[PP-F2] Earning a Living-Cook [Claim]

That was funny, Hikaru could have sworn she just heard Claim murmur something.

But when he turned back around and smiled she could feel herself relax even more. Coming up to stand beside him Hikaru found herself bewitched by the scenery in front of her. It was absolute stunning. Only it was very quiet. Not exactly sure if that was normal or not she shot Claim a questioning gaze, and then habitually put her hand on the hilt of her sword once more.

In this game she had learn that the dead quiet, the one where you can clearly hear yourself think, was almost never the kind of quiet one wanted to wander into. Then again, she had never been here before, so it just may be normal.

He was a little neves that the animal that were here before had just moved off he slids down the hill with sword in hand as he thought to him self hopefully it wasn't a spawn pot for most of the areas mods. He looks around as he brushs off most of the dirt from his pants. He didn't see any mods but then again his search was allmost nonexistent. He lookd up at were Hikaru then back at the cove as started to walk to the small pond.hopefully the mushrooms would be around there still.

With his sword out Hikaru was getting the feeling that this was not normal.

Making the grip on her blade firmer, just in case, the young girl then followed his example and slide down the dirt bank. Coming to the bottom Hikaru didn't even bother to wipe the dust that had gotten on her off. Instead, she was more concerned with following Claim and making sure his back was covered. It was the least she could do since he was helping her finding these stupid mushrooms. Hopefully they were here...somewhere.

With her head on a constant swivel she kept alert to her surrounding in case a mod decided to show up and pay them a visit.

He slowly made his way to the pound with each step he was carefully not to make to much sound. as they got closer to the pound he would see a single a single wolf taking a drink from the waters edge He couldn't see much detail from the wolf. As he looked around not sure if the wolf was alone but not seeing any others. He looked back at Hikaru as he pointed toward the wolf.

Why is that every time she ran it a monster in this forest, it was a wolf?

Sighing, more to herself than anyone, Hikaru got lower to the ground and drew her sword only slightly. Right now the wolf was just drinking from the pond. They were still too far away to see the name that hovered over the wolfs head, but there was no way that it was the same one from earlier. That just wouldn't be possible.

The temptation to sneak forward and see what kind of the type of wolf was strong. But Hikaru held her ground and waited patiently. Plus, the wolf had not noticed them yet so there was a chance that they would get away without it noticing. Since Claim was helping though, she would leave that decision to him.

he looked around and carefully walk a little closer to the wolf putting some distance between him and Hikaru he didn't want the wolf to go out and attack her first if i had noticed them He would rather take the most of the damage as he got closer he noted that off to the left of the wolf was a small dark wash out were he had seen the mushrooms before. He think to him self that if they got passed it. It would more an like see them once they got to the wash out. " Why not" He would shake his head as he darted at the wolf just inch before he got to it the wolf would turn around and look at Claim as its eyes turned red. He would take a swing at the beast as his sword cut throw its skin like a hot knife through butter.

Without so much as a second thought Claim was approaching the wolf was his sword drawn.

His first attack was not only successful, but a critical hit as well, lowering the wolfs once ten hit points to a measly three. Now Hikaru rushed past Claim and toward the wolf drawing her sword as she moved. Unfortunately the wolf now realized that it was no longer alone, and therefore was able to dodge Hikaru's attack by bounding over her four foot fame and then skidding to a stop.

In frustration her eyebrows knitted together and a frown adorned her features. Using the momentum, and placing pressure on her foot, the young fighter than pivoted herself around so that her back was no longer facing her opponent. Hopefully, while she had it distracted Claim was make the final kill.

wolf

The wolf looks at Hikaru that had missed it. Then back at Claim, the wolf eyes turn a red and it would show it's teeth. It jumps at claim. tries to bite his arm, and him to the ground but claim could see that it had taken a little bit to long to plain its attack,He took a few step back so that the wolf only bite's down only on air. The wolf would land on its feet as it looked at the players. Mad that it didn't hit the player

He would see the wolf jump over hikaru with no problem at all he rushed the wolf as it stumbled. He smiled a bit as he swings his sword. Not paying much attention to his hit gage he swing a to early as his sword would hit the ground next to the wolf. A shocked look on his face appeared as he mumbled " I missed you this time, if you live long enough to see my sword again it will end you" He had a hate look across his face as he looked down at the wolf.

While Claim had the beast distracted Hikaru deiced that she would once again try and land at hit. Bring the sword up near her face she then rushed from behind the animal to try and get a hit from behind. Only, while running in for the strike, the girl thought that she saw a glimpse of the mushroom that the duo had been searching for. It only took that second for the sword to slide a quarter of an inch and completely miss.

With her focus returning just in time to see the miss Hikaru held up her sword prepared to defend, just in case Claim could not get there fast enough.

Wolf

The wolf looked at claim and would show its teeth as he lunged at claim again. His red eye would look at claim arm as he bites down hard on his left arm as the wolf landed on its feet it with claims arm still in it mouth it tired to him pull down. claim would loses his footing as the wolf pulled him down and land on his side.

With his left hand still caught in the wolfs mouth and him laying on his side. He grip his sword and looked at the wolf as he took a quick swing at its face .The wolf sees the blade come and would let go of his arm so it could jump back as the blade would hit nothing but air. With his arm now free he get up to his feet with a little annoyed look on his face that he had missed.
