[SP-F1-7] Material Hunt

Recommended Posts

Daeron was in his blacksmith's crafting area, when he was intending to make a weapon. However, when he went to go grab material to craft, he saw that the material shelf was entirely empty with nothing sitting on it. All he saw was a self written note saying, need material. Daeron then sighed as he was frustrated with his poor organization skills to maintain a schedule. Daeron then set away his crafting gear, and grabbed his sword and called over his Phoenix, Scorch. "Well Scorch... Time to go hunting for material. Let's start with Dragon Heart Stones." Daeron said as he headed to the Third Floor.

Daeron continued travelling the third floor with his pet, until he reached a cave that isn't too far south from the main city. Daeron entered the cave watching small infant dragons trying to fly from end to end of the cave. When he entered, due to his high level they weren't aggro'd to him. Daeron then called over three of the dragons, and prepared to fight them.

As Daeron was the player being superior to everything in this area, he got the first chance to strike, having higher speed than the Dragons. Daeron quickly rushed forward and swung his weapon at the first dragon, hoping to deal a devastating blow to it already. Daeron wanted tons of material, but he didn't want to take too long getting a single material. Behind Daeron's weapon, Scorch was trailing behind ready to help deal extra damage on the dragon.

Dragon1:

The Dragon had managed to avoid Daeron's attack and saw the bird flying in behind the weapon, and managed to get past that attack too. For a baby dragon, it was able to maneuver easily. The Dragon then rushed forward at Daeron with its head pointing down, revealing it was going to ram Daeron.

Dragon2:

The Second Dragon of the Trio watched as so far every strike and attack had either been dodged or miscalculated by the AI or player. This time, the Dragon ran behind Daeron and prepared to ram at the player again just at a different angle, expecting Daeron to be caught off guard.

Dragon3:

The Dragon watched as Daeron was hit in the back by Dragon2. This meant there was a quick, but prompt opening for the third and final dragon to rush in for a strike on Daeron's side. The Dragon, clawed the ground and ran forward, also running with it's head tucked down.

Daeron's attack had been dodged by the First Dragon. However, when the dragon made an attempt to counter Daeron's attack, he had stepped aside avoiding the first hit. Before Daeron was able to react though, there was a smash in Daeron's back, from the second dragon, forgetting there were three not just a single one. Daeron quickly recovered from the hit however and had gotten up, just in time to dodge the final dragon's attack.

Quickly, before the second dragon was able to escape from Daeron's range, he ran at it, swinging his weapon in a diagonal motion cutting across Daeron's chest if he were attacked in this manner. The blade of the tip was followed by Scorch, who was making a valiant effort to try and heal Daeron from the previous hit.

Dragon1:

After watching the player deal a reasonable amount of damage to the second dragon, the first dragon rushed forward during Daeron's mid-attack phase, hoping to perhaps stop it. Although the attack had gone through already, hurting Dragon2, the dragon continued to rush forward ready to ram the player once again.

Dragon2:

Dragon1 had managed to hit Daeron after his attack and send him pushed backwards a little bit. So to take another hit on Daeron, Dragon2, jumped into the air slashing it's claw at Daeron's arm, a different method of attack from the three dragons so far.

Dragon3:

Unfortunately for Dragon2, the player had managed to avoid taking damage a second time in a matter of seconds, however the third dragon made another effort trying to deal damage to the high leveled player again, to hope to win the fight this so quickly.

The Dragons seemed to be able to think about flanking Daeron, because for the past couple of hits, Daeron has been unable to keep his eyes on all of the dragons surrounding him as they continued to split up, making it nearly impossible to dodge and block every single hit incoming. Daeron then thought that he needs to single out a single dragon at a time, this way, they lose quicker. Quickly, Daeron then swung his weapon upwards vertically at Dragon2 yet again, with Scorch trying to heal Daeron again.

Dragon1:

The Dragon watched as another devastating hit was landed on it's ally. This time, it looked like it hurt more. The red gashes on it's scales grew larger, and the wounds on the player grew smaller every time the bird did something. Although the Dragon had no way to understand how stuff like this is done, it did notice that the damage must be dealt to the avian now soaring through out the cave, trying to stay out of combat from Daeron's weapon. The Dragon, then flew up into the air chasing behind Scorch, and began dive bombing head first at the bird's wing.

Dragon2:

The Dragon felt the hits increase in pain on it's body, and it began to let out a small and weak roar, that didn't sound intimidating at all. The Dragon, grew weaker with every hit dealt on it, but continued to stand, making an effort to win the fight. The dragon then ran slowly at Daeron, trying to claw at his legs.

Dragon3:

The Dragon watched as it's allies had both missed and must have thought that it needs to take matters into it's own claws. The dragon jumped into the air, from behind Daeron, where it would hopefully go unnoticed and deal some damage on the player again. This time, the dragon opened it's jaw up, to try and bite the back of Daeron's arm.

Daeron hadn't noticed the final dragon successfully sneak up behind him and bite the back of his arm. Daeron quickly shook the dragon off, throwing it away from him, but the pain from the bite remained and refused to ease on his arm. Because he was using his arms the most in this fight, it wasn't going to stop anytime soon, but it wouldn't slow down Daeron the slightest. Instead of attack the only dragon that had done damage, Daeron again, aimed his attack for Dragon2, who was nearly ready for defeat.

The Dragon had missed Scorch from the middle of the air, but didn't ease up on trying to catch Scorch, who had healed Daeron yet again, removing any damage just taken on him. This time, Dragon1 made an attempt to attack Scorch, by weaving through the air, cutting back and forth, and then slashing at it's back.

Dragon2:

The Dragon began to grow very weak and faced serious injuries. The Dragon knew it was near death at this point and nothing would save it. Continuing in a limp, the Dragon ran forward at Daeron, and went to bite his leg, for a final hit before it died, hoping it could do a sufficient amount to the player, perhaps weakening him a lot in the future of the fight.

Dragon3:

Watched as all of the damage that was dealt to Daeron had just disappeared. The red gashed had removed itself from his body, becoming fully mended skin. Again, the Dragon snuck up behind Daeron as he was busy with the other Dragons, hoping that it could do what it had done once before, except on his other arm this time.

Daeron watched as Scorch was being chased by the first dragon, but he knew Scorch could handle the situation for a few more moments until Daeron finished his hunt. Daeron then watched as the very injured and harmed Dragon struggled to even move, but he refused to show mercy. Daeron then took the tip of his weapon and aimed it at the dragon as he thrusted the weapon forward creating a lunge attack.

Dragon1:

The Dragon continued to chase Scorch, this time not allowing the avian to heal his master. The bird continued doing twists and turns through the air, but the dragon had actually managed to keep up behind the bird, even though it was only a baby dragon. Before Scorch was able to turn, the dragon had cut off the phoenix, trapping it, there was little chance of dodging this next hit from the dragon.
