With what he had, he felt like was ready to take on his next opponents. They were to be taken down on his own, and he did not plan to just aim for one of them. It was going to be an endurance contest to see how long he can survive. Why did he plan to do this? Simply because he wanted to obtain a bit of the loot, upgrade his things, get himself enough Col to afford a house, and things of that nature. Of course, he was going to be on the hunt for things such as treasure chest as well, since those provided a lot of things as well. Why did he choose the first floor specifically? There were plenty of enemies around to mess with and gain the loot from. His Battle Healing was making sure to keep him alive, so he'll rampage through the nests of NPC monster bosses if he so felt like it. It was a stupid idea for sure, but it was not too unrealistic to pull off. Just as long as he sometimes took a break to regain his energy and catch his breath, he should be just fine. Results may vary, naturally. But Sey wanted to learn ho to become independent and master as many fields as he possibly could. So with this in mind, he would mentally prepare himself as he resided outside of the safe zone.

His equipment was the best that he felt he could get in order to carry on in the game with a decent amount of power. There was enough defense to defend from the blows that he could possibly take from the incoming enemies. And since he brought himself a bit higher in the game by increasing his damage and learning a few more Sword Arts, he felt a lot more prepared for the battle to come. First, he just wanted to mess with one of the enemies, see how far it would get him. It was a little warm up, nothing too special. But soon, he was going to advance a bit further and take on a few more boars. Four was his goal since he had some effects to hold some of them down with attacks that do a bit more than one strike. The goal was to sweep up the floor cleanly. His Assault spear of Memorilia had been placed in his right hand, the body armor of Memorilia was equipped above his chest. As a result of this, he would begin to venture out into the fields once more, prepared to take on the enemy boars that were waiting for him out in the fields.

So he would venture off into the fields without a single doubt, waiting for one of the boars to try to attack him from behind like they did. NPCs that just spawned were always the same. Their movement and their actions could be easily predicted. So when one arrived, if someone had been fighting long enough, they could tell what the enemy was going to be doing and what they could do to prevent was happens next. The heavy stomps of one of them coming from behind would trigger a small smile from the player as he turned around. And sure enough, it was a boar that was looking to inflict harm upon him. But it was quite a way away, they were able to sense the players from quite the distance it seemed, which usually helped them get those who were none too familiar with the boars. Unfortunately for the one approaching, that was not the case with Sey at all. It was quite the opposite in fact.

Incoming boar attack, it was nearing him before it then tried to sweep him off of his feet by using it's tusks. However, it was far too late on the draw as the tusks would end up meeting nothing by the air of the fields as the snow-haired player would leap towards the side. It was a casual dodge, one long coming as well. In return, he was ready to try out one of the strongest moves he had at his disposal, the new signature that replaced maiming blow for being the strongest thing to hit a target. The spear once again coated itself in blue light, but his body felt no urge to aim for the legs of the creature anymore. Instead, he would move out forward to lash out one hard-hitting spear with strength that nearly jerked his own feet off of the ground. It was a successful strike to the body of the boar, and the damage inflicted onto it was clearly severe as it was forced to roll to the side mightily. It seems like his skills were really useful for this fight.

The boar seemed rather dazed from the sudden hit that seemingly came out from nowhere. This was honestly just too fun for Sey already. One hit in, and the boar was reduced to nearly half of it's health. At this rate, he'd need a couple more strikes in order to finish it off. Of course, this was with his full energy though. Still, the amount of damage he was able to inflict onto an opponent was astonishing, this was something he needed to use more often. Hopefully he could continue to conserve his energy, but he did not feel any doubts about that right now. These were just boars at the end of the day, it's not like there it much they can do. "Come on, piggy! Let's continue our dance!" Sey would challenge as he would stab it once again with the previous Sword Art used, but this time not letting it stun him since he knew what to expect with his strength. And once again, it would roll on the grass as it was sent away with a mighty amount of force. This was a growing character.

One must be careful when they take an approach to a boar, when it was wounded to the point in which they had hit the red zone, one knows better than to strike it without letting it return some damage. Those who are not braced for the damage were destined to have a nightmare of a time before they get hit. Sometimes, this might even kill a player in the process as well. With this, he would refrain from attacking until until he found a good moment to do so. It was a bad move to start off and try to finish it as recklessly as he had been trying to. Yes, he had better things, but that did not give him any right to just strike it and expect nothing to happen in return. The game refused to work that way as he noticed in the past. So he would just wait to restore his energy a little bit.

For being patient, he would finally find the opening that he had been looking for in a matter of time, being able to end the battle quickly as he would trigger his own ability once more. As a result, he would pierce the blade of the assault spear forward with a smile on his face as it knocked against the boar. Of course, it would shove it's tusks at him as well, hitting him in the process. But how much damage can that really do to him in all honesty? With that out of the way, the NPC boar would shatter to pieces of data, leaving in a loot drop for him to collect as well. It would no longer exist, and he ended up earning a good sum on Col in the process. That was just one enemy, so the profit was going to be extremely good. However, his energy was beginning to enter a zone that he would not prefer to enter. So he decided it was a better idea to just rest for a little bit. Perhaps he should look for some materials.

So he would continue to walk around the lands to see if there were any materials to collect from the world, seeing what goods they could bring to him. However, unfortunately for him, no results were brought up. Nothing even close. Nothing but land and grass. It was a stupid idea after all, he was just not yet good enough to search for things to help around the game yet. Fighting was the field he trained himself to be the best at, it was in his best interests to remain focused on that only. So instead, he'd just look for another boar in the meantime. Perhaps even a nest of them depending on the situation. Hopefully they were all prepared for him to strike, and with the battlehealing ability on his being, he should be just fine. And so the march on would continue. While it was a little disappointing that he find no materials, he was able to find a little pack of boars out in the very far distance.

The smart move would be to wait a little bit and prevent himself from getting too close until he had a good amount of energy that he could fight them with. In doing so, he could tes out the new area attacks he obtained through the little upgrade he had. Of course, damage was not so much a problem, considering his body armor being able to take a good amount of damage, followed by a battlehealing effect. So his concern was not dying, but it was just simply running out of energy and not being able to finish the battle quickly. Still though, there was plenty of sweet loot for him to obtain, and he could just plan out his attacks carefully to prevent anything bad from happening to him. With this, he would place his spear forward as he marched towards them, but not charged. By the time he got there, he hoped to have the energy he needed to take them all on at once. He was keeping the bees nest.

There looked to be four of them, which was just the amount he needed to work with. They all inflicted a heavy amount of damage, surely. But that does not mean that they could beat him without a fight. this was more fair in all honesty, but they still did not have much of a chance. Was this floor below him? In a way, it kind of is. But that does not mean he was quite yet ready for the world outside of the first floor on his own. He was climbing to know what was within his level and what was not. With this in mind, he'd smile as he would approach them, nearly ready to get their attention. The energy was just about full anyways, and it was about to be used all over again. It would only be a matter of time before the distance gap between them would be far too small to not notice, and that is when they would fight. Hopefully he could get the advantage early, that would be a huge assist for his favor.

The boars would recognize him all of a sudden, turning around and launching their bodies all towards him at the same time. they were scattered and had no sort of pattern, making them all painfully predictable in the process. But they were enemies regardless, and he could not quite get the element of surprise thanks to the numbers that kept all of them aware of things surrounding them. It was time to fight though, and he was refusing to back down from a fight. Placing out the spear, he would move along in rhythm of their attacks. Their tusks would move quickly, trying to push him or impale him like they usually did. But they all attacked from the front, so all he had to do was constantly move back and away from the attacks to avoid all of them successfully. Not a single bit of damage would be taken from the exchange, but he was not able to inflict any either due to the lack of chances of doing so.

All right, so it was obvious that he triggered the boars to the point of no return. Usually, an enemy had some form of nasty end lag whenever they try to hit but fail. This lag was what a player could use to take advantage of the enemy and strike them at that sudden moment, ending that battle exchange quickly with a strike while the end lag was there. But if four of them were there, that meant that if they all attacked individually, they could cover up for each others end lag. So none of them wanted to give him room to breathe. There was literally no opening they could exploit as long as they kept up the stupid annoying rhythm that they did. Perhaps he might have overestimated his ability, but it was far too late to turn back now. So he just had to wait for one of them to mess up.

Success! He was able to see one of them stumble a little bit, and he would take that chance to instantly slash at it. He was not able to get a blow that would heavily wound them, so he would rather not waste a sword art on doing something like that. the damage needed to be balanced anyways, so the targets that he chooses would be rather random, just so that he could keep them as even as he could for the area attacks to finish them off. If he was able to do this, he could obtain a lot of loot at the same time. The worst case scenario would to not obtain any at all, which would be rather unfortunate since he was really looking forward to having that sort of thing. Oh well, it was not the biggest problem he had anyways. Besides, he landed the strike without getting hit in the process, and that alone was a blissful start to the fight on it's own. So with that, he'd just back and away from the four before continuing the battle.

It was an eye for an eye apparently. One of them seemed to be smart enough to take a different path and instead of attacking from the front, they would go to the side instead. As a result, since Sey was unfortunately so used to routine, he'd take severe knockback with a headbutt from the side, hitting his hip with succession as he would end up taking a critical hit, the red sign appearing above his head. And with one came them all, as they would take advantage and ram him consistently, one time per boar before finally given the chance to move again. But instead of retaliating, he would just move back and away from them. Luckily, his skin began to patch itself back up together with little to no effort so it seemed. They all got a good swing at each other, this battle was going to be a lot longer than he expected. Until they leave a brutal opening for him to take advantage of, they were just going to etch at each others health bars until he eventually won. That was just a waste of time.

There is a common saying that one might have heard or not. It was not too commonly said. If Sey remembered right, it went along the lines of, "Luck is always a part of battle. Skill is only most of it, but honestly, I think it does have a place in the heart of a battle." This came from a video game, so perhaps the same logic applied here. If there was some form of luck system, then it was not in his favor, for he felt no urge to slice as they continued their barrage. None of them came remotely close, but each of their jumps to lash at him threatened to do something to him. Therefore, he did not want to take his chances and strike back at them. This battle was not going the way he expected. He was neither winning nor losing, he was just taking up space unfortunately... And chances were not looking too fortunate for him right now. He'd rather move out of the scene and plan a bit, but that was hardly an option either.

Each nearing boar that took their shot would near a downfall for one of them. Their strikes were getting too close though, so they were both gaining and losing ground at the same time. It got to a point where Sey had to reset it, jumping up on top of one of their heads before leaping over the four of them. Sadly, he did nothing like any graceful flips or anything. If anything, he even had to bend a little bit upon his landing before jumping forward. This created a little more distance between the lot of them, but that was just it. He was able to avoid them getting too close, but he could only have so many lucky breaks before they could catch onto what he was doing, then punishing him mightily for it as well. The game was interesting, the battle mechanics had the monsters learn as they were in combat. So the longer they were in a fight, the stronger they became. They could be boss monsters if they took too long.

The little dance between the two groups was something that one might have noticed when put in comparison. ONe was defending and waiting to counter. One was constantly attacking with an onslaught. As a result, both sides have planned out their tactics and learn to make new ones. But if one of them was willing to sacrifice, could they possibly make it out alive with a lot of wounds on their body? That was something Sey wanted to experiment, give up the whole defending gimmick and fight the boars the best he can with the amount of energy he had. If he ran out, he'd stall surely, but his body should be able to take the hits. So what exactly was the big deal again? As a result, he sliced through one of the boars without any hesitation, not caring which one he hit. And they all punished him for it as well, each of them striking with their tusks. But that was about it, there was nothing else, and he didn't feel much pain.

Eye for an eye. A tusk to a spear blade. They were just about all the same in all honesty, the boars just about could hit him since they were in the center. But he would not take the knockback, refusing to let the pain get to him or to feel it. At the end of the day, it was an illusion, just like their damage, just like the health bar, just like his strength, and just like his game. He knew he could take a hit, it was something he just had to practice and perform at mastery, so not a single skip could be missed in his step. So he would declare an attack onto another random boar, a simple stab to the back as he took the impact of their tusks. While he clenched his teeth from their tusks trying to cut through his health bar, that came to no avail as he would inflict an okay amount of damage onto one of the boars. As a result, they were flinching a tiny amount now since the damage was beginning to stack. It seems like he had hit it before.

Somehow though, as he was gaining more time within the circle that the NPCs made, they slowy gaining predictability, which was an aspect he had yet to see from the game as of this point. For one thing, they all attack one at a time, rather than a unit. It was as if they could harm each other if they were to strike at the same time and fail. So when one of them lashed out, the other would move out of the way and then strike when the previous one had finished. This was his chance, he could see them all in his line of sight. He'd raise the spear up, spinning it wildly as he triggered his first area attack to send all of the boars flying away from him. Tribal Fury. With this, each boar that tried to strike would meet with his spear instead, slamming them to the ground with a great amount of damage being dealt in the process. In the end, they were all grounded for the moment, giving him some breathing room.

A small smile full of self-confidence would reveal on his face when he looked towards them. The damage was obviously severe, the new Sword Art he learned inflicted a heavy amount of damage. He was glad that he finally learned how to survive, and perhaps he was finally above this floor after all. The town of beginnings no longer seemed proper anymore. Still though, if the loot here was promising, he'd be more than glad to stick around and clean up. The boars would charge at him once again, most likely to avenge themselves for what they had just gone through. One at a time though, so they would each get in their little hits before he sent them all away when they came too close, using Tribal Fury once again. The spinning spear was rather wild, he could feel his arm just barely holding on, but that was minimal compared to the virtual hit that the enemy health bars had to take in the process.
