To this end, Raidou's plans were progressing steadily with each passing day causing a surplus of supplies overtaking the entirety of the surfaces contained inside. Retrieving his things from where they were scattered and finally donning the robe that took to the back of his chair, the very same he spent frequent nights writing down a myriad of small notes and formula. With his preparations complete Raidou sets off, heading for Tolbana village through the nearby settlements warp gate eager to get a jump on today's affairs. A flash of blue removes reality in a shift of gravity and seconds later, the familiar sights and smells of floor 21 grace his senses. Upon landing Raidou makes his way to the quest board to the best of his ability to accept the quest in question, eager to get his daily routine underway. With a quick flick of his finger, the roster scrolls by in a rapid slide before a second stroke halt the list upon his target. Quest Accepted flashes onto his HUD with the intention and proper acceptance, to the flutter of a cloak Raidou heads off down the narrow passageways that comprise the length of the floor. His vision is met with the perception of glimmering nodes in bulked cropping laden in the alcove he frequented often, removing the linen from his back and flattening it out to make a focal point, he kneels and gets to work. With the task solved and a darkened red square now laid flat in a growingly more useful tapestry of crimson fabric, beckons Raidou to begin the day's yield. A run of his fingertips over the stocks that protrude from the darkened stone flooring underfoot, brushing of the reddened leaves bleeds back a glimmer of gold showing maturity ripe enough for the picking. To this end, Raidou begins the procedure and starts to remove those which emanate such light as his gatherer skill passively aids his efforts to which knew no exhaustion or to the same degree boredom. Dropping them to the rest of the harvest with a flick of his wrists breaking lose the sections of dirt that had taken hold to the network that had adhered them to the ground, Raidou taps his hands together to free them of the sentiment that had found hearth in the lines on his hands. This rounded out the first category of the many he had on the day's agenda, a frequented list that he added to the guild's storage with the break of each dawn. To this end Raidou found a pleasant silence accompanied the very act he unknowingly took on each and every day, the blue light or darkness of the world around him in a serene handshake that left him to his devices to which to meet his goals. Scattered in lines drawn about it like a network of blood vessels in a rich and darkened blue giving a reflection of glimmer from what little light was available showing its metallic nature. Raidou withdrew his sword and presented it before him affirming his stance for a shift and change of momentum to lead it to his target, sliding his feed and a quick turn of his body to build force the impact caused thunder to ricochet off the walls around him in a boom. Moving each jagged unit to his cloak in its centralized tapestry allowing a much more rapid deposit and retreat, paired with a less time consuming withdrawal from this method. To this end, A pile formed piece by glorious piece of veined mineral stones in a pyramid upon its surface. To the same Raidou's feet could almost draw a grove in the floor as he traced a path between its origin and his dedicated location for them, multiple trips segregating his gains from the inert stones that begged to. These very same find a hearth amongst the latter as Raidou adds them to the first yielded from the stone, creating a nice size collection to add to the coffers of the guild hall. Raidou on this note was completed with his harvest of these metals hoping they would prove to keep the empty of such materials at bay for just a while longer. Crossing this off the agenda with its finale, Raidou moves to the next category in the sequence which being either Cooking, Performer, Tailoring and Artisan goods respectively which would allow a more even distribution of growth and keeping the wheels turning forward for at least one more day until he had another chance. A box not unlike those before it on days prior found his sight with ease, a cube shaped box of old wood composed of panels that looked weathered in age: A crate. With a withdrawal of his weapon and a jam of his point at the seam that stuck the lid to its lower section Raidou aimed to pop it free with a creaking of wood giving way with each expenditure of force. Placing his toes to the bottom to stabilize it in a form of counterbalance, Raidou pushes it deeper like a misshapen scalpel that followed with the sounds of splintering wood and the smell of aged soot bleeding free with each give the box could muster. Shortly after a thick oozing of dust escapes carrying a musky burning sensation to his eyes and nose to which he must advert his gaze with a fan of the same. The cloud clears with time eventually settling away enough to allow a look into the container, showing back familiar parcels and bags of surely rotted items to which he is forced to remove or shift about to allow a further dig at what surely would be found also within that would stand the test of time. Confirmed after the surface is removed a stack of bolted fabric stares back at the nomad to which he has very little issue removing the first few with a lean in. Curious but unimportant Raidou dumps these to the robe and shuffles his way back with the intention not on spending too much time fretting on the how or why and more on the what. Whatever these components were they would prove of use even in just development of they proved of little in equipment that would be of use past this goal. A bend inward with his upper torso allows him to dig deeper within, allowing his center mass to become a point of pivot as his feet lift slightly off the ground and it appeared as though the crate despite its age had very little trouble supporting his weight despite its age. The very same moved to his cloak with the rest creating a nice rainbow of color of pre made linens in a fan of bolts layered upon one another. Tapping his hands and taking to the stream inside the grotto Raidou rinses away the filth before he adjusts his glasses on his nose, given they had threatened to fall from his face in his inversion. Another task complete as a mental tally graced the conclusion of its harvest, Raidou moved to the next in tandem taking a quick survey about him looking for another that would fulfill such a requirement. The water he was still leaning down within bled back a glimmer of smoothed stone between its surface, more than likely clams as a trip before. A shift of his arm about sliding extended fingertips across the rough bed in a sea of cold blue. Eventually despite his lack of pure sight Raidou's hand manages to bump into one that lay laden within, wrapping a clasping fist around one and removing it in a dripping mess of liquid. Sure enough, a resounding line is drawn upon a good portion of the edge as if it could split open on a natural hinge. Placing this one to his side Raidou moves to the next in tandem allowing his hands free for another as his arm is shoved back within the chilling water. A growing pile with each removal as the bed continues to offer up the food goods, a dripping pile of the harvest gaining girth to his right as time passed. Raising to his feet and scooping up his gain in response to the completion of the category and doing his best to shake them free of the droplets that were beading upon their surfaces appearing as though they were coated with some sort of oil. Mostly dry but still leaking a tad it would have to suffice as Raidou dropped them to his robe as he had not the time to squander in a full extraction of the liquid within, time would not allow him such a thing and the robe should be more than capable of sustaining the pooling liquid. Usually, this wall found a myriad of gemstones underneath the layer of stone and today was no different. Meeting his eyes with a reflection of the light inside this grotto was jewels and Raidou withdrew his sword to utilize in the extraction process. Jamming the point in just off center of the first with a flash of sparks as a bit of the wall breaks away in fragments of rock some falling some flying back toward the impact. Shoving it in a tad deeper and beginning to rock it back to pry free the stone, it takes a few seconds of insertion and wedging before eventually, the stone pops loose from its entrapment falling to the ground in a resounding thud. They join the first with the following thud as they break away from the enclosure, communing in a small pile with each as it falls. This finishes the harvest as the wall lays in pocked sockets of empty holes riddling its surface like scars of each cut, and with a sheath of his blade at the last Raidou leans down and starts to pick up his gains which were quite numerous. Adding them to the robe for a later deposit with another type fulfilled with the success Raidou piles them up in their own area upon its surface, leaving only the last and more volatile material left for addition: Recording crystal for performers. Raidou moves up to meet them kneeling to one knee to allow an easy stand and placing an open hand with thumb and index to its point. With a soft rocking motion back and forth to build leeway for the eventual pull, hairlines forming at its base with each subtle pressure bleeding downward to the spherical rock it was protruding from. The stone falls free with each shift inches in every direction before Raidou starts to give it a tug. The first is fruitless but the third attempt allows it free with a scatter of pebbles leaving a good size crevice in its wake as it slides out gingerly. In his grasp, a good 6 inch long rod shaped glass of magnificent color. It takes its own segment of the robe set softly near the bolts of fabric retained earlier, far from the harder types that also lay upon it. Back to the node in question, Raidou sets his sight on a second, for one would not suffice and Raidou aimed for all that he could remove. Wrapping a closing grasp in a followed suit of the same extraction method, Raidou begins to sway with almost a waltz of mechanical movement showing a grace of a master of the skill that was required to retrieve such a thing. After a few moments and pass of the hand, Raidou manages a second one and like the prior takes no potential of damage adding it to the first before continuing. Raidou 1 Posted April 13, 2020 Author #18 Report Share Posted April 13, 2020 (edited) A continued and diligent extraction Raidou keeps adding the glass hexagons to the tapestry strewn about in the center of the cave, they begin to pile up with each pull and slide free creating a nice spectrum of color as the red of his robe is cast through them creating all shades of warm color to bleed through in oranges and reds. A beautiful sight that was lost on the nomad who would not take note or distraction from such things. However his attention was focused to a sharpened edge on the harvest node as it began to lose luminosity with each extraction leaving it dimmer as the crystals began to vanish to his segregated point, a few more remained but it was drawing closer and closer to empty. Another with the cracking of stone as the oval node kept on giving them up to Raidou's expertise that bled through his fingertips. To this end, the robe is littered with a mirror of what he clutching in a pile of them. Taking the last and setting it down Raidou removes a collection of bags brought for the occasion and began to store the mass in the sacks prepared for each. To no surprise, they disappear into each and with a tug of the cable that found its opening they are sealed and added to his belt for the transit back. Eventually, the robe lays empty with the final harvest of gemstones vanishing into the last bag. Removing the robe from the rough floor and giving it a quick flap to remove its sentiment Raidou adorns his shoulders with his tried and true tapestry. To his gaze, it seems fruitful as the box is found, snuck behind a rising pillar of stone that the glint of metal gives away to his peripheral. An iron lined chest with a good size area to store whatever may lay dormant inside, entrapped by the older wooden planking that composes it exterior. Raidou adjusts the glasses on his nose and begins to purvey the box with a wolf like circle around it, exercising caution in attempts to find anything that would do him harm. Looking about it in a scan of cords cables or attachment what would show back if a mechanism lay inside waiting to be sprung. After a few rings about it Raidou comes back empty in his search.
