She had read all about professions from a very trusty and dandy guidebook. She had picked one that spoke to her and had gone to the destination of the required NPC at dawn. She now sat at noon-high, ready to take on the quest. She had definitely taken her sweet time but she was more than ready now that she had had a break. She wanted to get the quest done so she could start up her own little sweet and cute shop. It was a good way for Kityuisa to meet new people, try to find her sister's whereabouts while at the same time gaining the funds she needed. Besides if she got a profession and a shop she could sleep at her shop instead of in the inn she had been sticking to since day one of the game's launch. Link to post Share on other sites

She was a master alchemist and was willing to teach Kityuisa the art of the trade. Kityuisa was all down for it and so that was where she headed to. Right outside of town, her usual spot that she always chose to search for materials from. Kityuisa was at her usual spot, her spot that took her away from the sight of people. Kityuisa was at peace here. She would be able to focus on her task at hand without any interruptions. Her gaze fell on her first spot of choice. The same pile of rocks she had tried to gather a jewel from during her last visit here. Searching around the rocks, Kityuisa first saw nothing of interest. Kityuisa gave a small smile, she would just have to look harder. Her fingers trembling as she gazed at the rocks. Her fingers lifting brush, lifting rocks until she found something of interest. She pocketed it and continued looking in this exact spot. She wanted to stay put until she was certain she would not be able to find more materials to aid her in her quest. She was certain to finish this quest so she could become the alchemist she always wanted to be. For some reason, this profession had called out to her, more so than any of the others on the list she had looked at. Maybe it had to due with her keen sense of nature and science. Her intelligent mind crafting new recipes and new things to try out. Non the less, Kityuisa had picked this profession, so she would stick to it. She wrapped her entire body around the largest rock in the pile. She lifted it with all of her might but could only shift it a mere centimeter. She decided to keep pulling and pushing until she finally moved it enough to be able to look underneath. Taking a wild glance, she smiled as something shiny caught her eye. She scooped it up and placed it in her inventory. Continuing her search at the rock pile she realized how empty-handed she would turn up if she kept looking. She seemed to have taken all of the resources away from the rock pile. Looking up and around she sought out her next destination. Her eyes narrowed in on the plants a few feet away from her. She was going to head over there and see if there were any valuable herbs in the mixture of plants at the edge of the forest. Kityuisa let out a few curse words under her breath and stood back up to her feet. She groaned internally before strangely looking at the hole, she might as well search here on her way after all. Kityuisa poked her fingers into the hole and began her search. Nothing really bit her so she had no worry of any monsters being in the hole. Her eyes peering into the darkness she gave up, there was no way she would be able to see any farther down the hole. Surely something valuable was down there, but Kityuisa didn't want to test it out. She stood back up to her feet and brushed off her white dress. Looking back at the forest, she began to set out for the same patch of plants she had had her eye on the time before she had tripped. She had no idea what she was looking for as she was not well-versed in herbology. Picking up a few strands of plants she glanced at the name it held. 'Common Weed' Kityuisa frowned and let the plants fall to the ground, they would not be good enough for her. She watched as they burst into pixels. She was having no luck! Perhaps she ought to try farther into the forest? Kityuisa clenched her hands into fists. She felt naked without her dagger by her side.. But it did not matter, Kityuisa could easily equip it if she really needed to... She stood to her feet, leaving the weeds behind her and began to trek deeper into the forest, in hopes to find some sort of valuable herb that would aid her in her alchemy. There was nothing of value that she could find. Her head cocked to the side as she spotted a rather large tree. She scurried towards it and began to check the moss at the base. Finding some sort of value in it, Kityuisa's eyes widened. She began to try to collect the moss but everytime her fingers ran through it it would burst into pixels. She was not skilled enough to gather it! Kityuisa sighed in frustration, this quest seemed difficult! She couldn't find anything valuable enough to use in her alchemy! She gripped the edge of her gloves she was about ready to pull them off! She could probably gather more materials by fighting the monsters here than gathering the materials she was wanting! Kityuisa's mind thought of all that had occurred in the past. Kityuisa couldn't give up.. At least not yet... She would continue her search, whenever she failed again she would begin to hunt monsters, that was her plan of attack. She decided to go deeper into the forest so she passed by the big tree. She wanted to leave it in the past. Suddenly, Kityuisa heard a noise. Rustling branches and leaves behind her, she spun around. The noise turning out to just be a curious bird gazing at her. Kityuisa's eyes drifted back to the tree. When something glowing caught her eye. She stumbled forward. It was some kind of a mystical flower? Kityuisa reached forward and gently plucked it from its spot. It had been nestled in a small hole in the middle of the tree trunk. She looked it over, it's title was (?). Kityuisa's eyes widened. It had no name? Was it a lucky find? She placed it in her inventory and turned back around, It was all thanks to the robin that she had found it! She leaned forward and looked each mushroom over, her eyes falling on a rather larger mushroom. She began to pick each mushroom. Holding three a name popped up on her screen, (Bundle of Mushrooms). She had found some more materials for her potions! She placed this one as well in her inventory and checked out her quest progress. She had one more material to go. Her eyes looked deeper in the forest. It was dark, the leaves of the trees covering the sky above her. Kityuisa could barely see the sun above her head as she continued her walk. Kityuisa began to actually enjoy herself! She grinned as she continued her stroll. No monsters were in sight... but rather than giving Kityuisa comfort it worried her. She didn't know when one would show up. She wanted to be ready, but she still wanted to continue her search... Maybe I should stop wearing the gloves... With a small nod of her head she unequipped the gloves and equipped her dagger. She wanted to be ready just in case, and she could just as easily rely on her own luck. She had not noticed it until it had lunged for her. Kityuisa dodged out of the way right on time, and withdrew the dagger she had just equipped. She attempted to do a dodging, slash attack but failed as the mushroom flew right past her to where she had been standing only moments prior. This would be a fun battle and Kityuisa was ready to give it her all. She had never fought a giant mushroom before, but perhaps this mushroom wanted revenge because Kityuisa had gathered its brethren up and placed it in her inventory. Her malice towards the mushrooms would be to brew them up in a potion, perhaps they had called for help. If Kityuisa died she would drop all of her items anyways, so maybe that was why this giant mushroom was here! He was here and that was that. Kityuisa would have to fight him now. She charged up her dagger, ready to make an attack. She would be attacking it with round accel, her double damage sword skill that she knew. Her body crouching low, she was ready to attack. Kityuisa charged for or rather, at her opponent. Her dagger slashing forward and slashing once more, the mushroom lord aimed to attack her but she flew past him too quickly. The mushroom lord turned around, confused as to how Kit had been so fast! Kit spun around to face the mushroom, her gaze narrowing as she saw the expression that the mushroom held in its eyes! It was terrorized, yet it was hostile towards her! Her own expression was unclear in her mind, perhaps it was disgust, perhaps it was amusement! SHE HAD NEVER SEEN SUCH A GIANT MUSHROOM BEFORE! SHE WAS EXCITED, OKAY?! So charging she went! She dashed forward but the mushroom was expecting it this time and hopped out of the way, trying to grab her as she dashed past him. Her dagger hitting nothing but air. She let out a curse word. She had learned to let the battle excite her as she felt her body being filled with joy. She was at peace with the world. She loved the rush of fighting, she turned to face the giant mushroom, especially when it was a mushroom much like this one. It was HUGE! Kityuisa still was gawking over its intense size. She jumped up and down and the mushroom looked at her like she was crazy, "WOOHOO!" she would shout, birds taking to the sky as they got scared. Kityuisa let her body drop back low. Perhaps she had distracted the mushroom enough so he wouldn't expect her dashing attack. Wow~ Kityuisa laughed off her mistake as she this time decided to just face the mushroom without her sword skills. Her blade shining. The mushroom ran at her, she had not been expecting it to be as fast as it was, due to how overweight the mushroom lord was. She felt her body get slammed and Kityuisa fell to her rear. Laughing it off even more as she looked at the damage that the mushroom had dealt, "I could go all day, kind sir. Let me just flay you alive and collect all the materials i need from you~" The mushroom lord let out a scream. It was scared! Kityuisa patted it on the head, "It's okay, this won't hurt... a lot at least~" She giggled louder. and the mushroom screamed louder. It sounded like uhm, one of those weird things. Those cats screaming, like the videos that Kityuisa always watched at home. She was having no luck today, Kityuisa was no longer in the mood for the fight. The mushroom lord taking advantage of her distraction to bite her on her arm. She was pissed off and didn't want to deal with her failure today. Her trinket was supposed to INCREASE HER ACCURACY! SHE WAS STILL MISSING EVERY CHANCE SHE GOT TO ATTACK THE FOWL BEAST. Kityuisa glared at the monster. She was pissed off, maybe one day she would come back to finish the fight. But right now, she did not want to be anywhere near the thing. It was making her have a bad day. Kityuisa rolled her eyes, "You're so over rated. The should rename you to the Lord of Crap." Kityuisa decided she would try to make her big getaway. She about had it with this mushroom. She unequipped her trinket, reducing her accuracy and began to re-equip her gloves. This would help her runaway. She didn't know how, but she had a feeling it would. She glanced at the monster. She about had it. Kityuisa finished equipping her luck gloves and glanced up at the mushroom. It was distracted by a butterfly! She rolled her eyes again, "Such a big baby..." She watched as the mushroom looked up at her. Kityuisa offered a wide grin, as it dashed at her. This time she was prepared and dodged out of the way. She would soon be gone and away from this dumb mushroom. She would leave the forest and head back to her usual gathering spot. Kityuisa couldn't wait to get out of this dumb mushroom' sight and out of the dimly lit forest. Kityuisa who had been hyped for fighting had given up. It ran in front of her and pushed her back. Kityuisa fell on her bum, looking up she glared. "Why can't you just let me leave in peace. I literally am not hurting anything! I have no idea why you started attacking ME in the first place. I'm just here minding my own business trying to gather materials for this dumb quest when you showed up! Your fat and ugly! Let me leave!" The mushroom looked hurt as Kityuisa yelled at him and tore his ear off with her words. She huffed and puffed as the mushroom stood his ground, processing everything that Kityusia had said. She herself was processing too. It was this mushrooms fault that she kept failing her attacks! It didn't really help that her mind was distracted though... She tried to walk around him, he just moved to stand in front of her. Kityuisa growled, before turning around and stalking away. The mushroom moved with her. She didn't see a single way out of this heck hole. She would either have to keep fighting or climb her way out. Surely this fat loaf couldn't climb trees? *Only one way to find out..* Kityuisa looked for the nearest tree and dashed her way over. She began her climb until she had made her way to the middle of the tree. From here she could hop from branch to branch if need be. She looked down and watched the mushroom. He was staring at the trunk of the tree that Kit had just climbed up. Kityuisa began scurrying from branch to branch, the mushroom following her every movement. Kityuisa couldn't believe this was happening! She dropped to the ground, the mushroom followed. She began to run away but the mushroom followed! It was like those Annabel movies. The doll always found you no matter where you ran. Kityuisa felt like she was in a horror movie, only instead of a cursed doll it was a fat ugly mushroom who was angry at you for gathering mushrooms ._. Kityuisa looked behind her and saw that the mushroom was still following her. But it looked a bit out of breath. Kityuisa looked forward a mere second too late. She had tripped over a root and fell, face planting the floor. Her mouth filling with dirt and leaves... She couldn't believe she tripped! Her mouth tasted disgusting, oh how she could do with a lovely meal right about now. She looked behind her and saw that the mushroom had caught up. He was leaning over her, angry at her apparently, "Why--- do--- you-- keep--- trying--- too--- leave?!" The mushroom spoke in a raspy and hard to understand voice, Kityuisa had somehow managed to understand it though," BECAUSE IM TIRED OF MISSING MY HITS ON YOUR FAT--" The mushroom covered her mouth, "You--- are---- mean--- I--- am---- tired--- of--- you--- calling--- me---- fat---" Kityuisa rolled her eyes, "You're just a dumb monster what do you mean you're tired of me calling you one way, why can't i just leave and stop fighting you?!" The mushroom shrugged, as if to say 'why don't you keep trying, its funny to watch you fail to run away from me.' Kityuisa stood to her feet, her anger and hatred for the mushroom becoming more and more massive, she would come back and kill that thing. Turning around she stalked the rest of her way out of the forest. She had one more material to gather and then one potion to craft. Then she would be done with this quest. Kityuisa found her way out of the forest and back in the clearing she had missed oh so dearly. She smiled as she went back to her rock pile. Harassing the surface of the smooth stone. Her eyes, began to eye a nearby fissure of bush. Maybe she could pick some berries, make her way back into town and wrap up this thing. Kityuisa couldn't wait to open up her shop.
