[PP-F2] <<Feeding the Enemy>> (Will & Raidou)

Will chuckles as he walks along. "Shouldent be to hard" Will says in an attempt to cheer him up. "I'm not here to kill it. I'm here to tame it! I imagine a fight with it would be rather........ difficult." He admits.

[Raidou 1]

Raidou comments "Yeah well i hope it takes your bait, and doesn't decide to: eat us, burn us or maim us!" as they reach the end of the stair case, coming to the peak of the mountain. Seeing what looks to be eggs at the top, Raidou replies "oh great its nest, you know they get more aggressive when they are defending its young!"

Will grins upon seeing the eggs before turning to Raidou. "Do they?" He asks with interests. "How do you know that?" He asks before shrugging. "Are you an information broker or something?" he asks as he starts carefully climbing the stairs towards the nest.

[Raidou 1]

Raidou shouts out "yeah all animals get protective of their young, don't you read ever!, what are you going to do if big old momma bird comes down here". Raidou quickly pauses, as a dark shadow passes over the peak of the mountain.

Will slowly turns his attention to the other player a shadowed grim expression crossing his features. "You just had to jinx us didn't you......." he mutters coldly as the shadow grows bigger and bigger.

[Raidou 1]

Raidou screams out "Do whatever the heck you came here to do and lets get the hell out of here!, I'll buy you time", drawing his weapon and beginning to swing it wildly to reflect the moonlight of its metal sheen.

[Will 0]

Will runs to the top of the nest with a panicked expression. "Damn." he mutters as he spots several eggs one with a strange green markings and no young "Theres only a eggs up here and it needs to be alive for it to work!" He yells down to the other player picking up the green marked egg and running down to the ground level.

[Raidou 1]

Raidou yells back "Well you run down inside the mountain" as he swings upwards into the mother phoenix dealing 2 damage and it doing 3 damage back. Once his safeguarded target makes it into the mountain Raidou dives in, barely avoiding its talons and falling down the stairs.

As They begin to run down the stairs a swath of fire shoots trough the entry way the ran out of as the mother phoenix breaths a resoundingly hot breath of flame matching even the heat of the lava below startling Will and causing him to trip and drop the green patterned egg into the pi of lava below. "Nooooo!" He yells in both frustration and desperation as he watches the egg fall and sink into the lava.

Raidou gets up and dusts himself off, "Well I guess we can just go get another".

Will ignores his suggestion as he desperately looks down at the patch of lave just sunk into. "Hey um......... guy? Is it normal for lava to glow green." he asks as he points his finger down at the pool of lava that is now glowing a sickly green cooler. "And is it just me or is it getting hotter inn here?" the heat in room begins to soar.

Raidou looks down puzzled, "No that's not normal, that only occurs in Hawaii!" he rebuts "does this look like Hawaii!?" then muster his strength, and peels his escort from the opening the green heat was emanating from.

[Will 0]

"Wait!" Will says with a large grin as he opens his inventory producing a strange blue pill tossing it into the lava. "I think that phoenix is hatching the egg was strangely marked green!" he says with excitement. "And if i'm correct throwing the special item in that phoenix lava will grant me a new pet." He says with an excited and confidant grin as he continues to walk down the slope stopping at the end watching as the sickly green lava continues to pulsate.

Raidou sits back in wait, curious exactly what effect whatever was dropped will have on the now unworldly green fluid. the scent of brimstone seems to vanish, and the scent of lavender becomes strong, with a hint of ash obviously the composition of the pool below has changed. looking down, Raidou spots the entire floor of lava begin to pool around the center, drawing away from the sides like a tsunami about to crash along a beach. Manifesting into an orb of green liquid in the center it bursts, freeing a magnificent light.

Will Shelters his eyes as the blinding light explodes out the lava. A loud ear piercing screech can be heard as the light dies down slightly. Will uncovers his eyes as he looks face to face with a rather large green flamed phoenix that suddenly flew up stopping in front of the two a dry heavy heat washes over them as it draws closer.

Raidou's fight or flight response kicks in over seeing this now otherworldly presence in the room, Quickly grabbing his ally around his collar and activating sprint Raidou's feelings where summed up in a single word "NOPE!" as he rips across the gap faster then last time, although this time carrying more weight makes the jump, at greater expense to his well-being. Raidou slams into the side once again taking 2 damage, this time harder and faster slingshot-ting his unwilling hopscotch participant . Raidou then spider-like precedes to back up, backside first to avoid falling into the lava below.
