about builds. "Everyone has a wolf, but if thats what you want you should go for it. Dont let other people impact your decision. And wolves are fierce, so you want be lacking in the damage department." She explained, pulling her boots on quickly before motioning to the door. "Im ready to go when you are. Unless, of course, youd rather stay here for another hour or so." She offered with a smirk, knowing that they didn't have time for delays like that. She smiled. She wasnt looking forward to going on this quest again, especially not when it was for herself, but she felt kind of like she owed Chiana for helping her out, even if they had, eventually, failed to complete the quest. She sincerely hoped that Chiana would be able to get her familiar the first time round, unlike herself.

"I suppose you are right, canine are quite loyal and ferocious the only issue is I want something that matches me. I have been thinking about a buzzard or a hawk I suppose it all really depends on which one we come across and which one bends to my will first." The woman spoke solemnly now reaching her hand toward her back gripping the ax by the handle with a firm grip. Her fist clenched tightly as she strolled forward her feet crunching down into the snow.  As she trudged forward she groaned and nodded, this quest has an issue with it making it far too difficult for those who are new to the quest. "I doubt you have any equipment that would give a boost to searching do you?" It would have been wise for her to ask about this before she tried her luck at this quest. perhaps it was just a matter of being extremely lucky though. Perhaps she would have some. "Anyway I really need materials as well so perhaps along our journey we could keep an eye out for some."

As she commented her gaze scanned over the surroundings already keeping a keen eye out when they were just departing the town. As they walk she sighed seeing nothing but the white snow ahead of them.

Hakai smiled to her and pulled out a pair of earrings and a golden wristband. "You can use these. I need them back when we're done though." She explained. following Chiana out of the town. Maybe they could gather some materials or do some fighting while they waited. Whatever happened she hoped that at the very least the two of them would have luck finding her a familiar, just so that they could be done with this dumb quest. Hakai was already planning on taking the quest with another group who she felt would be able to help her find her familiar with more success than she had had recently. She frowned. "We might as well look for some materials while we go. I definitely agree." She stated while glancing around, even though she wasnt even really looking for any materials. She was already incredibly bored.

Chiana looked down to the earrings and wrist bands smiling, they were quite gorgeous and frankly effective for this mission she needed all the assistance in searching and detecting the creatures she sought out. As she looked them over she stopped in her tracks now equipping both the wrist band and earrings as she looked back to Hakai with a rather sassy. "Don't you think I just look gorgeous with both of these, maybe you should help me find more equipment after this if only I was able to afford them." A brief wink and twirl in the new gear would reveal how appreciative she was taking this time just to fashion it across her own body. It wasn't every day that you were offered equipment by a stronger player without any costs, of course she could always demand something from her which she wouldn't be against. She was indebted if she managed to find a wolf or maybe a hawk. Both were really a best friend to her if one or the other would reveal their true strength. As she glanced up she heard the call of the hawk. A few meters ahead through were wolf tracks. "I suppose it depends on which we find first."

Hakai smiled to her. She looked really good with the jewlery on, but there was absolutely no way that Hakai was about to let her keep them, regardless of how good she looked. She needed that equipment for when she eventually went and got her familiar. "Its up to you of course." She said with a wink as she leaned in and nuzzled Chiana gently before taking a few steps away and smirking. "We should get moving then, who knows how long this is going to take." She stated, glancing around as she heard the cry of the hawk. She smiled. "Well, that sounds like one of the familiars you want." She then noticed the tracks in the snow. She didn't point them out though as they were quite obvious and she doubted that Chiana could possibly miss them. "The sooner we finish this the sooner we can go somewhere warm... And private." She added on at the last second with a mischievous smile. She very obviously wanted a repeat performance of the night before.

As she heard Hakai's remark about the Hawk cry she nodded in agreement now contemplating whether they  would be in the same direction. Probably not if the Hawk knew what was best for it. "Let's go this way I have a hunch about where that bird is going," feeling the gentle nudge reminded her of how the night was before and she laughed now partially nudging Hakai's shoulder. "Good things come to those who wait darling, besides I'm not ready to settled down with you and these are starting to feel like dates. I thought you were taken or something anyway by the way you moved last night you obviously aren't knew to all the steps to this dance." Chiana would let that linger as an inquiry that may or may not ever be answered as she imagined people preferred to be secretive about their relationships in order to protect themselves and the spouse when the began rise through the ranks and put targets upon their backs. As she strolled forward once more she seemed to be co completely uninterested now in Hakai as if she was map that had already been explored.

Hakai frowned. It seemed as though that ship had already set sail. Still, it had been fun while it lasted. "You dont need to worry about that. I'm not looking to settle down with anyone." She stated, following along behind the overconfident woman. Chiana was acting like she already knew everything interesting there was to know about Hakai, but she was quite far from the truth. Still, Hakai wasn't about to do anything to change her mind. Hakai was fine with that view, it just made her even more dangerous in the long run. She glanced around as they walked, a bit bored. This quest was definately a lot worse than the martial arts one she had taken a while ago. Well, for that one she had had someone who broke the rock for her, and this one you couldnt do anything of the sort. "Just because im experienced doesnt mean that im tied down. It really means the exact opposite of that. I dont try for lasting relationships with all of the stuff that goes down in this game."

Chiana's hips continued to rock to and fro, her ear open to whatever Hakai intended to impart this time upon her. As they walked she glanced back with another devious grin, "Huh maybe I was wrong about you maybe I will just have to give you another try once we finish this off. Let's try to make this interesting thought before we both die of boredom from this miserable quest we both say one thing we normally wouldn't talk about with another player and whomever is more shocked has to do the other one's bidding for the next two meet ups or perhaps just tonight when we end back up in the Inn room?" She chuckled as she made the proposition honestly she didn't care if she went into debt or the like with another player it kept her life interesting in that way always leaving open new options to suddenly throw a monkey wrench into her already mucked up plans. "I'll go first, I doubt you would be surprised to hear that I was an addict before this game and even for the majority of the beginning of it. But what people don't realize is that I probably only have a year to live. What about you?"
