[PP-F12] Snake in My Boot <<Snake Out of Water>>

Recommended Posts

With his breath held for a bit, he would look back up before planning a search for the sea serpent once again, hopefully able to get a little bit more of the task cleared as he would then begin to plot an attack onto it. Naturally, the hunt was what came first. It seemed to slowly be bleeding out mainly due to the damage Beat had been inflicting. Should it not have such high mitigation, it would be a nasty thought to imagine how much damage it would take right now. It goes to show how potent a player can be should thy choose the right path. Sadly, Sey chose quite the unfortunate weapon and not the most damage based build. Still however, it did not mean he was not going to make an attempt anyways, but to no avail as the attack would not even be connecting. Aimless stabs into the water would be pointless, so why even bother with it? It was up to Beat to continue the barrage.

Beatbox had looked down into the water to help Sey spot the creature to make his strike against it, but at this point the creature couldn't be found and taking aimless attacks into the water would be a rather dumb idea if you asked the both of them. Beatbox had sighed behind his mask as he then looked around trying to find the snake, because it hadn't fully attacked either himself or Sey... something was wrong and it surely was playing needless games with both Beatbox and Sey. Needless to say, Beatbox wasn't going to let his guard down, surely if he was fighting a boss he couldn't see. He gripped onto his flashy sword as he tried to listened to the movements of the snake and looked over to spot the scales moving in the background, once it was found Beatbox had run up to strike against it dealing more and more damage towards its downfall.

They were finally able to send it to the yellow zone, progressing way further into the battle with just that hit alone. The damage they could inflict was moderate per strike, but fortunately, there were two of them. Neither of them took a huge hit either, which was a major relief. It did not seem like it was able to fight on the offensive side, but it did evade pretty swiftly as well in the water, and unfortunate obstacle that they have been overcoming. The question was how long were they able to last in that state? Regardless, they were not stopping now as Sey would find the serpent in the water swimming around, his spear being slashed through it's body swiftly in order to get some more damage in, once again lowering the health of the boss monster successfully before then returning back to land to avoid any attacks resulting from backlash.

Time had progressed and it felt like the same things were happening, which had felt like they were going insane doing the same things over and over again. He had sighed, but this was needed to strike down the boss to get the SP thats needed to increase his level and sharpen his DPS capabilities. This being said, he was not going to back down, not for anything... not for anything that may seem repetitive or obsessive. But it still angered Beatbox inside, but managing to hide from behind a mask, however the growls could be heard. Quickly, but surely he had spotted the boss once more as he had dashed forward to strike against the boss with a critical hit dealing a huge chunk of damage, looking quickly at the bosses HP before hiding again that it was in perfect range for a kill.

There was no point in trying any further considering Beatbox was able to end this with one more hit, seeing how badly the health of the monster fell from the last impact. Still however, it seemed that he was going to try anyways as he would lash out towards it, only for the spear to instantly miss it's target. As a result of this, he would end up moving back before anything can be done to him. It was not going to be a good idea anyways, Beat probably had the last part covered. With how swiftly it moved, he was not be surprised if this was once a floor boss or inspired by one. Regardless, it could have been way worse and they could have been on the losing end of it. Having their attacks avoided was nothing too big of a deal compared to possibly dying instead. With that said... It would have been nice to get a hit, but not everything can be obtained.

This snake was proving to be a real issue, even if his next attack was going to be able to kill the poor thing... he still needed to find the creature first... with a sigh, he removed his mask to get some fresh air exposed upon his face to look around for the snake that was lurking in the shadows behind him in the distance. He had tuned into any sound he could hear at all, then with a blink of an eye, he had eventually spotted it one last time "Bingo, was his... nameo." he smiled as his sword had glowed a deep red as he moved forward to strike it down, and with one sword art later... the boss had perished. Beatbox had taken a deep breath and tossed the boss drop to Sey "Keep it, I'm not needing it anytime soon. Catch you on the flip side, take her easy." he winked before walking out in the distance.
