As Yureka walked the streets of the town of beginnings she felt useless, she had attempted combat quite a few times but always with mixed results and she was becoming nervous of the person she became in combat. sure she liked to seem strong and capable but she felt like if she wen't too far she could hurt somebody. she walked further down the street her blond hair swishing in the slight breeze that always seemed to be present in the town. after a while she stopped seeing a man in a small shop to the side, he must have been an NPC because he didn't give any of the warnings of a player. he smiled as she looked at him and she looked around to see if anybody else was there. "hello there miss how can I help you?" the NPC asked in a friendly tone, "oh i'm .. just looking at stuff, I .. have been feeling like I should be doing something but my combat skills are a bit .. sub-par" she said confidentially to the NPC after making sure nobody was around to hear her. "well it sounds like you need a profession," the NPC stated matter of factly, "you should speak to a master of whatever profession you like and they should be able to show you the basics, there are eight professions to choose from," the NPC rattles off a list of professions and Yureka stops him quickly "wait what does an Artisan do?" she was interested because she had been an art student in college in her real life and she wondered if she was perhaps missing it.

"well you have come to the right place if you wan't to know more about being an artisan" the NPC said, "the Artisan is a great crafter of jewelry and accessories, both of metal and leather or cloth. I can teach you the way of the Artisan if you are interested but it is not some easy job that should be taken lightly, it is serious work." the NPC finished and a quest popped up in front of her, Oh a quest that sounds interesting I hadn't thought of those, I could make jewelry, could be fun. she read the requirements of the quest and raised an eyebrow, 'collect material, show capability in crafting, show capability in selling, doesn't sound too hard.' she looked at the rewards and saw that it would grant her the profession Artisan, the basic tools needed to craft and 5 mats. 'not bad' she clicked the accept button and smiled up at the NPC waiting for the first instruction.

"ok Miss the first thing you need to do is collect materials that's right," he said with a smile as her face fell, "in order to craft anything you need the raw materials which, until you have a supplier, you will have to collect yourself so best to be sure you are capable of that before we continue further." she sighed resignedly and nodded agreement "ok what you will need are two bone pieces from a boar, and a piece of metal which can be found as a drop from any kind of monster." she nods again "i'll be back with the materials later" then she leaves the shop front and heads for the fields where she know's there are some boars roaming around. unfortunately when she gets there she finds nothing there, she sighs and begins to travel west towards a hilltop with a good looking rock on top of it thinking maybe she could spy something from up there.

once she reaches the rock she climbs up and looks around for a boar from this high vantage hoping to be able to get the mats before it got dark.

just as she was about to give up looking and find somewhere else to search she heard as loud squeal and turned around just in time to see a large boar charging straight towards her. she draws her dagger quickly in a ditch attempt to block the charge but to her surprise the boar catches its foot on a root and stumbles in front of her. she laughs "good lord pig you are almost a worse klutz than I am" she tells it.

Yureka slides her dagger out and brings her arm out and her leg back readying for a fight, she lunges forward to stab the boar with her dagger but the boar is a bit further back than she thought, the boar seeing her flail tries to bash her with its head but she quickly jumps back to avoid being hit.

Yureka begins to be frustrated with the boar and attempts another attack this time rushing forward, however the boar trips her up and turns its head slicing a gash in the side of her left leg, Yureka screams in pain and pushes herself away from the boar.

Yureka holds her side and hisses, "why does that have to hurt so badly" she says before bringing her dagger up once more and attempting to attack the boar, however she over extends and throws herself off balance leaving the boar to charge stright at her, fortunatly for her thought the boar seems just as uncoordinated as her and ends up tripping onto its front. she attempts another attack but misjudges and ends up falling face down into the mud next to the boar "you know pig I'm starting to think this is somebody's sad idea of a joke.." she says to the boar before getting up.

as she gets up off the ground she tells the boar "you know this is nothing personal right? I just need your bones so I can make fancy jewelry, its not like I hate you or anything" she brings her arm back and prepares for another attack.

she swings her dagger forward with all the strength she can muster and hears the squeal of pain from the Boar indicating that she hit the target, she grinned eyes glinting, "ok so maybe it is a bit personal now" she chuckled.

Yureka circles around the boar ready for any sudden movements and prepares another attack, unfortunately the boar dodges her swing and attempts to ram her but she is too fast and agilely avoids it.

Yureka crouches low and brings her arm out to the side preparing to attack again she waits until the boar starts to charge and then jumps angling her body over the Boar's and brings her dagger down cutting a large gash in it's side and causing the boar to falter.

yureka looks at the boar and brings her dagger out to the side once more, however the boar decides that it would very much like to stop being attacked so it charges before she is ready and hits her in the stomach knocking the wind out of her and sending her flying back three feet.

Yureka catches her breath and winces in pain as the pain in her ribs stabs into her lungs, "oh you are so dead meat when I get a hold of you pig" she stands and prepares to attack again, she swings wildly and the boar dances out of reach practically taunting her, then it attempts to charge but she dives to the side at the last minute.

Yureka grins becoming more sadistic with the damage done both to her and to the enemy, she brings her dagger back to prepare for what she hopes is a final attack. unfortunately her vision blurs and she misses the Boar, the boar however seems fine and it manages to kick her in the shin causing more pain.

Yureka starts to see red and her sadistic grin comes back with a vengence "prepare to die you worthless piece of crap" she leans back and crouches low preparing to strike with her dagger like a snake, she waits until the boar gets close and then sidesteps striking out with her dagger quickly creating a red swath across the boar's face.

Yureka dashes around the boar that is now severely incapacitated and laughs at its plight, she then leaps up and brings her dagger down, however the boar is still able to move with its injuries and shifts out of the way, angering Yureka more she growls and her eyes flash stormy grey over her sadistic grin.

as the boar starts to slow down due to its injuries she becomes more and more sadistic baiting it and enjoying the fight far too much, she hardly feels the pain from her own wounds and what she does feel only causes her to have more excitement. she decides that its time to finish the creature off and she brings her dagger out crouching low and tensing to pounce on the creature. the boar tries to flee and manages to avoid her pounce causing her to growl and curse lowly "come on piggy one last hit and the pain will be gone I promise" she says with a sadistic grin.

Yureka circles around the boar as it tries to run and corners it off from escape grinning and swinging her dagger in front of her waiting for it to charge. unfortunately the boar makes one last ditch effort to get away and she ends up having to dodge out of the way, she chases after it calling "you are only prolonging the inevitable fate," she jumps grabbing a tree branch and landing in front of the boar again cutting it off.

the boar was starting to infuriate her more than she could handle and her grin was slipping her eyes narrowing, she crouched low and brought her foot out and her arm back flipping her dagger backwards, "you damn ******* boar when I catch you you are so dead!" she shouted as the boar turned tail and ran away.

Yureka chased the boar running as fast as she could and finally caught up to it "oh you.. had better.. be.. worth all.. this running.." she says as she leaps at it and brandishes her dagger. she misses with the dagger but manages to grab a hold of the boar and holds on while it runs and she climbs atop it struggling to stay on.

the boar turns and dances around trying to get her off of it but she manages to hold on barely bringing her dagger up to strike the boar in the back of the head, however she slips and catches herself unable to make the attack yet, "good lord pig why did you have to be so much trouble.."

she is getting a bit fed up with this boar and just really wants this fight to be over her sadistic side in overload mode she grips the boar with her knees like when riding a horse and grabs its ear with her left hand preparing to cut it off with her dagger. the boar squeals and she looses her grip on the ear cursing under her breath and struggling to stay on
