[PP-F4] Smashing a Giant Icicle <<Avalanche>> [Complete]

Recommended Posts

Mars attacked the Ice Elementals using the Sword Art Tornado Kick. Vigilon hoped that he wouldn't overexert himself and deplete all his energy. He looked back to the monsters, their hatred for the players, even, yet split, but the two would be attacked nevertheless. Vigilon prepared himself to attack and evade. He readied his Sword Art, Vertical Square, and unleashed his attack on the enemy. The first and fourth ones were struck normally, the attack missed the second one, and the third one was given some pretty good damage and the status ailment Bleed. The first and fourth ones rushed for Vigilon, but due to them sinking into the snow slightly lower than Vigilon, the attacks were sidestepped. The second one came up behind Vigilon and struck when least expected, causing him to fall into the snow on his back. The third attempted to attack Mars, but tripped and fell into the snow. "This is turning out to be one heck of a day." Vigilon thought.

He watches as the ice elementals move into action as he calmly takes a small step back away from the fight to simply wait for his energy to recover once more. Having wasted most of it in that one attack. With that he just waits and watches while calmly watching the fight play out between the elementals and this Vigilon. Sorry about this vigilon, but it is better for me to wait till i can at least get up to four energy for at the minimum my weakest AOE attack, or if need be a single target attack that can deal a little bit of damage. He calmly says to the player beside him putting on a apologetic tone into his voice that sounds genuine. With that he takes a few steps more back away from the single ice elemental that seems to have something against him. The others seeming more distracted by the other player that is a rather big ally in this since it seems he has much bigger energy pool to use then himself.

So Mars did end up overexerting himself after all. Well, Vigilon might be able to hold them off until then. He looked back at the Ice Elementals. "I sure hope this whole thing doesn't go sour or anything..." He readied his weapon, and prepared himself to attack and evade. He attacked by using the Sword Art Vertical Square yet again, but the first and second Ice Elementals dodged the attack in time. Of course, Vigilon managed to dodge the attacks of all but one. It wasn't a critical hit this time, but his HP was steadily decreasing. This would prove to be a problem if they kept succeeding at striking him. If all four succeeded in attacking him, he would be done for in the next two successful attacks! Upon this realization, his heart began pounding. He wanted to survive this fight, and he would also have to stop by a tailor for some light armor with more mitigation. "Anytime you're ready Mars, these things could kill me should they be accurate in their next several attacks!"

Upon hearing this information he frowns ever so slightly and sees that all the mobs are practically now targeting his partner from what he can see of their looks. He quickly goes over in his head his options of attack, and sighs in frustration at his lack of a complete build to be able to properly handle all of them. He glances over at the four, and sighs knowing he can't allow a possible death on his hands especially not of a user who seems to be actually good at combat. he quickly looks at he four elementals tightens his fists and then sprints over to the four as fast as he is able to move. He dashes towards the fist with a quick alternating jabs that the creature just barely dodges with ease. Seeing the failure their he quickly switches to attacking the last three in alternating patterns which seems to work as each of them take a series of blows to their form dropping their health if ever so slightly. After that he quickly moves back away from the creatures to try and avoid their attacks. Well that is all i got Vigilon in terms of sword arts for awhile. I can only help wittle them down slowly for awhile. I do apologize for this inconvenience as i don't even have the proper gear for the build i am going for at this moment. He says to his comrade.

Vigilon could only hope that he would evade all the attacks that would be coming. "Man, why do I keep forgetting to bring HP restoring items? Well, then again, It's not like I have a ton of Col..." He decided to keep going, and flee if his HP began to drop too low. Vigilon readied himself, and attacked with Vertical Square yet again. The Sword Art was only half successful, however, in terms of targets hit, that is. Vigilon fell face-first into the snow after executing his attack. Two of the enemies tried going for Mars, one of them failing to strike him, the other about to land a hit just before the energy burst from Vigilon's attack depleted it's HP to zero. Now there were three enemies left. As soon as he got up, the loot menu popped up to show what he had received from the defeated monster. "Are you kidding me? Now? The fight's not over yet!" Vigilon shook off the remaining snow, and thought that if Mars would attack again, that he might go for the one with the highest current HP.

He calmly watched the fight unfold before his eyes, but sadly gets no time to truly enjoy the scenery as he quickly backs away from a strike to his body ducking under it, and watches as a attack comes by destroying the other creature that would've caught him off guard. he nods his head in appreciation to the fight beside him as he focuses on another of the creatures that isn't focusing him, and is conventionality the one with the most health also. 'Easy target hopefully i just need to offer the kid time to rest a little bit by taking some hits myself. I want to try and get some good loot from this.' He thinks to himself before rushing that Ice Elemental. he glares at the creature which is hidden by the helmet he wears as his fist impacts the creature as he grins at having the impact. Look over here frosty. If you don't you might blink and miss the moment your life ends. He says in a calm tone of voice, and then quickly backs away from the elemental as he glances towards the two elementals that should now target him instead of his ally during this fight.

Mars had lessened the Ice Elemental's HP, and gotten it's attention in the process. Now was the time to strike again, and evade any incoming attacks. Hopefully, the fight will be over soon, and he could finish it without spending all his energy, which was already getting pretty low. "Let's get this over with." Two of the Ice Elementals started rushing towards Mars, and Vigilon tried using his Sword Art to intercept. Only one Ice Elemental was struck by the attack, at which it's HP depleted to zero. However, the other Ice Elemental, well...Mars definitely got it's attention, but possibly a little too well. The monster struck him fairly hard. The loot menu appeared in front of Vigilon again, and while his attention was on why it appeared in the middle of a fight, the first Ice Elemental attacked him from behind. Things were starting to get rough. His energy was depleting, and he had to find some way to recover his energy soon, and fast!

He watches the ice elemental he attacked starts to come towards him as he quickly tries to dodge out of the way and instead gets hit hard being practically punted away from the fight as he then slowly gets back up to stare at the creature. he then quickly sprints over towards the lower health ice elemental. Vigilon attack the weaker one lets focus our energy on that. Also if possible one should leave the fight to recover quickly, and then jump back in and then let the other jump out to do the same if we want to try and take out both of them. He quickly shouts over to Vigilon trying to say the only strategy he can think would work. He then dashes over towards the first and quickly punches it hard dealing some damage to it as he then backs away from the elemental he just attacked.

Vigilon heard Mars's suggestion for a strategy. Right now, Vigilon could do a number of things. He could use up all his remaining energy to try his weakest AoE attack, which would, at best, deal twelve damage to both Ice Elementals, the damage varying on whether or not the hit was critical or not. He could take no action, but still risk taking damage. There was always the option of using the Sword Art Snake Bite to deal some damage to the weakened target, and also hoping that the recovery enhancements would kick in during the attack. Vigilon decided on the latter. He was only one damage away from killing the monster, which made a failed attempt to retaliate. Vigilon looked at his energy meter, and was upset that recovery didn't kick in. The other Ice Elemental proceeded to attack Mars. Both Players' HP were green, but they would need to finish this fight soon if they are to avoid a possible death.

He watches as one ice elemental is barely keeping itself together and the offer is just standing and barely functioning as is. He looks at the two beings and chooses the very obvious choice on which one to attack. he quickly dashes towards the one with the lowest amount of health intending to end at least one of them which should work as long as nothing stops him that would be absolutely ridiculous. He quickly moves towards the ice elemental, but just as he was about to attack the snow suddenly kicked up blocking his vision momentarily allow the elemental to move just enough out of the way to make him miss from not being able to correct his attack in time. Once he punches the air and goes through where he thought the thing was it he can hear a humm of energy most likely his heavy momentum activating as he glares at the elemental he just missed. Vigilon it's not dead! he calls out. Once more silently cursing that Tailor for taking so long to craft his item.

Mars called out to Vigilon to state that the Ice Elemental wasn't dead. "I can see that." He thought, seeing as his statement was almost stating the obvious. Well, all he could hope now was that he would recover the energy as he made his attacks. He swung his sword at the unsuspecting Ice Elemental, finishing it off. When the loot menu appeared to show what he received from the mob, he believed he was in luck! Although it was tempting to not mention the perfect quality handwraps, he still felt that he would have to discuss the matter with Mars. He was still disappointed at the fact that recovery hadn't kicked in this time either, but at least there was one less headache to worry about now. There was only one left... If vigilon could get help from recovery enough, he could finish the battle with a sword art. "Three down, one to go! The loot this one drops better be as worth the trouble as the one I just killed!"

He just nods his head at seeing the ice elemental be destroyed as he looks over to the last one. He adjusts his stance ever so slightly and bends his knees then quickly takes off towards the last elemental planning to get as much hate from it as possible to try and pull his weight at the very minimum since he had been relatively useless otherwise even though he would not prefer to admit that fact it is just simply the reality of that unfortunate matter. He quickly moves in on the creature and gives it a swift right hook punching down its health once more and making himself the primary target of this creature. With that he quickly backs away from the elemental wondering if this entire fight was worth the trouble at all. If it wasn't then it would be rather saddening to have wasted his items to gain the buffs he had.

One Ice Elemental remained. He just had to keep throwing some typical attacks, hoping his recovery would kick in, and he would be able to use the simple Sword Arts again, thus giving him the firepower to finish the fight. He would need some firepower at some point anyway, if he was to avoid any casualties in this fight. He saw Mars bring the Ice Elemental's HP down a little, and Vigilon doubted that the monster would target him over Mars anytime soon. Well, no time like the present to act reckless, he needed to take this chance to strike. He struck the creature fairly hard, but Vigilon realized that his doubts were wrong, since when the Ice Elemental got back up on it's feet, it glared at Vigilon. The monster tried to retaliate, but Vigilon sidestepped the attack in time. He looked to Mars. "This thing shouldn't be a match for us combined, right?"

He just nods his head at the words of the player that is with him as he gazes at the creature that is matching their strength. Which is a little bit of an annoyance do to the fact it will make this fight slow, but worth it since it will die eventually do to the combined attack power should be enough to kill this thing before it kills them if all goes right. With that he quickly dashes towards the elemental planning to weaken its health once more. he quickly dashes forward and punches the ice elemental with a vicious grin on his face that is hidden by his armored helmet that hides his face. Mars enjoying this fight absolutely immensely and the kinetic feel of his fist hitting another object that is trying to end him, and definitely going to fail by his attacks ending its life. After the attack he sticks close to the elemental circling around it.

This fight was going smooth so far. Wouldn't be long before it was over. Vigilon guessed that it would be dead in just four successful hits. Less than that if he could actually be recovering energy, however. The Ice Elemental looked between both players. Even Vigilon thought it should consider itself doomed. "What are you gonna do now, frosty? You're out of your league here, and we just killed your friends! The same will happen to you if you don't think straight and apply logic and reason!" Who was he kidding? It was a monster with aggro-based AI, how could it have reason, much less logic? Right now, Vigilon wanted to kill this thing, split the total loot, and go home. The Ice Elemental stared at Vigilon blankly, then it went back to glaring at him. "Oh well, then. It's your funeral." His next attack brought the creature's HP down to the red. It attempted to retaliate again, but that's what Vigilon was expecting.

he focuses on his target ignoring the words that his ally is saying as he wonders if he will actually land a hit cause either way for himself it's just a bonus to his damage that should be able to knock it down within a rotation of hits if all goes well. he strikes as hard and fast as he can as the cracks along the ice elemental continue to appear as its health depletes even more as it is left with barely any health left. With that he backs away from it with a grin seeing that the fight will be over soon, and with that hopefully a decent amount of loot to split between the two warriors for the work of taking down four of these creatures after having just defeated the quest boss which is a surprisingly weaker version of just these things. Which makes him curious if they somehow stumbled into a higher leveled area for this floor.

Vigilon was ready to try and end the fight. He couldn't guarantee ending the fight here or anything, but he could definitely attempt to take the thing down. "Won't be long now. Even if I hit it, the attack won't kill it. Nevertheless, we need to kill it before it gets an opportunity to do too much damage..." The Ice Elemental looked between the two players again, not sure who it hated more. Vigilon readied his weapon, and was ready to attack. He rushed for the Ice Elemental and attacked, dealing enough damage for the next hit to be able to kill it. However, the Ice Elemental made a strong retaliation, knocking Vigilon and causing him to fall in the snow on his back. Vigilon looked at his HP. It had dropped to the yellow. "Not good." He thought. "Mars! It's fully weakened! one more hit should do the trick!"

Seeing the enemy get dropped within its health he grins and quickly dashes forward ignoring your words stating the obvious of the enemy being very weakened and needing just a singular hit to end its life. He focuses on the elemental entirely not wanting this one simple attack to miss like the other time he tried finishing off a elemental. He quickly dashes forward and strikes the ice elemental shattering it entirely and ending its life once more. With that the fight is over as he looks over to his ally with a nod of his head. So then we both made it out with our lives even if it was a rocky fight do to energy being a problem for myself. Something i will need to learn to rectify if i wish to continue. He says to you, and then more so to himself at the end. With that he looks to the loot menu and nods his head at the amount he got.

The fight was over, it was finally over... Vigilon now wondered, how would the loot be split? "So, I looted 1540 Col, 2 Materials, a Rare Potion and Perfect Martial Arts Handwraps, all Tier one." When both players knew what each other got from the monsters, Vigilon listed the loot to himself, including the item known as <<Snowfrost>> dropped by Avalanche. "Let's see, that totals all our loot from this trip up to... 1960 Col, 3 Mats, a Rare Potion, Rare Handwraps, Perfect Handwraps, and Snowfrost." Having listed everything, he asked, "How do you think we should split this?" Vigilon believed the hardest thing to deal with would be the perfect Handwraps, seeing that Vigilon intended to make a full switch to Martial Arts, and Mars already had Martial Arts, but not a Perfect Weapon in that skill category. There was some minor anxiety forming, although Vigilon didn't let it show. Who would get the perfect handwraps? Who would get Snowfrost?

He nods his head at that hearing what had been listed off. I got 420 COL, one material, and a rare handwraps nothing spectacular, but still rather nice for what this can provide for our levels i suppose. He says in a calm tone of voice to the player at this side as he looks to the quest rewards seeing some experience points, and the item known as snowfrost as he nods his head at that. For myself from the quest i also got the item known as snowfrost so don't worry about that. Furthermore, i don't care for the unidentified items at all i have requested my gear to be made so it's only amount of time till it's complete and i will have what i need. He tells Vigilon as he goes over what they had received for loot within his mind. The only thing that i care for in terms of our loot is the COL and materials. The potions that i can want will eventually be made by myself since i am a Alchemist. You can take everything else if you want, and i can understand if you want your fair share of the COL. He tells the player with a shrug of his shoulders.
