Someone to confide in. That would normally be her brother, but sadly, she couldn't confide in him the things that she was planning or the things that bugged her. They all revolved around that stupid owl of his after all. How was she just so jealous of someone else? Perhaps it was because she couldn't find something like what Masato has now? That would make logical sense. Could also be that she has had her brother by her side all of the time growing up and she just doesn't want to share him. That was a logical thought on this jealousy of her's as well. Either way, maybe some time in the future someone can knock her down a peg. It would be good for her. But for now, shew as just hell bent on making sure that she got her brother's attention back on herself, and right now, she didn't care who she hurt in the process.

That sounded about right for her. She didn't want to hurt her brother, but if it was going to teach him a lesson, then she was going to have to hurt him. At least she would be there to ease his pain. Probably take him out to kill some things. That seems to help right? Well, it did help her at least. She was certain that it was going to help Masato as well. They were basically twins after all. Ugh, perhaps she should just stop trying to destroy the happiness that he seems to have found here? But then, she has said it to him before, what does he truly know about this owl that he claims to love? How does he know that she won't just up and run the moment that the game is over? How does he know that she actually loves him in return and isn't just using him. There were a lot of things that went through Akiara's mind as she thought about this stuff, and it hurt her to think them.

Gah, she needed to get rid of this new found thought process. It was thankfully stopped though when she saw the marker of a creature ahead. She smiled as she grabbed Okami's hilt and she walked closer to it. Ah, another unsuspecting boar. This one wasn't going to know what hit it either, at least, she hoped. She wasn't exactly nimble on her feet anyways. She started to channel Rage Blow as she ran to the boar, only for it to hear her. It tried to dodge her, but she still managed to hit the boar with her sword art. Great, she watched as the boar lost a chunk of health. She smirked, but she almost got hit by the boar's retaliating attack. Instead, she managed to jump out of the way just in time, the boar's tusks dangerously close to her side as she moved. Yeah, that was a little too close for comfort.

Stupid boar trying to hurt her. She wouldn't blame Masato if he was to laugh at her if she came home beat up. Of course, she probably deserves it anyways from walking around out here alone after all. She spun around to look at the boar that seemed to have murder in it's eyes. She watched the boar carefully, wanting to be sure that she was timing things right and that she was making sure that she got hit less than she needed to. She doesn't want to die, and she doesn't want to have Masato thinking that she can't leave the town. She would get too stir crazy about that. Oh right, a battle. She focused back on the moment realizing that the boar was getting ready to charge. She quickly channeled Rage Blow once more and she charged it as the boar charged her. The two attacks connected to their target a the same time, knocking them both back a few feet, health slowly being depleted.

Right, that hurt. Boar tusks right into the gut. Huh, who knew that hurt as much as it actually did. Wait...was she seriously short enough to just be able to be impaled by a boar if she wasn't careful? What kind of trickery was this?! She grumbled something incoherent under her breath for a moment before she manage to right herself from the hit ad the push back. This boar, was now, for sure, going to die by her blade. She started to channel Rage Blow once more as she charged the still stumbling boar. She didn't give it a chance to do anything before she blade connected to it. She moved back faster than the boar was able to right itself, which meant that she was out of reach by the time it tried to hurt her. Akiara watched the boar's health drop to a sliver and she sighed as she watched it stumble around, trying to find it's way.

Okay boar, your time ends here. She wasn't ready to move yet, she had to watch her energy, she was running out quickly. This part of the game sucked. Energy conservation. It meant that she had to be careful. But, she still had enough energy to be able to finish this boar without having to worry. That was exactly what she was going to do to. She was going to make the boar pay for not only hurting her, but making her realize that she was able to be impaled by them if she wasn't careful. This wasn't fair to her at all, and she was going to make sure that this boar knew that. She channeled Rage Blow one last time before she charged the boar. It didn't have the chance to move or even really notice her. Her blade sliced right through the boar, cleaving it clean in half as if burst into fragments. Poof, and the boar was gone. She got her loot and she went about her way sheathing Okami with a smile on her face.

Okay, she was tired, no more fighting for now. This was going to be a nice slow walk. Yes, she was going to relax. Wait, was that even possible for this child? Was she capable of being able to relax? Eh, that was debatable today. She enjoyed her little walk, only for it to be interrupted briefly by Yukiro. He was freezing and apparently wanted a hug. She wasn't going to say no, that would go against her plot. She hugged him before he took off to town to warm up. That boy, there was something odd about him that seemed to make him interesting. Woah, Akiara, no getting attached remember. That is bad. That is how you get hurt with this plot. Don't do it, push those feelings away. Wait, what feelings? There weren't any. She couldn't help but laugh at herself in that moment. She was starting to lose her mind probably. That wasn't a good thing.

Note: Yukiro cameo permission was given via discord

Losing her mind. Yeah, that wasn't a good thing. Of course, Yukiro showing up out of no where freezing was crazy enough on it's own. Eh, that was something that she was going to have to worry about later. Though the fact that he had hunted her down out here for a hug, just proved that he has fallen for her, and well, that was going to make this little plan of her's just that much easier. Though, part of her did feel sorry for the guy, he was getting dragged into something without even knowing it. Oh well, collateral damage. It happens. She shrugged in the moment as she continued to walk. There wasn't really much else that she was going to be able to do right now about that. She sighed then as she looked around, she was starting to wonder if this was going to actually be worth the trouble this was taking.

What was worth the trouble? Well, she was still wondering if her betraying her brother's trust like this was going to be worth it. Was it going to be worth anything that might possibly happen? She thought, for maybe about three seconds before she laughed. Yeah, this entire thing was worth it. She was vindictive after all, and the owl was trying to steal her brother from her. That just wasn't going to fly. Not in a video game, not without knowing who her brother actually is. And for sure not when no one knew where she was in the real world. What if she was on the opposite side of the planet, then her brother would be heart broken and destroyed. He wouldn't be able to see her. So it would be best to rip that little band-aid off right now, before it got worse and her brother tried to plans things in the real world that wasn't going to be able to happen, ever.

Ugh, why was this quest so damned hard? She has been walking around out here for too damn long already and has seen no sight or sound of a wolf. This was starting to seem like a lost cause. How in the heck had the owl been able to get her familiar so damned fast and she couldn't even get it right now? She sighed as she plopped on the ground to sit. She was going to have to take a long and hard thought process on if she wanted to continue this today. Honestly, who the hell could travel this long to be able to find a familiar? The gypsy could have at least told her that this was going to take so damn long too. How do so many people have a familiar with how this quest seems to be rigged. Or is it just her? Did the quest just hate her and wanted to make her life difficult on purpose? Possibly, she wasn't about to think past much of anything.

Ugh, okay, this was taking to damned long at this point. She was sure that she had better things that she could be doing after all. So, officially giving up fir the day, Akiara rose to her feet and abandoned this lovely, yet hateful, quest. She knew what she would do. Go back to town, grab Masato and drag him along with. Yeah that sounded like a grand plan. She smiled as she turned back towards town and started to walk. At least things were going to be able to fo faster with some company. Hopefully he wouldn't get mad though, that was the last thing that as he would want to happen. For some reason, the walk back to town seemed to be shorter than the walk that she had done while searching. Was that how th iij bfs always felt? She shrugged at the thought before heading to her brothers shop.
