[SP-F8] Travelling through the Trees - Completed

Recommended Posts

Seldentar was very curious about this new floor, and he wanted to train on the top floors from now on. He wanted to make his presence known, even if he did tend to fight solo. He definitely wanted to be there the next time a boss fight happened, he wanted to make sure he got to the front lines. He travelled out of the safe zone, and into the forest above the monster infested waters.

Seldentar travels through the trees, looking around, mostly avoiding monsters for now as he looks to see what is around this area. He hated mapping, but it was essential, especially on a new floor. If he happened to spot the dungeon it could really help everyone out. As he travels around, he starts to lose track of where he is going, figuring he can always teleport back if needed, he enjoys the stroll.

On Loot Dice:

1 - 5: Normal Forest mobs

6 - 10: Silver Tree Guardians

11 - 14: Pk Ambush

15 - 19: Water Monsters

20: Enterance to the Floors Dungeon

As Seldentar continues to walk, he sees a figure move out from a tree in front of him. His eyes go slightly wide, seeing the yellow cursor. Behind him, he hears more foot steps, as another player emerges from hiding behind him. Trapped between both, he quickly draws his sword.

Now now now, theres no need for violence. Why don't you just hand over all your Col and Gear, and you can be on your way.

Seld hears snickering from behind him as the two PKers move in closer. He couldnt afford to hand everything over, it would all be for nothing. They would probably just kill him anyway. His eyes narrowing, he knows he has no choice. While he would try not to kill, he wasn't going to be bullied, and he certainly had no intention of dying out here. Targetting the first PKer in front of him, he lunges forward, his eyes starting to glow blue with his Skill. His sword cuts deep into the first PKer, as he cuts into him as hard as he can.

*Pker Post (First PKer will use Combat Dice, Second will use Loot Dice, same percentage chance on attacks)

The first PKer growls as he is attacked. He hadn't figured this punk to be that brave. He drew his own sword, seeing his partner moving in quickly behind him. If this punk wanted a fight, he would get one. Both Pkers attack together, striking out at Seldentar. While the first misses, the second PKer manages to strike down across Seldentars back, injuring him.

Seldentar feels the attack on his back, and notices the drop in his HP, but he can't fight both at the same time. By eliminating one, he would vastly increase his odds of survival. He continues his assault on the first one, Jumping up into the air like he did against the Troll, letting the Motion assist help him jump up and over the enemy, striking downwards as he leaps. Cutting into the mans shoulder, he lands behind him.

The Pkers were definitely starting to get worried. This guy was fast, and seems to be a lot more powerful then first thought. Still, there are two of them vs just him, and even if he could move around to stay out of being flanked, he wouldnt last forever. The first Pker spins around, bringing his sword around to try to cut the player apart. However, neither player killer is able to land a blow after his movements.

Seldentar spins around, narrowly avoiding a weapon swing, as he brings his blade wide across, trying to slash into the first PKer again. His blade cutting into the mans side, and glowing red as it drains more of the mans HP.

The Pkers definitely thought they were in over there head now. With this strangers HP restoring itself as he fought, and him cutting apart their HP, they knew they had to end this fast to win. If the fight kept up at this rate, they would find themselves at the mercy of the same person they were trying to kill, and they didnt like that idea one bit. Moving to flank him, both of them charged in at him together. Being attacked from both sides, Seldentar is only able to defend against the first, as the seconds sword gets through.

Seldentar isn't deterred by being hit, as his own bloodlust rises that he uses to fight npcs usually. Still, he tries to keep a clear head, he doesn't want to kill them, just force them to back off. Even if they are criminals and murderers, the idea of him taking a life unless it was absolutely necessary was not appealing to him. He feigns a swing high, then brings his blade back around low at the first mans legs. The man sees through the feign, and parrys the attack.

The Pkers push their luck, taking advantage of his miss to counter attack hoping to overwhelm him before he can recover from his failed attack. After missing, Seldentar jumps back to avoid their attacks.

Seldentar pushes forward the second he lands, sword raised as he charges at the first of the PKers again. He wasn't going to let them beat him. He had to show them what happens when they mess with the wrong person, that might be the only way to show them this was a bad path they were on. At the last second, the man side steps, forcing him to miss his attack.

The Pkers spin around as Seldentars miss forces him to move past them, taking advantage of his stumble to move in and try to cut him down. He is unable to defend properly against either attack, both swords hitting him from behind.

Seldentar spins around angrily, jumping up into the air as he does, his triggering before he even realizes he was doing it. The motion assist brings him up, then back down at the first PKer, his sword driving down at the man. His sword cuts a gash in the mans side as he lands.

The first man had a look of growing concern as that last attack hit him. His health was in the red now, and the guy he was fighting wasnt even in the yellow yet. This was looking worse and worse by the second. They needed to end this now. Both pkers circle the man, taking opportunities to try to attack him. Seldentar manages to deflect the shots, dodging the ones he couldnt block.

As his skill cooldown runs out, his eyes begin to glow. He easily parries the last set of attacks, then rushes forward at the first, his Concentration skill active as he launches his counter attack. Even with his skill however, he finds he is unable to land a hit.

Having avoided his counter attack, the two PKers decide to rush him to try to keep him off balance. He was definitely strong, and his gear was giving him a powerful advantage. Their best bet was to keep him off balance now. He manages to recover, jumping back and away from them at the last second.

Seldentar holds his sword at chest height, and sprints forward with all of his strength and speed, lunging forward as he comes into range of the man he was fighting. His attack was powerful, knocking the man onto his back as the large gash did not seem to close nearly as fast as it should have afterwards. At the same time, Seldentars own HP restored a bit on the attack. He steps forward, putting his foot on the mans sword arm, and holding his sword to the mans throat.

"Thats enough. This fight is foolish. Are the two of you insane? You are really killing people! I have no desire to murder either of you. This is the only chance I am going to give you. Walk away now. Seek forgiveness, and do some good with the time you have left. You have a lot to make up for!"

Loot roll!

1 - 15: The PKers retreat, whether they learned there lesson or not, they realize the serious danger they are in

16 - 20: The PKers push their attack, forcing a fight to the death.

The man on the ground looks up, the blade inches from his throat. One wrong move on his partners behalf, and his life was forfeit. He looks terrified. His partner stands there, sword raised, weighing his options. They hadn't won the fight together, and now his friend was one thrust from death. Alone, he wouldn't stand a chance. Slowly, he lowers his own sword, sheathing it and raising his hand.

"Alright, you win. We will leave you alone and leave the area. Just let us go please."

Seldentar breaths a sigh of relief, and kicks the man on the grounds sword away from him then takes a step back. He doesn't sheath his own sword until both men have left the area, but he does not pursue them. What they do from that point on was their decision, if he ran into them again though...he wouldn't show mercy twice. They had their chance to repent and make good on what they have done, and if they chose to continue to walk the path of evil, he would put an end to it. Leaning back against a tree, he looks around, trying to decide where to go next.

After letting his Battle Healing skill to restore his HP, he decides its time to continue on. He still wanted to try to find the dungeon, and help start mapping it out. He figured if he could provide intel and be helpful, he could join the front lines and join in on the next boss battle.

Loot Dice!

1 - 5: Silver Tree

6 - 10: Normal monsters

11 - 17: Water Monsters

18 - 20: Dungeon Enterance
