[F02- PP] Use Your Head «Breaking the Unbreakable» w/ Mars

When Mars' strike went awry Cosi didn’t say anything. It was frustrating enough for him and he was a complete noob at punching rocks and being a martial artists. Mars was a master so missing a strike like that was probably anger inducing and maddening. So all Cosi did was go for another hit. He tried to emulate exactly what he had down last time but his stance must have been off because his punch didn’t connect solidly. Cosi’s first hit at an angle or something and it kind of bounced off the boulder’s surface instead of really doing damage. Cosi winced and flexed his hand. It hadn’t hurt as much as the last time he had messed up but it still was painful. Cosi stepped back and motioned to Mars, “Lookd like I still don’t have the hang of it. Hopefully another example will help with that. Maybe take it a little slower. You’re kind of hard to follow when moving at full speed.” Cosi held his hand as he watched Mars. He had asked that with out any malice or spite. He was very grateful for Mars instruction and help.

He glances towards Cosi and just nods his head with a slight grin glad to at least not have to deal with any remarks form him missing like he would most likely get from Pinball. Especially since the object in question isn't even moving unlike the opponents that they fight on the daily at points he would swear. He gets into a fighting stance and glances towards Cosi. Okay now watch closely. He says towards the blonde haired man before returning his focus back towards the boulder and does his usual technique for punching but in a more practiced motion not going full speed. Moving his arm back to be able to generate enough momentum and force to deal damage, putting his fingers in a position where he won't break his thumb or fingers while doing so. He takes a step forward and than moves his arm forward to strike the boulder head on doing so in a very slow manner to get the full motion fo the body easily shown. After that he takes that step back and does the same thing but at full speed without any warning breaking the boulder and leaving it barely standing together like one could just breathe on it and it would shatter. The last hits are yours and yours only Cosi. He says in a calm and serious tone of voice not planning to help his fellow player beyond this.

Cosi watched intently as Mars demonstrated a couple more times. Mars started by just doing the movements slow and drawn out which was a great deal easier to follow. Cosi watched closely. Then Mars did his attack again at full strength and full speed. The dark clad player moved in a blur and his fist collided with the boulder and nearly shattered it. The rock breaking sounded like a small explosion. The once massive rock was reduced to nearly rubble now. Mars told Cosi that the he wouldn’t help anymore. Cosi would have to finish on his own. Cosi nodded and turned towards the boulder. He took his stance, staggering his feet, pulled back his arm and shoulder, torqued his torso, steeped off with the opposite foot and threw his punch. His fist connected solidly with the rock breaking and sending dust billowing up. Cosi grinned, brought back his fist and then prepared to strike again.

He smirks slightly at seeing the boulder on the verge of breaking the giant piece of rock seemingly already crumbling at he seams ready to give out at a moments notice as the black haired martial artist waits even than to see what will become of the blonde haired fighter's attempt at shattering the thing. With the more important fact being the blonde haired fighter hadn't started wimping out when he had punched the thing, but instead acted like it wasn't anything to do such a feat and continue to put effort into that. 'Good it means he is already improving, and who knows maybe he will take up the route of calrex of having multiple weapons for damage dealing or tanking scenarios like the azure knight has.' he thinks to himself having gotten enough information about the frontlines and their fights to hear of the famous Azure knight who can use a giant axe and martial arts. With the only thing that would take for those to know what occurs their is the fact that somebody always leaks what occurs on the frontlines out to the lower players to keep them informed.

Right after Cosi struck the rock with his right he rebounded and swung with his left, shifting his stance to add more power. Cosi torqued his upper body and swung a left hook at the rock. Cosi thought that the combo of blows was a little ambitious but his fist connected. Not only did it connect but it the rock gave away. Cosi drove his fist at a downward angle and shatter the sole remaining chunk of stone. Dust billowed and rock tumbled around Cosi's feet then they dissolved into purple lines of code and pixels. Cosi grinned widely and turned to Mars, "No sweat." Cosi looked back to the NPC and gestured to his face, "You going to take this off now old man?" The NPC inclined his head slightly and then whipped out a damp handkerchief. The NPC moved forward and then swiped the cloth across the londe haired player's face. The cloth came away blackened with ink. Cosi thanked the NPC and then turned back to Mars, "Alright so that was really painful. I guess we climb back down the mountain and then... well then what do we want to do? I'm still raring to go and we're on a roll. What do you say Mars? One more quest?"
