Steel 0 Posted August 29, 2014 #1 Report Share Posted August 29, 2014 "Where am I now?" Steel asked himself as he was wandering through the forest. Earlier, he had accepted a quest where he had to find something in the forest by killing a certain Little Nepent. However, he couldn't find even a normal nepent, let alone the special one. Of course, I can't find a single one of them when I actually need to. He thought to himself remembering how he ran into a ton of them last week when he was looking for wolves to fight. It was then he spotted the a little nepent a bit away. Yes, I've found one. Even if it's not the special one, that's something! He thought with excitement as he decided to sneak up on it. As he walked a little closer towards it, he could see that it wasn't just one, but 3 of them and they were all attacking a girl he didn't know. At this, a memory from the real world flashed into his mind. The memory consisted of when his little sister was attacked by some stray dogs and how he had the urge to protect her during that time. Even though this girl was most likely not his sister since the said sister wasn't old enough to play the game, he felt that same protective urge and ran towards the scene. As she walked deeper into the forest, she had been attacked by three mysterious creatures that she have not seen before. She took out her rapier to defend herself, but had a feeling that somebody was watching her. She could take on these three creatures without much problem, but she thought there was someone around. However, they were missed their target but weren't giving up so easily. However, she was a bit curious about why he would show up out of nowhere, was he following her? You can never be to careful in a game like this. She charged up towards the other Nepent, and struck it with her trusty rapier. Steel exclaimed before swinging at another of the little nepents that was about to attack Rebekah in her blind spot, his sword hitting its target and causing it damage. Steel moved so that he would take the hit and took some damage from the plant creature. She had easily slaughtered the nepent that she started attacking in the beginning. Combat was slowly becoming second nature to her as her rapier skills have improved. Steel said to the girl fighting by his side as he slashed at another one of the little nepents with the sword skill Horizontal. The nepent charges right at her, however, it had hit her battle coat, and she did not feel anything at all. She looked up at Steel, "Ready to finish them?" she asked. With a shout, he slashed at the nepent that began to sneak up behind Rebekah. The nepent that got hit shattered into data fragments. "You gotta watch your 6!" Steel said with a teasing tone. "But at least for now, I can watch it for you." That was an easy battle and she turned to Steel, "Do you want the only drop out of the three nepents?" she asked. She was just wandering in the wild today, and had not expected to see someone searching for something.
