More materials needed to be gathered, and Sey figured that it was about time that he did something for himself. Byt the time he was done with all of the gathering, he was going to have buckets upon buckets of things in order to make good meals with. He missed the kitchen and could become a good chef by now if he did not wait so long. Unfortunately, that was not reality thanks to how costly the materials ended up being. So Sey made sure to rise up in the morning early enough to have plenty of time to find all sorts of leaves and make use of them. Gatherer was also active, and so he would be able to quickly get the materials in huge glomps. By this point in time though, they were not so huge, as selfish as it was to probably say something like that. But for him, truer words have never been spoken. He needed materials, and he was full well going to get them, whether it be by paying a decent amount of col or by finding them himself, but it will happen.

So he would already embark, knowing with his luck back in the past that he was not going to find anything at first. It was expected since the game did not like to give thins so easily to players, despite how many times he told himself that it did. The creators full well knew what they were doing when they even made the searching on the outside a hard task for the players to carry out. So it was now one mans quest in hoping that the odds would favor him. If a scouting item were to ever be dropped from a boss again, he was going to try to get it. But there was no way to know until someone got it, so maybe his focus should lean more towards trying to get enough col to carry out the task of getting something by negotiating, though they might charge high prices for the items...

And there it was, the first set of herbs on the ground were awaiting his arrival as they would glow on the ground with a shiny amount of light. With this, he would take them before placing them into his inventory, already starting things off on a great foot, but the floor was only beginning. As he continued to press forward through the fields, he would then not that he needed some for a fruit in order to make organic sort of things. Like maybe a healthy shake that could start a morning. Though he was not too sure about banana trees being a common thing here, he might have to buy it from another cook, and they surely were going to charge a heavy price just to make sure that they were not going to lose business to him. Fortunately, Sey knew better than to go there.

However, there was a strawberry field shown out in the distance, and no monsters seemed to be lurking there. Perhaps it was too early for them to be around that area, because they all seemed to be so ripe from the distance. As he would near it at a walking pace he would only notice a few glows rather than a heavy amount of them, only showing that certain ones were good enough to use for his meals. So he would just pluck those particular ones carefully, making sure not to mess up in the process and pick out one that could just harm the meals that he made. With that out of the way, he would then place those small bits of fruit into his inventory, smiling to himself and nodding his head proudly when he saw what he had done, continuing on with the hunt to making his shop run again.

He continued to look through the fields to see if there were any other fruits to take out around there, but when he tried to look, he would only see an NPC monster lurking around and trying to patrol the area. Seems like the little break that players get during the morning was over, and the snow haired player was not at all interested in getting into a fight. His gear was not equipped for the task and nor was his mentality. Heck, he did not even bring a spear with him either, meaning that he was left open for the kill if someone had the strength to oneshot him. It was a longshot for sure, but it was still a shot regardless, and that was why he would rather not get into a fight in the first place. So with this, he would bail out as quickly as he could, successfully escaping before being noticed. And if he was noticed, it was far too late for the monster to do anything.

Now that he got out of there, he needed to focus his sights elsewhere. Fruit seems to be a risky idea that he should not be taking, not if he wanted to live by the end of the day at least. There were going to be herds on this floor, and they attack in numbers. Each of them inflict a high amount of damage anyways, and if they all landed critical hits, it was a near guaranteed death for him. One could never be too high leveled a player when it comes to the monsters. The game had no problems with creating and letting them die off. However, there was the other factor that was brought to mind... If he were to fight on the lower floors, if a herd were to attack, they do nothing. But as the levels progress, they become extreme. The game eventually will have to balance it when Sey gets on... Say... Floor 75? The gear would do so much before...

However, this did leave him with another item left in mind. What was he going to look for next? There were a few leaves and a bit of fruit in his pocket, but that was about it. His luck at finding things right now were definitely poor, even with gatherer active. This was what made him wish he spent a bit more skill points in the scouting part of the build. But he had been told from the first day that it was going to be a lot of hard work to get the balance build he wanted. And that all the players were aiming for one build because it was easier. But he was not like everyone else, he wanted to be himself, and so he would end up placing his hands in his pockets and looking towards the side towards the empty non shiny ground and smile, knowing that it was all just part of the game.

Fortunately, his bad luck was not running for too long as his item would help him get a few more materials for him to gather and pick up. With that, he would find a few peanuts that were growing on the branches, all ripe and ready to pluck out. They were going to be great for a classic signature of his, the steamed peanuts that no one asked for. With this done, he would place the material into his inventory and continue to walk the same path he had been going, luring away from the little field of strawberries and instead going off to find a farm. In the real world, he hated country culture, he found it a little bit annoying. But here, he would love it more than anything. But where to find a farm though was the real question... Shoot, he didn't think that too far through.

Looking for a farm should be the next focus for him to obtain. It was a distance away based on the map, so he did not have to try and rush, since it would have served to be fruitless in the end anyways. Placing his hands in his pockets, he would look around to see if there was anything that he could take advantage of in order to take a glance closer at it and possibly get any materials. But such a thought would only be a wonderful fantasy. It was a hope for many who did not have the same exact things as a scout. With this in mind, he would then notice that nothing that he was doing was going to make anything appear any faster, much to his disappointment. So he would carry on in search for the farm, hoping to prove himself wrong in the long run. Besides, it was not too far from here if he placed his mind off of it anyways.

The best part of the game was that out in the open world away from the safe zone, nothing really belonged to anyone. Not according to the system that guards it. And this meant that he was able to go to a farm and it was public for anyone. Controlled herds and that sort of thing were existence, but they belonged to no one. As long as they were treated well, they would no viciously attack the ones who end up on one end of the spectrum. "Hm, seems like the farm is there. Hopefully I can use my zero experience to get some materials from there." Sey would confidently tell himself as he paced his way over towards that direction slowly, in case there happened to be a stray NPC monster or possibly a player around that was waiting to go for the kill on his life. Fortunately for him though, neither of the two were the case.

He continued to walk through the are to see if he could ever find the farm. However, his disappointment would follow when he found that there were a few monsters walking around. Placing his hand over his mouth, he would look down to the ground to see if there was any way go get past them without a fight. If he could get inside of the borders, he would be guarded by all sorts of NPC monster beings as they were surrounding him. However, that meant he needed to come up with a clever enough plan for him to get past them without fearing much retaliation. This was a bliss fantasy however as one of them turned their heads towards his direction.

So he would try the simple... RUN! Yup, that was the plan. Nothing was better than that, totally not. As long as he did not take any damage from the monsters, he would not be engaged in combat with them. His legs rushed to try and get through the scene, one of the boars arriving as a roadblock. His right palm would hold his weight as he put it against the back of the npc monster, leaping over it quickly before landing, spinning once and carrying out the chase. Soon, a herd of monsters would try to track and chase him down, all to no avail as he would then jump the fence that would prevent the monsters from entering, and the animals were right there, just carrying out their normal duties like good little animals do. Now he could get some natural materials from here.

Seems like he would have a chance at starting, and probably should not be getting out of there for a little bit. It was going to take a bit of time anyways for the monsters to give up on him as they would constantly clash with the fence, none of them being able to jump over it because of how the system was made. This was probably the time where he would thank the cardinal, but he did not. Plain and simple. Placing his eyes onto the animals, he would see what might need to be checked out first, probably the inside of the barn first. Maybe there was an NPC running this thing and willing to help him out. Unfortunately, he did not know a thing about the farming and agriculture... Culture. But it was either that or aimlessly shoot for stars that were not there like he had been trying.

The Npc farmer would be located inside of the farm, seemingly taken care of one of the horses that were being held inside of the... Hm, there as no proper word for him to even use for it, now was there. Well, Sey was not going to bother, as he was just going to ask the farmer if there was anything that he was able to do to help. Placing his hands in his pockets, he would then begin to speak to the man. But upon trying to get some communication going, and HUD screen would pop up in front of him. "Howdy! Take all the materials you need, son. Or just play with the animals, all up to ya partnah. Good luck though with the chicks. They outta teach a lesson or two to any punk that dares mess with them." And it seemed like he had his answers, now he just had to execute the plan.

So he would look around the room to see if there were things already made for him to take. But when he talked to the man, a few glows would end up on the ground as he would notice that there were some eggs that were not going to make it, but they could still make a fresh meal if he cleaned their shell well enough. The game made sure he had the chance to obtain them as well, so he would place his hands down to reach and grab the items before placing them into his inventory, adding a handful of eggs into his inventory. The best part of it was that he did not have to be delicate with them, seeing as they were in his inventory and not somewhere where they could actually break. This was far better than having any form of bag or heavy objects weighing down on them.

The eggs obtained, he needed to get some milk. So he would pick up a bucket and begin to go to the cow where it was just standing there. There were two ways that this could have gone. The first of the ways was that it would kick him so hard that he would be sent flying outside of the fence and he would have to fight all of the NPC monsters that were waiting for him. Or it would be gentle and hold still, allowing the milk to come out. There was only one way to find out. So with two firm but careful grips on the utters, he would kick the bucket below it and gently pull on it, allowing the milk to slowly come out of the cow successfully. The bucket was quickly filled after a few seconds by the system, allowing him natural milk that could last him for a really good amount of time.

The milk was obtained, and now it was time for the cheese! Sey did not know how to make cheese, but he was sure that there was to be some lying around. Eventually, he could make a big sandwich out of what he had, and if he was lucky enough, it would be just fresh for him to put into his inventory. Rather than having cold cheese, everyone can have it melted without anything radioactive getting into their meal. Now that was a dream that everyone would like to have, ah, he could imagine it now. So he would enter back in to see what kind of gadgets there were, only to notice that there was a wheel of cheese left out in the open with a glow, meaning that no one else was using it for the moment. So with that, he would then put the item in his inventory and continue to search.

And there it was, he was now able to make cheese! So he would begin to... Er... Yeah, nevermind. Like heck did he know how to get any cheese out of that thing. For once thing, he did not even know what was used to make cheese, other than milk. Which... Sey was pretty sure was not the only thing used to make it. So he would back off and go back out to the farms outsides to pluck some fruit. And there was definitely a good amount. Nature's waste was a humans meal, which was perfect. And come on, who did not like fruit? So he of course would aim for more strawberries and begin to pluck them from the stems that they were on, because he definitely did not have those already. Oh well, he had plenty of time to get the other items for him shake he was soon going to make.

There was a carrot patch for him as well, which he discovered recently turned out to make a very good item for any shake that involved health. It did not taste the best, but oh man did it have a lot of nutrients behind it. And if not, perhaps if he was ever going to have an accuracy build, that was definitely going to be something that his meals would have. So with that, he would place the lump sum of carrots into his inventory as he would continue to search around for some more fruits and veggies. One thing he needed to locate was the banana tree where he could make the shakes really sweet. And there was one nearby as well, but out in the forests... And like heck was he going to be there without taking all of the good things that the farm had first. They were all needed at the end of the day.

It seems like he was able to get to the bananas anyways though, as he would make a run for it. Nothing else was really needed anyways, and he would make the run for it as the monsters would make the run for him once again, as if they had been waiting for him the whole time. Making a quick bail, he would begin to climb the tree with a few cuts from how hard he pressed against the tree, reducing his health a little bit at a time, but it was not too bad though as he was able to escape their view in doing so. On top of that, he was able to go to the branch where the bananas were located and take out a patch, adding them to his inventory as well. With this done, he would place his palms in his pockets and look back down to the ground, he felt he was ready to go.
