Kityuisa had heard a certain NPC talking about a garden out in the middle of the luscious forest on floor one, and so that was where she was headed. Apparently, there were more materials than anywhere else in these Treasures of Nature. Listening to the exact location from the NPC and having the NPC mark it on her map had been no problem at all for her. So without a moment of hesitation, Kityuisa had headed for the small marking on her UI map. She didn't have a moment to lose, and wanted to be back before the night monsters spawned. It was currently dawn and Kityuisa's trek lead her right to the spot on her map. Searching around, Kityuisa pushed leaves aside and went around bushes. At long last, she came across the most marvelous garden she had ever seen. Flower beds were everywhere, and there were hedges of bush cut perfectly around the beds. There was a beautiful, crystal clear pool where a small fishing pad lay, right at the edge of the water. If Kityuisa had the fishing skill, she would have been able to fish there, but her mission for now was the search around, in hopes to find some materials she could take home with her.

Kityuisa's first location in mind was the small hedge that stood in the shape of a tree nearby her. She crouched down, leaning back onto the heels of her feet and her small hands began to work their way towards the bush. Picking up things that seemed useful to her. At last, the bush that Kityuisa had been searching at seemed to have nothing valuable left. Standing to her feet, she look at what she held in her hands. It was enough for her first search, opening her inventory UI, Kityuisa placed the item in her inventory. Her eyes now looking for the next place she could search. Seeing a collection of rocks, almost in the shape of  rock garden nearby, her feet went directly over. Her fingertips brushing over the smooth surface of each rock. A small smile lit up on her face, This world really does feel real... How about that...

The shade of the rocks seemed to change considerably as Kityuisa stood over them, her shadow causing some parts of the rocks to grow darker. A smile played on her face as she began to make shapes with her hands over the rock surface. A small bunny appeared on the rock, and next she made a flying eagle. Her mind brought her back to when she was little, her father had taught her a number of different shadow shapes, *The soaring eagle... The bunny.. The fox... The pouncing cat... The pig* Thoughts of her parents, brought small tears to her eyes. Shaking them away, Kityuisa had to focus on the here and now. Despite all they had done against her, she still cared for them, after all without them, her nor her sister would have been born to begin with. Kityuisa began her search among the rocks, instantly finding two things that would be of considerable value. Placing them in her inventory, Kityuisa looked up at the sky.

Looking up at the sky, Kityuisa noticed that it had already become sunhigh. It was about two o'clock in the afternoon and she didn't have much time left. Her searched brought her more than what she had expected, but she still had some time left. Looking around the same rocks that had given her bountiful harvest just a mere second ago, she shook her head. *Only take a small amount from nature, or it will surely curse you...* Kityuisa moved from the rock pile to the small pond nearby, searching for materials. Kityuisa pushed her kimono sleeves up and placed her hands fully in the water. Splashing around brought back memories of swimming with her family on the beach. It really had been a lot of fun... Everything that Kityuisa did brought back sickening memories of her life prior to the game. *This is your life now, Yui. Best get use to it.. Haha* Kityuisa followed her thoughts down a dark path until she felt giggles escaping from the graces of her own lips. Her eyes grew dark and she chuckled. Until her right hand hit something hard, and her left hand hit another thing that was hard. Her fingers wrapped around the two objects and pulled them out of the water. They were shiny, and Kityuisa had no idea what they were... Nudging them into her inventory, Kityuisa stood to her feet, shaking the water from her hands and placing her kimono sleeves back in their normal position. The time seemed to be about thirty minutes from dusk, she had truly been lost in her thoughts.

As Kityuisa walked towards the bench that sat near the flower bed, for a moment of rest, her eyes caught site of what seemed to be a wolf.. Her eyes widened, she had to fight it.. There was no way around it.. Kityuisa's eyes narrowed as she withdrew her dagger.

The wolf had not seemed to notice her yet, Kityuisa aimed her dagger at the wolf, her feet taking off as she charged. Slicing her dagger as she ran past the wolf, she nicked it in it's throat. Maneuvering her body and manipulating it, Kityuisa turned as she flew past the wolf, now facing towards it. Her first attack seemed to be a massive success. The wolf's health was now at fifty percent, which gave Kityuisa the boost of confidence she needed. Good job, Yui. What a display, funny thing is this wolf is super weak, so you really aren't that good.. Kityuisa watched, waiting for the wolf to attack her back.

The wolf yowled in pain from the sudden attack. It spun around trying to pinpoint where the attack had come from, seeing the pink-haired girl it let out a growl. He was infuriated and ran towards Kityuisa, its jaws sharp, two fangs seeming to protrude from his muzzle as he lunged for the girl. His mouth wrapped around Kityuisa, grabbing onto her arm and not letting go. Kityuisa tried to shake him off of her, but the wolf held tight. Slinking her HP down, Kityuisa felt a small panic, although you really didn't feel pain in this game, Kityuisa was scared as she watched her health drop. The wolf seemed triumphant that Kityuisa had not managed to dodge the attack, or shake the wolf off of her arm. Kityuisa flicked her wrist and tossed the dagger that was laying in her right hand that the wolf had grabbed hold of to her left hand. So that she would be able to fight the wolf off of her other arm.

Kityuisa narrowed her eyes, her dagger gleaming in the remaining sunlight. She growled lightly back at the wolf and used her dagger to stab into the wolf's head where it's eyes were. The wolf howled in even more pain. As she drew her dagger, farther and farther, something set place in her mind. This is what you have to do to survive. Just keep killing.. You have to find your sister, so just keep on killing. Kityuisa's dagger kept drawing closer and closer to her arm until she stopped moving it. The wolf let out one last growl before bursting into pixels. A small menu popped up to show Kityuisa what she had gained from killing the wolf. Reading it, a grin appeared on her face, despite the wolf taking a chunk of her HP away, she had managed to beat it. Her eyes now stared up at the now starry sky, Yeah this world has it's dangers.. But maybe it's not that bad after all..

Kityuisa now sat down on the bench after her fight against the wolf. As she sat, her thoughts filled more about how the game was since launch. Her thoughts battled back and forth, she was filling her own mind with her chaotic desires and chaotic insecurities. Her hands flopped beside her, looking down at her kimono she frowned at how crinkled her battle had made it. She flattened it out and made it look as pretty as it was when she wore it for the first time. Her fingers looked at the dagger she held in her hand. The gift.. That the NPC had given her. It was her fifth night staying at the same inn and she had been out looking for her sister once again and the owner of the inn had befriended her. He was the one who had introduced her to the person that had given her the dagger.

Kityuisa looked up at the sky, it really was night, but Kityuisa didn't want her search to stop just yet. She stood to her feet so that she was no longer sitting on the bench and she crouched down and looked around the base of the bench for any sort of material that might help her out. Letting out a sigh, the light wasn't really helping at all. She couldn't really find anything of value to her. Rolling her eyes, she stood to her feet. What did you expect Yui. Go ahead, keep looking, you gotta keep searching till you have more than enough. Better to have more than enough than not enough. Kityuisa battled her thoughts once more before shaking off the fact that the bench had nothing to scavenge. Looking over at the flower bed, Kityuisa smiled. She leaned over the hedge and let her fingertips gently brush over the petals, their smell filling the garden with innocence and beauty.

Kityuisa's fingertips continued to stroke the petals of the flowers. Kityuisa had some knowledge about plants and herbology so as she touched each flower, she kept her eye out for rare flowers. The flowers seemed sorted by color, not by type. So while there were white daisies in one area, there also laid white tulips. Kityuisa continued looking for anything she could use. Her eyes widening as she was looking through the white flowers when her eyes fell on a single Ghost Orchid, she plucked it carefully and placed it into her inventory, looking for anything else of use. Upon seeing one more of the Ghost Orchids, Kityuisa picked it as well, placing it in her inventory as well. She was happy with what she found, but longed to find more she absolutely loved flowers, and felt at peace when being surrounded by flowers. Her fingers continued to do what they did before she saw the rare flower, she would brush her fingers around the flower petals.

The moonlight shining above Kityuisa shed light across the entire display before her as she continued her search for rare materials and things that might catch her eye. Kityuisa was touching each petal as she moved from color bed to color bed, she stopped in front of two single black flowers. The only black flowers in the entire clearing, she carefully plucked them from their bed as well and placed them in her inventory. Looking up, she noticed just how late it really was. She stood up straight from the flower bed and turned to look at the path she had taken to get to the garden. Her eyes narrowed slightly, there was another monster. Only this one seemed to be a bit more powerful. It lay right in front of her exit. The monster was definitely within the garden parameters. Kityuisa withdrew her trusty dagger once more. She would have to fight this beast so she could decide whether she wanted to go back to the town or not.

Kityuisa had her dagger ready and charged at the flower-looking creature. She dashed forward, swiftly moving behind the boar. Her dagger slashing at her target, hitting not only once, but twice. Wasting her energy seemed to be successful. Looking at the damage that she dealt, Kityuisa gave herself an internal pat on the back. The monster had gotten rid of quite a nice amount. A little over half. Now that Kityuisa had attacked, she readied herself for impact, the flower sprite would definitely be out seeking for vengeance on the entity that hurt it. The flower had turned around to face Kityuisa and had lunged forward trying to attack her. Kityuisa noticed the pattern and simply stepped out of the flower's way. The flower missed the target, letting out a hiss. Kityuisa readied herself to attack once again. She had to regain some energy first, however... Her breaths came out short and shallow.*You got this, look at what you just did! You used your first sword skill successfully!

Kityuisa had regained some energy and was ready to attack once again. Before the sprite had a chance to react, Kityuisa charged forward once more, her dagger slashing across the face of the monster. Dealing even more damage to it, Kityuisa felt like she was getting the hang of the whole fighting system in the game. That was until the monster did a counter attack, attacking her with its now spiked up finger tips. It clawed at her, causing her to stumbled backwards. The hit was intense and Kityuisa lost a massive amount of health. Watching her health dip from 20 to 14 was terrifying, Two more hits like that and I'm pretty much done for.. I gotta try harder... Kityuisa's eyes began to gleam with a murderous tint to them Whatever you do, just survive. Pull yourself together Yui. Defeat this ugly thing! Kityuisa agreed with her thoughts and readied herself for her next attack.

Kityuisa gripped her dagger tighter and made a lunge towards the flower, however right in the nick of time the flower hardened its left leg and raised it to defend itself. Kityuisa cursed under her breath and pounced away from the flower, gaining a bit of distance so that the flower had a higher change to miss its attack. The flower sprite went to attack Kityuisa as she leaped away but to no avail, it lost its balance and fell to the floor. Kityuisa's eyes narrowed even more, their glint becoming more ferocious with every second passing. She calmly and gracefully walked over to the fallen flower. Her body overshadowing the beast. She gripped her dagger in her hand, and started to laugh like a maniac, You have it in your grasp, Yui. Take hold of this moment and slay the beast. Rid it from this world, destroy everything in your path.

Kityuisa gripped her dagger and drove it down towards the flower sprite. However, she had gotten too cocky. The flower sprite kicked out and caused Kityuisa to fall to her bottom, and the flower and switched positions with Kityuisa. It's own body now on top of hers. It's menacing face seemed to say, 'I don't think so, pink haired girl!' Kityuisa let out a growl and tried her best to get free. The flower, having kicked her down had dealt quite a bit of damage to her. It's hard thorny, legs having scratched her, taking away a chunk of her HP. Is this where it ends? Is this where I die? Kityuisa had no thoughts left.. She felt utterly defeated. Kityuisa let her body grow limp as she waited for the flower to finish her off. Waiting, ready. The flower drew up its right arm and as if in slow motion, began to bring it down on Kityuisa.

The face of her flashed before Kityuisa's eyes as she waited for her demise. I have to leave it all behind me.. Kityuisa felt tears streak from her eyes as she felt her body want to give up, but her heart had other desires, Get up, you may be useless but you have to save your sister. Get up! Her thoughts raged at her as she was consumed with feelings of utter rage, addiction, hatred but most of all, fixation. Kityuisa had to find her sister, she had to get through this hell and gain control over her sister once more. Kityuisa gripped the hilt of her dagger, right before the flower was about to hit her, Kityuisa drove her dagger upwards, towards the heart of the beast. Upon impact, the creature burst into pixels, and Kityuisa was left with nothing on top of her. A window popped up and Kityuisa just laid, unmoving. The tears continued to stream down her face.

Kityuisa just laid still, wanting to recover the HP she had lost. Her thoughts bringing her every single second back to her sister. She had wanted to give up, and she hated herself for it. But now, she wanted to get stronger. She wanted to kill Kayaba, the creator herself. She wanted to find her sister and keep her by her side, keep her safe. Keep her, hers. Kityuisa let her hands fall next to her, her dagger clanking out of her grasp. What am I even doing here.. Why did I have to let her join this stupid game with me.. If only... If only... Kityuisa curled herself into a ball and began to cry, unable to move. Her breathing shortened as she cried, her tears creating puddles on the floor beneath her face. She felt mixed emotions towards the world, here she could end up being powerful.. But her sister... She needed her by her side.

Despite being in an unsafe place, Kityuisa continued to lay unmoving, as if she was dead. Her breathing spiking every now and again. Her thoughts filling with chaotic, psychotic thoughts. Her eyelids growing heavy, her eyes growing puffy. At long last, Kityuisa fell into a deep slumber. A slumber surrounded by nightmares. While she slept, the night passed on, and monsters appeared here and there, before going away, Kityuisa went unnoticed by every single one. Upon dawn, birds appeared. Bunnies filled the garden and Kityuisa was still asleep. It was about noon-high when Kityuisa finally woke up. Wiping her face, she relieved the moments of yesterday in her head. Seeing it was already half-way through the day, Kityuisa looked around. Spotting the bunny, Kityuisa grinned. Maybe I could get some nice loot from that! She stood slowly to her feet and readied her dagger. She had regained all of her energy and prepared herself to attack.

Kityuisa charged towards the bunny, activating her sword skill so she could easily kill the small thing. However, she had not noticed the small bird that had laid in front of her and she tripped over it, her dagger landing mere inches away from her target. The bunny's ears perked up and saw that Kityuisa had been trying to attack it. It began to emit hostility from its solid, white pelt and leaped towards her, hoping to bite a finger or something. Kityuisa saw its feeble attempt and tucked her finger away from the bunny's vision. The bunny kept going, not noticing that she had tucked her finger away. By the time it saw that she had hidden her fingers it was too late. The bunny ended up skidding to a halt, but that did not stop the forward motion it had been pursuing. The bunny accidentally ran into Kityuisa's head. Kityuisa got a mouthful of fur and the bunny squealed.

Kityuisa opened her mouth as wide as she could and bit down hard on the rabbit. The fur of the bunny filled her mouth, causing Kityuisa to choke down a series of coughs. The rabbit let out a squeal as she carried the thrashing creature in her mouth. Kityuisa crawled towards her dagger, as if she were a cat carrying her newborn kit in her mouth. She picked her dagger up and stood to her feet. Kityuisa used her right hand to flip the dagger around the other way and proceeded to stab the dagger into the poor creature. The rabbit let out an even louder squeal that caused all of the birds to fly away. The rabbit trashed harder and faster but still, Kityuisa refused to let go of the rabbit. The paws of the rabbit stopped trashing for a second before it started to try and kick Kityuisa. To no avail, the rabbit was unable to reach her.
