And with the final dragon dead at long last, that meant the group could move on to the castle. With all the gemstones stashed in their inventory, Chase grinned and looked over to the settlement by the ninth that they were on, quickly rushing on over out of the basin and right towards the teleporter. If anything, this was basically their shot at a dungeon somewhere near Grimm's level too- a great opportunity to train.

Despite rushing all the way right back home, Chase wasn't really ignoring Ozwald. He just decided to stay quiet until they were right by the gate, when he started taking foods out of his inventory and stuffing his mouth with them. Buffs of course, but even the martial artist could tell just how hyped he was for this. With a ton of buffs and his damage vastly increased, the bluehead was now ready to go right for the castle and beat up whatever was inside for a damn good weapon. "Think you're ready for this Ozwald?", the tank asked him as they stepped onto the teleporter and gave him a look to the side, grinning widely with an almost child-like glee in his eyes. This was about as ready and hyped for a fight as he could be, at any given point in his stay in SAO.

Ozwald didn't have that much trouble keeping up with Chase's frantic pace, he knew that the much taller man was frantic 1 because he wanted to get off of this floor, and two because he was as excited as Ozwald was to open the castle as he was. The pair made it back to the settlement in what was probably the record time for anyone coming down off of the basin at the top of the volcano.

Ozwald was fine with the silence of their walk, while he was naturally fairly talkative Ozwald didn't dislike the silence at all, it was something that he always enjoyed. When you were able to spend minutes not talking while with someone and have it remain comfortable, that was how you know you are getting close to someone. Watching as Chase stuffed his face full of buffs for the upcoming fight, Ozwald couldn't help but chuckle. "Yeah I think I am ready, though you'll probably be doing most of the heavy lifting." Ozwald made sure that all of his gear was ready before turning to the teleporter and stepping on "Let's go?" Ozwald asked ready for whatever happened on the next floor.

A nod was all that was necessary from Chase. The duo quickly made their way over to the tenth floor and Chase seemed to know exactly where to go- the only place that he hadn't gone on this floor, there was no other area for the castle to be hidden at. After all, he had seen it sealed (albeit from a distance) so he knew where to direct all of his attention.

When the two of them got closer and closer, the bluenette's pace just picked up more and more until eventually, they were standing before a gate with nine slots, all of which they had the keys, or rather gems, to put in. Approaching each indentation alerted Chase with a confirmation window, and as soon as he pressed his finger on the blue circle that stood for 'yes', the gemstone left both of the party members' inventory and appeared inside of each appropriate socket. Before long, all of the gemstones were fit in perfectly and the heavy doors started to drag against the ground, opening up to reveal a massive room before them and stairs leading higher up further to the back. Judging by the castle's size from outside, it was big. Ten floors or so, but you could only see so much from outside.

At the very middle of the room was an egg though, on top of an altar. It seemed just like the first hatchling's, but a bit different- larger? He couldn't quite tell. When the two entered the castle, the doors shut behind them as cracks started to form on the egg. Chase excitedly pulled his blade out only to see a human emerge from the broken shells; one with a spear, knight armor and colors matching to the first hatchling's. "... It's a boss.", he said with a grin and ran right towards it, beginning combat as soon as he could.

Ozwald watched as a man was birthed from the green egg standing in the middle of the room, and it was weird to say the least. hoping that he would never have to see that sight again Ozwald said "I think I am scarred for life. It has the same name as the first dragon, does that mean what I think it means?" Ozwald wasn't necessarily talking to Chase but rather the room as a whole but he was never opposed to Chase's insight on the matters at hand. Either way Ozwald decided it didn't really matter as he watched the knight's health bar fall rapidly thanks to Chase. Ozwald wasn't sure how much damage he would do so he opted for his most damaging sword art All Might. launching himself at the knight Ozwald watched the final bit of its health bar deplete leaving it with nothing left. It stopped before it really got to do much and exploded into particles of blue light.

And with the boss felled, stairs seemed to appear out of thin air before the duo to let them ascend over to the higher floors of the castle. This confirmed Grimm's and- obviously enough- ChaseR's suspicions about the place. "I'm sure it does. Let's keep going, there's eight more to kill if that's the case.", he said a bit too battle-thirstily and began to run up the stairs.

The blue boy got to the second floor and the same scene repeated before him and Ozwald who was rushing to catch up from behind. The egg cracked and from its shells appeared the next hatchling's knight form. A form that was quickly assaulted by the rain of blue with slashes, jabs and slams from the flat side of his blade, only to get repelled with a sword; or so it would seem before the wide gashes began to glow. Another near instakill from Chase as he looked back to Ozwald. "Come get your hits in so we can move on to the next floor, c'mon."

Ozwald was generally surprised to see Chase so battle thirsty, sure he had moments where he was more excited for combat, like against Smaug. He was normally a fairly unenthused man, and Ozwald wasn't sure if this side of Chase was a good or a bad thing. Despite these thoughts Ozwald followed him up the stairs, once again watching a full grown man hatch out of a large egg, it still being a bad experience that he wished would stop occurring. Chase rushed at the dragon knight, once again dealing the vast majority of its health in a single blow. Ozwald was hoping that this fight would go much the same as the last one, only taking two hits to defeat the knight, but that wasn't a reality. The dragon knight sidestepped the brawler's fist as he threw it making his fist fly harmlessly by him. chase would have to finish this one off, which wasn't a big deal it would just take more time.

Chase was all too aware of how excited he was. Be it because this felt like his first real 'dungeon' that he had discovered on his own or because he had set high expectations for the monsters, he was pumped to continue cleaving right through every single one of them. The prospect of an all too powerful weapon at the very end wasn't any less good, too.

Surprisingly enough, he used a different technique this time as he put all his balance on the back of his heels and spun, slamming the flat side of his broken sword right into the dragon knight's cheek, sending them flying to the side and shattering before they got the chance to hit the ground. "Off to the third.", he said with a low chuckle and began to ran right for the stairs that appeared before them, seeming unable to get enough. "Sorry if I'm rushing. But it's my first dungeon too, despite my level. Er... With people I trust at least. Or person. You.", he tried to explain and by the time he had, they were at the next floor with another large egg that a dragon knight broke out of. He scratched the back of his head, mumbling lowly to himself. "They're so fragile though... Maybe they'd be a challenge for Ozwald but..."

Ozwald watched as Chase killed the second of the dragon knights going up the stairs and watching as a third knight hatched out of an egg, something that Ozwald wanted to stop, but it seemed like that was never going to happen. Taking the initiative Ozwald launched himself forward, punching at the dragon knight, raking the claws on his gloves across its face tearing at its flesh. The attack took a large chunk of the dragon knight's health off, but not enough to kill it, it would once again be up to Chase in order to kill off the third knight. Ozwald was beginning to grow tired though, he wasn't high enough level as of just yet to be able to use so many high level attacks in a row without taking a pause. He knew that he would have to start cutting back, but Chase's excited behavior was contagious.

Although no verbal signal was given, Chase's duty was obvious- kill this, wipe the floor with it maybe, and then move on to the next one. He knew that with how low level Grimm really was though, they'd have to do something for all the energy he was expending. Otherwise, he'd be out of it for a fair while if he kept giving it his all while the bluehead killed everything rather effortlessly.

"If you're beginning to get tired, try cutting down on the damage. Use weaker attacks and since I bring them so close to death, just swoop in for the kill. I'll do the heavy lifting since my energy is way too much for my own good. You can give it your all when we reach something harder, alright? You should be able to tell from my damage on hit when my sword doesn't act up.". He meant that his sword would act up in a good way, but it was clear by now that they both knew. And with this floor taken care of after a swift slash from the blue boy, they moved up the stairs and the same nightmare inducing scene repeated. "... I didn't mind at first but it's starting to bother me a bit now."

"I know, it is probably stupid, but the idea of a fully grown knight hatching out of an egg. I hate it." Ozwald was still capable of joking around even though they were inside of a dungeon because he truly believed that Chase would be able to handle anything that was thrown at the pair. "Well I guess I will go." Ozwald said before running forward and leaping into the air, his foot outstretched towards the newly hatched dragon knight, this one resembling the icy dragon that they had fought against during their many battles with the dragons. Flying through the air was sadly a fairly obvious attack, and dodging it was almost as easy as it was to notice. Ozwald found himself flying past the knight landing into a roll behind it before standing. "Well that didn't work." Ozwald stood staring at the larger knight, although Ozwald had tried to attack it, it seemed as though it was focused on Chase instead.

There was nothing for Chase to disagree with. He gave a nod to the brawler and quickly moved in, following his missed attack, to slash at the dragon knight and take him down- sadly, even after he'd cut right into him, he was still standing. Much like the rest, he was just barely not with a fully depleted health bar. Whatever, this meant that Grimm could have the honors of taking him down himself now.

"It just slightly bothers me that I can't get kill them with a single hit, because look at the little health they have left... Speaking of which, we're clearing them way too fast, aren't we?", he proceeded to ask Ozwald before turning back to the knight, a slow and sluggish attack having been sent towards the bluehead. He dodged it with relative ease, sighing and giving a nod to his companion to take their opponent down swiftly.

Watching the newest dragon knights health rapidly deplete just like all of the others that had come before it was both satisfying and somewhat disappointing to Ozwald.  He liked the fact that there was no inherent danger really in these fights due to Chase's ability to tank everything they came across as well as almost destroy it in a single hit, but he wished there was more of a challenge, especially with how much effort they had put into getting to the castle on the tenth floor. "Yeah I know how you feel, I feel like we are just blazing through them, thanks to you mostly might I add." He knew who was doing all of the work in these fights, and it was not himself. Ozwald said this as he came before the hulking knight kicking him a few times before placing one final blow to the back of the neck, as graceful as a brawler could be.

Chase gave a sort applause and then moved on to the other end of the room, starting to scratch the back of his neck as he half closed one of his eyes, letting out a deep sigh of (mostly) disappointment. "It feels kind of embarrassing to be culling them this quickly... That's the thing with being high level though... I just hope there's something at the tenth floor more riveting than... this."

And accompanying his words comes his hand, pointing away at the same sequence of an egg appearing, shaking and a fully grown human hatching out of it. As awkward as ever, the knight charges at the duo and Chase charges right back. Stomping his feet on the ground, he runs at the knight and just at the right moment for complete obliteration, his sword lights up. With the ever so bright flash going throughout the room, the knight disappeared in full, and a groan left Chase's mouth. "Did... Kayaba just... not feel inspired at all..?"

"Yeah, I know if I were alone this would probably be a fairly difficult challenge, but with the two of us, it seems almost, boring I guess." Ozwald remarked as he watched Chase destroy a knight in a single hit, something that he was in no way capable of doing. After the customary light faded the pair made there way to the next floor the same scene happening before them, a knight hatching out of a dragon's egg. "I mean I can definitely see where he was going with his design of this combat, but over leveling is seriously killing the atmosphere." Ozwald casually remarked as he leapt forward raking the dagger like  claws attached to his gauntlets against several of the knights tendons, not only causing the knight to bleed profusely but also stunning him so that he could not make an attack against either of the pair before he was struck down by Chase's sword. "At least it won't be much longer to reach the top right? Only three more knights, if I remember right."

It didn't take much other than a nod before a sigh followed right up, filled with even more disappointment out of this whole dungeon. Chase went in fully excited, but it ended up being a mess because everything was too easy for his overleveled state. He was probably dumbing down the experience, and if the fight was way too tough, there were one, or rather ten, too many to make it enjoyable as a challenge.

"Mm... I feel even if it was at my level, it would be a complete mess. The bar would be too high, while right now it's way too low... I think even if I was your level, we could kill the monsters without taking any hits, unless the next ones get stronger. I... doubt it though.", he grumbled and began to walk towards the stunned knight, surprised to find himself raising his sword with both hands once more as he brought it down upon the knight, the blinding flash having started to irritate Grimm a lot less as instead, he could now view the sword's form with more and more ease. Maybe getting used to these portable flashbangs was a thing, after all. "And that's one less up the tower, let's go."

"I think it would be harder if we were both my level, less because of their health and damage but more for resource management." Ozwald explained to his stronger companion as the climbed the steps leading to the next floor of the tower, the place where they would be fighting their eighth dragon knight. The same scene as always unfolded before the pair. A large knight hatched out of a dragon's egg and stood waiting for the pair to charge guarding the way up to the next floor. Taking the charge Ozwald leapt into the air using a sword art called Leaping Crane, it wasn't as powerful as some of his others, but it had a nice stun effect. Ozwald was too predictable however as the knight just shifted his weight slightly letting the brawler harmlessly fly by. "Well I guess you will get the first chance this time." Ozwald called out as he landed on the floor opposite from where they had come in.

Ozwald had a point. On one hand, the quest might have been harder- on the other, granted they were prepared with food items, they would still be able to hit them back to back for a quick knockout, unless one of them missed. With a sigh, the man just shrugged. Whatever the case, off to finish this boss too. It was just a shame this was much more repetitive than they first anticipated rather than having more... 'puzzle' tones? Is that what Chase wanted?

And with his companion's miss, he ran right towards the enemy and slashed him down, his blade growing in size with light right before the hit connected. The light dispelled as soon as the slash had made its way to the other side, resulting in the dragon knight disappearing once more. So what else was left now? A fine question, really. He'd lost count, uncertain if there would even be a last one- most probably would be though. "I guess I'd be out of energy if we were lower levels, yeah. Let's keep moving on ahead, sigh."

"Yeah I know that where I am at I am running out of energy pretty fast." Ozwald sighed at how low level he was in comparison to Chase, he hoped that soon he would be just as strong but it was unlikely that that would be the case for a long time. The next floor was exactly like the floor below and presumably the floor above. A knight hatched and then the attack commenced. Ozwald ran forward charging into the fray just like the brawler he was. Ozwald dodged underneath the knight that was somewhat larger than a normal man raking his tiger like claws across his Achilles tendons and the backs of his knees before leaping into the air stamping his foot into the back of its head causing it to fall to the ground. The damage wasn't great but the creature was bleeding and seemed as though it would not stand up for a while.

Quickly following up right after Grimm's attack, the boy tried to throw the finishing blow at this one too. And before he landed his attack, he felt the light form the rest of the blade. By the time the swing should have connected and knocked Dagahra out clean, it... failed. The light never fully formed a blade and if anything, after this many uses it dispersed into the air around them into little white wisps that disappeared.

And then the dragon knight got up. Wary, Chase walked back and looked at Grimm with a slow nod. "Punch it hard and see if you can take it out. If you run out of energy, I'll take out the rest. I was relying on holy too much for my reach.", he sighed and rubbed the back of his neck with an awkward smile, as their opponent shook off the stun and prepared to block the next attack coming his way and smack whatever got in the way.

Ozwald compared the health bar of the dragon knight to his maximum damage, figuring that he wouldn't be able to kill it in one hit no matter what he did, unless of course he got his bleed to go off and the knight died from that. "I don't think I can take him out, not with one hit." Ozwald admitted to his fighting companion and friend. Nevertheless Ozwald was never one to back away from a challenge, opting instead to listen to Chas and go in for the most damaging attack that he could. Using the system and sword arts allowed Ozwald to send a devastating punch towards the knight that would have felled most creatures, that was of course only if he hit, which in the case of the faster knight he did not. The knight stepped back just enough in order to dodge the enhanced punch, leaving it ready for a counterattack.
