Although she was the middle she was always a happy little girl. Her older sister is five years older than her and wasn't in her life much besides when she was born. Her sister and her mother left her father when she was young and left her with her father. Even though she never grew up with an actual mother her father did whatever he could do to make sure she was happy and that would include spoiling her with whatever she want. As most people with this situation would be selfish about what they have, Miyuki wasn't that way. She felt that she didn't deserve to have anything since she didn't deserve to have her mother in her life. But what little she lacked, she had more bond with her father. About when she was five years old, her father remarried. Although it took her a while to get comfortable with her new mother, she deeply was excited. Not only for her but for her father as for many years he felt like he failed to keep the family together. The three of them spent many days together as her step-mother treated her just like her very own daughter. That being said she wasn't going to be the only child for to long as she became a big sister to a little brother. As she got older she fell more in love with sports and book. But not just any sports and books. She did Kendo as well as volleyball and baseball and absolutely loved it. As for books she fell in loved with history. Especially the Edo era of the Japanese history. Reading many books about samurai's, she started to master the art of the samurai. All her friends thought she was a warrior trapped in a modern girl body with how much she absolutely loved the samurai. While in her 1st year in high school, she met a nerdy boy in her homeroom. He had a fascination in video games as well as samurai and ninjas. One day he showed her a MMO that let's you play as many classes including the samurai and manage to get her to try the game. She fell in love with the game and absolutely spend her off days playing the game with him. But then the day happen when they were releasing the game Sword Art Online and he manage to get the game and ask if she would join it with him. She was so excited to play a new type of game in the VR world so she asked her dad to get the equipment and the game and started to play the game. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The adventure of the lonely Samurai ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Joining up on the game she spent the first two hours setting up her rig and her account. But once inside, she found it amazing the fact they manage to make a game look so real. The only thing is, she didn't like the fact she cant move her body in the real world. But that fear will change once she found out she couldn't log out of the game. The only thing she could do was to find her friend and try to stick together until the end but she never manage to find him. She felt abandon in a new world with no one. Looking all over the area she sees everyone with friends from the real world. All different kind of people from different areas of the world. The amazing thing is, everyone can understand each other no matter what language they spoke in the real world. For the first few months of the game she hid in the Town of Beginnings waiting for the day she would find her friend or try to find a way to survive the death game. It didn't work very well. She knew in order for her to get out of here is to beat the game and in order to do that she had to find new friends and companions and grind the game to get to the front lines and help beat this game once and for all. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Virtues ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Spoiler Outgoing: For most of her life she was always an outgoing person. She got along with everyone and not many people hated her. That being said she never had a hard time trying to find friends or help when she needs it. Loyalty: From when her mother and sister left her, to having a new brother and step-mother, Miyuki never once thought about abandoning her family. She felt like she owe it to her father and brother to show her loyalty to them to make sure they were happy even if she was hurting inside. Although she's loyal to her family, she is also loyal to the ones who support her in her daily life and will continue through out the time. Determined: Even though her mother vanish from her life at an early age, it never stopped her from reaching her goals. She didn't let things bother her knowing that she never had an actual mother that cared for her. That being said, she would never have anything get in her way into succeeding of what she is wanting to do between her real life matters as well what's going on in the game. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Flaws ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Spoiler Willful: From being stuck in the game, Miyuki began to cancel anyone out that was around her. That being said though she never expect people to come up to her and ask for help and if they do she normally turn them down. On the other hand she wouldn't be afraid to go up to other's for help if needed. Communication: Due to being alone for the first few months of being in Aincrad, Miyuki tends to have a hard time trying to communicate with others and she feels that she doesn't belong in the conversation or in groups.While talking to people to get started with quest or adventure she would remain silent and show little to no ability to talk to people to let them know what's going on. Self-Esteem: After being abandon by her friend, her self-esteem seem to be lacking. She felt like she didn't belong anywhere in this game as she has no experience in video games besides the one she played with her friend.
