Has a pale skin and lack any cosmetics for the most part. - Profession: -- === Background: Failure and disappointment to her family, Evangelina was a daughter of artisan and artist, who used to live under their care for more than two decades. Born weak and growing in a conflicting family, girl didn't turn out to be what everyone around was hoping for. Making little progress in her life besides the eleven school years, she came out of these experiences traumatized and jaded in regards to the real world and people she interacted with daily. There were only a few ones she could call friends, whose company she tolerated enough to enjoy spending nights in video games with. As for interests, she had shown short-lived curiosity for a variety of obscure and odd topics, like medieval alchemy, art of intrigue, and esoteric subjects. Over the course of the second decade of her life, she discovered particular passion for fantasy genre and turned to drowning her anxieties and discomforts in escapism. Staying under grudgingly provided care by her parents, Evangelina knew she was living on a borrowed time, until one day news about upcoming SAO project reached her. Gaming addict she was, Eva did all she could to secure fantastic NerveGear device and a copy of a game, even agreeing to work a part-time job for her parents' sake. On the day of release, along with other thousands of players, she entered world of Sword Art Online and ended up becoming victim of malicious plan that left participants hostages. Where many others saw this infringement on their rights and despaired, however, Evangelina recognized the freedom and a new beginning this situation offered her. Now she was a different person, who faced the alien world with newfound resolve, healthier body, and a firm belief in living life she always desired. Eva decided to take upon the role of a "mysterious magician": to explore the Aincrad and help others along the way, all the while keeping her devotion for the cruel, yet liberating hand of the game's creator. === Virtues: - Lawful. Eva believes in the virtue of "order": she values responsible relationships, mutual respect, lack of meaningless and disruptive emotions many humans tend to manifest. This extends to making sure none of the innocent or helpless are brought to harm, nor stripped of their dignity. She might not be a good person per se, but makes well sure to be the *right* person; - Communal. Ironically, despite being more of a recluse, she feels herself rather well when working in a group or community, striving for unity and achieving the relative greater good for the majority. More than that, she can still understand the value of individual and is generally interesed in making sure any circle runs fairly and properly, even if it inconveniences herself; - Driven. Evangelina's made-up faith might not be a genuine religious conviction, but it serves as a great way to channel her inner passions through and add meaning to her actions. She hopes that one day her efforts might be recognized, but for now is content with following through with small rituals and short prayers that fill her with determination and add color to the daily mundanity when situation arises; === Flaws: - Zealotry. The opposite side of her approach to people, is that Eva demands similar devotion to order from those around. She might not condemn every single misdeed, but is always vigilant and waiting to judge someone. In extreme cases, she might even turn on former ally, if she thinks they have crossed the line or became too dangerous; - Mental Issues. Eva carries a number of highly unpleasant memories and traumas from her past, which left her socially challenged, more so when it comes to managing mundane life. Being locked into a fantastical world of SAO somewhat mitigates this, but she is by no means free from the past, which comes up as grim moods, limited ability to relate to others, and her odd behaviors; - Desire for Recognition. When dust settles down, Eva ends up on her own and facing same feeling within: she desperately craves someone or something to recognize her and justify the difficulties girl goes through.
