[F01-SP] <<Nature's Treasure>>

Recommended Posts

The small bat hovered in the air out of reach for a moment. It was not stunned just weary the bat made a zig zag as if to attack. Valentine was reminded of a game called Pokemon. When a Zubat uses double team to dodge attacks. This time the attacks were stabs coming from a spear. The small bat was not a pokemon but it was still an AI with battle capabilities. Valentine could only imagine how much of a pain it would be if the bosses had abilities like that. The players would have to be almost god like.

The lack of hitting from both parties left them with a moment of respite. Val was breathing heavy as his energy levels continued to fall, he was sure if that small bat showed breath it would be breathing hard as well. This time they started to circle again. As soon as someone blinked the battle could end.

The spear was regaining its life in his hands as Val regained his stance. Valentine was keeping a heart as still as a pool of water, his spear was dancing around as it chased the small bat. He was doing his hardest to take the creature down so he could leave. He was making good time and wanted to get out of the cave. He refused to let the cave be the last thing he ever got to see.

The butt end of the spear whipped around to in a wide arc. It missed the bad by a small margin that allowed the small bat to come in for a nip. Valentine was calm the entire time as he continued to swing his spear, he ducked his body back after the nip to increase the distance. The spear came head back around to slice at the small bat further dropping its health.

A whistling sound was made as the spear in his hand sliced at the small bat, he hit it with another <<heft>>. The small bat health bar went down to one, it was unfortunate that the small bat maneuvered well. If Valentine was able to hit it with more accuracy and got a critical hit he would already be done. Valentine was able to look at the small bat and noticed the creature taking a red hue. The small bat had went berserk.

As if the small bat had taken steroids the speed seemed to have increased. The small bat looked as if was invisible as it reached his chest. The small bat ran into him like Miley Cyrus in a music video. The impact left Val reeling as his health dipped into the red. It put Val in a precarious situation. One hit from the small bat and he would die.

Valentine stared at the small bat before immediately going into his bag. He could not use his spear but if he remained open before he could drink the potion he would be a goner. The small bat may have only needed one hit to take down but he was in the same situation. If he aimed miss and got hit he would be dead. Valentine believed in being brave but taking an unnecessary risk was stupid. He started gulping before the small bat could react. The bat looked at Val before going on the attack.

Valentine was not an expert on simulated bat languages it did seem like the bat was cursing him and five generations of his family with the squeaks. It tried running into Valentine as soon as the potion was done. His features did not dare display the grin present in his heart. His face the usual level of rock.

Valentine was a lot more reassured now that the margin for error was lowered. The small bat could have ripped him to shreds if he relaxed earlier. He sidestepped the charge of the monotonous attack pattern. Even enraged it was still a floor 1 creature. If Valentine was not wounded earlier it should have been impossible for the creature to beat him. Well not impossible but highly unlikely.

Swirling his spear to hit the small bat was met with a quick dodged. The small bat stopped flapping to drop at the right time. Changing the altitude before going back on the attack. It worked as it was a new move. The small bat clawed at Valentines chest with a deeper feel, dropping his health faster than usual. When Val healed the less worry he had made him a bit reckless. If not he could have noticed the earlier move and went to intercept it. He could have stabbed the small bat in the chest ending the battle.

Valentine was more relaxed as he squared of against the small bat. A jab of his spear depleted the vestiges of the creature's health. It did not have time to cry out before it shattered. Valentine took a deep breath before retracting his spear. He checked the time on his menu and began to head to his next location. He did not want to keep Heal waiting at all. Being made to wait on purpose, was the kind of rudeness he was impossible of.

The cave was a challenging experience and Val made a mental note of the coordinates. There was the off chance that he would want to come back in the future. It was more of a noobie area. He could also take the time to train new people when they came to the area. If they could find tasteful things then it would not be bad at all. He walked out of the cave with all the stuff he collected to see the light of day.

Valentine stopped as he exited the cave. A small indent caught his attention. He was not in the mood to fight but figured he could check it out. The indent was not big and only took him a few minutes to look through it. It was nothing of note. It was not uncommon for loot and treasure on the lower floors to be cleared out faster than he could check them.

As he walked to his hotel room Valentine thought he made out well. He did not get as much in the way of materials and such as he believed he would have. So all he could do was go back with what he had. After he rested he figured he would make time to come out again. Even if the place was only okay, it continued more treasure and loot than what he could get at a random place. Perhaps he would come back next week.

2 SP - (1 page and 2.6 Farewell), 950 Col - (200 first mob, 350 second mob, 400 completed page, 11 - T1 Mats
