Real World

Fae was born in America to a middle class family, and to any on looker who viewed the family from an outside point of view, it was a completely normal and average family, and to Fae for the longest time that was true. Fae's mother was a woman who truly made herself, the embodiment of what people called the American dream. She started in a low income family, and was now a fairly prominent woman in business, the only things keeping her from even greater heights being her family. Fae's father on the other hand was an artist, one who painted the beauty that was the natural world, the plants and animals and all of the secret places that no one could see for what they were. This life was happy for Fae, that was until she got to middle school. Fae's mother finally seemed to get fed up with her father someone she deemed as a struggling artist, evident by the distance that was slowly growing until finally she left, leaving behind her daughter and husband with not so much more than the clothes on their back. 

Life was hard for Fae at first seeing all of the people around her leading their normal lives, but in high school, Fae realized that what she had wasn't something to be taken for granted. Her father supported her and pushed her to grow as a human and to see the world in a way that not a lot of the people around her saw it. Inspired by her father Fae  pursued art in the form of food that could live up to the hopes of her father. These practices and dreams continued into her college career and beyond her father falling ill. Cooking was a passion that kept her going, one that tied her to the only person who really ever showed her what true compassion for humanity was. Her father's passing was a gauntlet for Fae, one that she would not have made it through without one person. Kas pulled her out of that darkness, and stayed with her long until after he had to. 

Kas introduced Fae to the world of video games, and while not something that she had a lot of interest in, it was something that they could share together. It was Kas who managed to get them each a pair of nerve gear, and it was him that recommended that they play Sword Art Online when it came out. Unlike usual Fae was drawn to this game for the same things that drew her to nature, the beauty that was clearly hidden from view. All of the trailers showed towns and monsters, but that wasn't what interested Fae, it was the landscapes, the way that they mimicked the real world in a way that almost made the game look real. It was for this reason that without any reluctance Fae dove into SAO with Kas.

SAO Early Years

Logging into SAO was like a dream, virtual reality was even more amazing than Fae had ever thought, everything was practically real, and she could feel it under her feet. Kas and Fae didn't hesitate to get a start on the new game, moving their way through the rolling fields of the first floor, together getting a hang for the sword arts, and feeling comfortable against the boars that showed their faces in the region. The difference between Fae and Kas could be easily seen in the beginning, with Fae donning a small straight sword and light armor that made her movements free, whereas Kas wielded a mighty sword, and dawned a set of armor that complimented his blonde hair. Everything was fun until suddenly a blue light enveloped the pair as they were walking through the fields. Suddenly finding themselves in the middle of the town, their avatars being replaced by mirrors of themselves from the real world. A dark cloaked figure stood in the sky, and explained what would soon become the second most horrible memory in Fae's mind, that they were now trapped in this death game. 

Months passed by slowly as Kas and Fae mulled about on the first floor, too scared to try to find a way out with some of the other brave people out their hunting. It had finally become too much for Kas as he decided that he was going to go out there and find for himself the way up to the next floor to get them out of this horrid experiment. Fae couldn't let him go alone, and so together they set out, leaving behind the walls of the city and the safety that they provided. Kas' heroics could be considered admirable, but heroics alone can't make everything go your way, and Fae and Kas would soon learn that. On their journey the pair ran into what could only be described as a wandering boss, a hulking creature, green skilled pulled tight across lanky limbs bone and sinew easily being seen underneath. It was too late to run by the time they realized how much trouble they were in. Rotten fangs poked out of the creature's mouth, a mouth that was pulled back into an evil grin, saliva dripping down it's mouth as it stared down at the pair. One blow from the lanky troll's club sent Fae sprawling feet through the air to land on the ground, more than three fourths of her health gone, even with her lack of armor she couldn't get out of the way in time. Fae looked up from the floor to look at Kas, a smile on his lips, the sun surrounding his head like a Halo, only one sentence came out of his mouth, telling Fae to run and that he would catch up to her. Fae didn't even think as she ran, not even registering the meaty thud that was clearly the final moment for Kas, only thinking that they had to make it back to town.

Fae didn't know how long she ran for before the walls of the beginner village appeared in front of her,  it had felt like an eternity, finally passing through the gates Fae collapsed on the floor and sat there staring out into the meadows. Three days passed before Fae finally gave up, knowing that Kas wouldn't be returning. Fae stood and walked, not knowing where she was going until she found herself standing over a bridge a place where she had seen more than aa few people take there lives. Fae stared out at the water below, not registering the silent tears that rolled down her face and fell below into the abyss. Only one thought played in her mind, and it was the image of Kas, always the hero, halo of sun surrounding him, not showing any of the fear that he was obviously feeling as he told her to flee. It was that scene that stopped Fae, collapsing backwards of the ledge back onto the bridge Fae swore that that would be the kind of life she would live up to, and swore that she would avenge Kas, a fiery determination inside of her.

Honorable - Fae always keeps her word, promises are something that have always held a strong sway over Fae, especially after her mother and Kas. No matter what kind of promise Fae makes she keeps it unless she is physically unable to accomplish the task she set out. This has gotten her in over her head on occasion, especially when paired with her want to help people.

Compassionate - Fae has a deep compassion for people, no matter what their circumstances. Fae strives to help the people around her, often times whether they want the help or not, never wavering on the thought that everyone needs a helping hand sometimes. Fae tries to live up to the ideals left behind with her friend Kas.

Trustworthy - Fae has always been the kind of person someone can rely on in their need, and while in SAO she doesn't have much to offer, Fae tries her best to keep that persona up. Even if Fae can't give much, she will give everything she has when someone requests her help.

Codependent - Fae has a need to fell useful, bad enough that it is a problem. fae will commonly make promises that are detrimental to her, and go along with people's plans even if they aren't good because she needs to feel useful. Fae can't live without the feeling that someone might actually be relying on her for her help.

Naïve - Fae always thinks of the good in people first and foremost, whether that trust is at all deserved. Fae can almost never recognize the bad habits or wrong doings of the people in front of her, unless they are incredibly obvious. This naivete has led to Fae on numerous occasions overlooking the red flags of the people around her.

Unsure of herself - Fae rarely ever thinks she will have a good idea, and even less so thinks that she would ever be able to lead. Fea is not quick to express her opinions when working with others and is far more likely to just go along with what she is told.

Fairy's Dance: [Cloth Armor; T1 Perfect] This cloth armor is kept light to make movement as easy as possible, almost as if the wearer were a fairy dancing through the air. The armor consists of a pair of tight, but not constricting white pants, a pastel purple shirt tucked into the pants somewhat loose for ease of movement. The selling point however is the half cloak, a mixture of pastel pink and blue this cloak has a hood and covers all of her body stopping at her mid stomach. The most important part of the cloak however are two pieces of cloth trailing from the shoulders and stopping at the lower back, when one moves in the cloak the cloth flutters giving the look of fairy wings.
