Oscar quickly examined the chest. It didn't seem to be locked too tight. After a little finagling, Oscar was able to pop the lock open. He looked down at the contents and sighed heavily. He added the Col and materials to his inventory but immediately tossed the rest. The game had a knack for getting you so hyped up at the sight of the treasure chest, only to knock you right back down into the dirt. Less than half of the Col he got from killing a normal mob, a not-insignificant amount of materials, and literal garbage. It left a sour taste in his mouth. He kicked the chest back into the water and stood up, slinging his weapon over his back before shoving his hands in his pockets. He was done for the day. He'd have to come back later when he got the taste of wasted time out of his mouth. And so, off he went, back towards town and ultimately home.
