Then, he thought about his commission. He didn't go to check if his sword was ready, but ready or not he had to pay. "Cols.. or materials?" that's what he was thinking, but Cols may have been useful for potions or something else, so he was thinking materials were the right choice. "But where I could drop materials?" that was the problem, then by a logical thought, miners extract materials from caves. So, he recalls that above of the northwest and northeast regions, there are ruins and valleys, places where you should be able to find miners. Among the various arguments, he spent hours to think about it then he just fell asleep on the bed. It was early morning when he woke up, he just got some water to drink in the inn and then he walked away. As he got outside of the town, he started running to reach the ruins as soon as possible. Yami 0 Posted August 14, 2014 Author #2 Report Share Posted August 14, 2014 After hours, leaving Starting City and running over the northwest region, reaching a region which contained ruins. Yami never explored that region, so he had to stay alert where he could find monsters. He had to get at least 9 materials, but perhaps other spare would not hurt. He wasn't exactly sure if he was able to take 9 or more just with a little farming as he had no potions and other ways to heal himself, unfortunately Yami was reckless as always. He's able to find some Kobold Miners, so he wields his sword, preparing to attack. As he runs over a Miner, as he let it follow him in order to fight only with it, he swings his blade, but it dodges the blade. "Dammit." Not the best start, but miners were looking like low level monsters, so Yami was calm. Still, he had nothing to heal himself, although he did not care at that time. Yami moves away from the miner, trying to be more careful to its movement. For now, the only monsters he defeated were Frenzy Boars, perhaps the miners could have been a bit harder, it was a silly choice to go without a healing potion or a healing skill. When he reaches it, he does a horizontal swing with his blade, causing a cut to the miner. After this strike, Yami was thinking everything was right and probably not there was no need to take any potions or skill. Noticing the miner's HP, Yami was relieved as it was just in need of another few attacks. "For any Miner should need two or three successful attacks in order to defeat them.." he was guessing. Yami's plan was the same, to let just one of the miners follow him in order to fight it alone, he thought it was the best plan to kill monsters and keep a good HP number. Just arrived, Yami charges against the miner. As Yami attacks, the miner dodges. Not another good start as well, but after all it does not matter. Damage you do when you hit it, is important. Yami's objective was to drop materials, not to do the most damage possible. So, he just keeps his gaze at the miner, waiting for a possible counter-attack. His first damage during the farming, Yami didn't care much. After all, it was just a low amount of HP. While he still had a good amount of them, the miner had less HP than him. As he tries to hit the miner, it dodges and the glow disappears. "This monster is fast.." that's what he thought when it dodged his attack. Trying to do a better damage focusing on the sword is useless if you don't catch it, right now he could just wait for a possible counter-attack and try to block or dodge it. So, he just kept his gaze at the miner. Yami runs over it and tries to hit him, but the miner dodges. Obviously, Yami was not happy about it, he was beginning to lose patience. "This miner is annoying.." exhales slowly as he thinks that, his initiative was to kill the miners and get those materials quickly, but looks like it wasn't the case. He was already annoyed that the miner was able to dodge his attacks more than a few times, then if it was able to hit him.. Yami was seriously annoyed by that. "...Sonic Leap!" shouts as he runs behind the miner, doing a top to bottom vertical slash. As he hits the miner, he moves away. Finally, Yami was able to hit it, probably just another hit or two and the miner should not be a problem anymore. So, he was aiming for another successful strike. It wasn't so exhausting, but annoying. So, Yami just walked away, going to fight the last one. He could not say those ruins were a nice place, the forest is surely better. He runs over it, doing a vertical slash on it then he moves away. "Great." he said, finally a good start! Could not say the same about the other two, which required some time. The miner's HPs were low, probably just another hit or two and it should be down. Keeping his gaze at the miner, he prepares for another attack.
