There is 3 items left on the ground where they once stood. Raidou walks around and collects them up, looking at them "None of these are what we are looking for." he says with a frown. Placing them all in his dry-bag Raidou begins to inspect his surroundings. Further inspection on the rock wall behind the creatures, under the moss yields a cavern. Eruda 0 Posted August 26, 2014 #22 Report Share Posted August 26, 2014 Elda follows Raidou to the cavern and stands outside the entrance of it while watching her step trying not to further damage her ankle. "Anything worth a dam in there Raidou," Elda calls out to him as she readjusts here footing trying not to stand on her sprain ankle anymore than she has to. Raidou comes sprinting out very rapidly, his face a bit disfigured with a "NOPE!". Coming to a slide as he reaches a few feet from the opening, he flips around and draws his blade. Presiding in the cavern, unbenounced to Eruda was a very large Nepent, a very very large Nepent. Raidou waits for the beast to manifest itself outside the cavern with sword drawn. She then gets in a fighting stance and pulls her weapon out too, also waiting for the creature to close the distance between us. Raidou has just a moment to act before the creature can strike back. Raidou runs in and slams against the massive beast. At the last minute Elda's ankle give out and she falls on all fours. Elda on all four looks up at the monster being a foot away. The monster growls very loudly at Elda making her hair frizz backwards. At that second Elda starts crawling very fast to Raidou and getting to her feet half way and running the rest of the distance to him. "Well that happened," Elda says with a frown on her face looking a the giant creature. The attack comes in ferociously, leaving Raidou only a second to react. Shifting his legs apart his stance deepens to distribute the weapons weight, Raidou draws the weapon up his sleeve with grace and sparks. As the swing is inbound, Raidou prepares quicker as he rotates. Slamming against the Nepent, their momentum collides as both are knocked ajar sliding back. Due to each of their defenses neither take any damage. With a quick pivot Raidou increases the blades inertia using its own weight. The end connects, leaving a large glowing slash as Raidou fully rotates and does a quick cartwheel backwards on his left hand. Elda giggles a bit then realizes it's her turn. Returning to a fighting stance Elda tries to run at the creature again. Elda runs at the creature with her weapon in hand. As she is running her weapon suddenly feels a bit greasy in her hand and Elda drops her sword. The sword spins on the ground back toward Raidou. Elda stops dead in her tracks realizing she had no sword and looked back at Raidou then down at the ground were the sword had landed. With a sigh and pure humiliation, Elda runs toward Raidou and bends down to yank the sword from the ground. Elda which is now stand next to Raidou again says almost in tears "I'm sorry I'm such a disappointment Raidou!" As she gets into another fight stance ready to try again. The blow moves pretty slowly toward Raidou, not making contact at all. When Elda gets close enough the monster growls so loud that it makes Elda fly back closing the distance between her and Raidou. Elda slides on her butt landing at Raidou's feet. Elda now sitting at Raidou's feet, looks up and says "Your turn," with a frown on her face because she can't seem to hit the monster at all. Elda sits there for a second then scrambles to her feet getting ready to attack again. Raidou's blade glows, as Raidou yells out "Grand Mass «Parry»!" hardly ever used sword art. Two quick rotations build tons of momentum, and with the completion of the second rotation Raidou stops down the raised foot and pushing out increasing the inertia further. All of the blow collides with the creature, as even the massive creature skips one time from the blow. Raidou jumps straight up, and slashes down at the plant. Sliding slightly out of the swing, the monster is still clipped hard. Elda swings her sword from left to right and slashes the monster in. Elda says after returning to Raidou's side "Well at least I hit this time!" she said with a grin on her face. Giving her a thumbs up with his left hand, Raidou's weapon glows blue as he concentrates on his next attack. The blade comes down quickly, slamming hard into the plant dealing some damage. Elda prepares herself for another attack hoping to hit. Elda trys striking at the beast but instead Elda ankle becomes really weak again making her fall down on her hands and knees after a couple steps forward. Almost in tears from the pain Elda looks to Raidou with a frown and says "I'm sorry that I'm not much help." Elda gets to her feet and readjusts her footing waiting to attempt to attack again while staring at the ground, then the creature, then the ground again.
