His mother Yamashita Kumiko (山下久美å) family derived from the TaiyÅ (太陽, Sun), during the Edo Period, they were also a family of Samurai that also served the Emperor, but they were Alchemists as well, she is a stay at home mother, who watches Yoshitoki, as he has no brothers or sisters. Yoshitoki was born a blonde, a rare trait among his family, only one in every 50 generations had this hair color in both his families, as such he was treated with much more care, and was loved by all of his family for his stunning hair color. He also has a genetical defect as well, Heterochromia, Shi has two eye colors blue for his left eye, and violet for his right. As his right eye was a concern for his father, never has any one in either family had a violet eye color, or even had two different eye colors. His father had Yoshitoki blood analyzied and was surprised that he was the father, not knowing how this happened, his son having these medical defects. He just accepted it and treated his only son with more care and paided more attention to him as a result, Yoshitoki was a happy boy, he was always smiling and having a grin on his face. As he grew older, he began to mature quite quicker than what his family thought, he began to speak much more formal like, he was calm headed and cool tempered, and he never seemd immature. As when he turned the age of 12, he was more mature than any of the other children in his families housing, and was looked as a adult much earlier on than expected. But his all changed, as when he turned 15, his father promised him he would take him and his mother out to have a vacation to Caribbean, as Yoshitoki was excited to go, as he heard alot about the Caribbean. On their way to the airport, their car was struck by a semi-truck carring Industrial Chemicals with it, and caused a huge car accident, Yoshitoki, came into contact with the chemicals and his DNA was affected. As Yoshitoki was taken to the nearest hospital, he was treated to an extent for his injuries, in the accident, he coming into contact with the chemicals, casued his skin to turn pale white. And the shock from the impact, and the chiemicals, caused his hair to turn snow white, as when he awoke from his coma, that lasted 5 years, he awoke to find that he was 20 years old. Calling the doctors, they came and told him everything, the crash, the chemicals, and of course both of his parents dying in the accident, the shocked of it all didn't affect him like it should have. As he awoke from a near death experiance, he came into a new world, a new Japan, a place were technology was more popular, and demanding. In his fathers will, it claimed that when he died, his son would gain a large fortune, and would claim a large portion of land as his own. Now having a large amount of money, and a piece of land, Yoshitoki built a home outside of Tokyo, along the borders of the city in the forest area, and he used a small portion of his savings to have the house custom built, and ready to use in the new world he awoke to. Having a whole year pass him in the blink of an "eye", he quickly adjusted to life here, even if he looked like a freak or anmie character, he quickly as he did adjust, he converted to being a tech freak. He is a tech savy monster, he has all the latest tech gear, and devices, as he also has mass amounts of Data on all new technologies being developed, his favorite was a new type of gaming technology called NerveGear, as he waited in line for hours on end to get the new gear when it was available for purchase. As well as a single game called Sword Art Online, he did some research on the game before he bought it and he fell in love with the whole fantasy style gaming without magic concept. As when he got home, he created his account and paided a month in advance, he placed it all together and then started his new life in SAO. «Filler» As Yoshitoki was born into a family that still somewhat went by the old ways, Yoshitoki was taught how to fight in many martial arts, he knows many. Many Japanese Martial Arts like, Aikido, Jittejutsu, Judo, Jujutsu, Karate, Kendo, Kenjutsu, KyÅ«dÅ (Can't use in SAO), Ninjutsu (Yes he was trained in this), TaidÅ, many other countries as well. Thailand, Krabi-krabong, Muay boran, and Muay Thai, as well as some Chinese Martial Arts, T'ai chi ch'uan. Yoshitoki was taught all these martial arts, as he to stick with tradition and learn them as his familt traveled alot in the past, he also learned that his ancestors were ninja, and assassins for the Emperor (Now you see why he was trained). As when he got older he found out hat his family had many connection to royalty, as during the Edo Period (1603-1868) his Great-great-Grandfather, on his fathers side of the family, actually served as the Emperors right hand General and lead many battles, and that his mothers Great-great-Grandfather was the head Alchemist and Doctor for the Emperor. Both families were somehow connected to the Emperor, but this was all interesting and such but Yoshitoki didn't really find all it to surprising and as such he just nodded and agreed to what they said. When Yoshitoki turned 15 of cource he got into the accident, that changed his skin and hair and was in a coma for 5 years, but what he didn't know was that the chemicals were the Japanese governmants testing projects and they didn't want a national crisis and such they treated him for the damage. And as they did, come to find out he had cancer as well, a tumor in his brain, that grew over his life, as he never knew, thankfully they got it before it grew too much for his brain to handle. And after he came out of his coma, he experienced the first true pain, as his skin, due to the chemicals, he could never truly be touched again. His skin was now sensitive to all types of flesh, but human skin is the worst. or more likely the oils in the pours, any type of human contact makes him break into a rash and he hurts to the point of tears, as now he can never truly be a human. His skin over time has adapted, but not enough to were he can touch other humans as well, but now he justs hermits alone anyway, he fears the touch of a person, and he tends to avoid it. His love of technology came when he went to a tech center to get appliances for his house, he loved how they operated and as such he began his journey into the tech savy world. He loved the computers the most, he became a huge gaming and computer freak and he is quite intellegent when it comes to them as well. «Voice» Yoshitoki's vocal pattern is similar to that of Raidens from the Metal Gear Saga, its deep hoarse and rugged at times, and can be quite sinister if he gets mad. Yoshitoki was always a person whos voice struck people with confusion as it would seem he was masking his voice, but in truth his voice is that of Raidens, and is similar in many ways, but Yoshitoki's tends to be more rugged and rigid when he speaks. «Personality» Before the accident, he was a happy bright young man who was always smiling and laughing, he would always talk to people, and be friendly with them, but after the accident and his near death experience. He now is closed off, he doen't talk to people that much if at all, he is quite colder and tends to say what is on his mind. He doesn't smile, he doesn't laugh, he had become almost emotionless, he doesn't even like to be touched, he now tends to be by himself and has developed a habit to talk to himself as well. As he is quite fond of solitude, he does however have a curious mind, and he will venture out and try to find new and exotic things. «Fighting Style» A very aggresive type of sword fighting, he uses his bodies momentum to move across the field, Yoshitoki uses his weapon in unusual ways. He will use the spine of the blade, the flat face, even the pummel, his fighting is always aggressive like and will always keep the opponent on the defensive. His style is similar to Hollow Ichigo's, from Bleach. «Appearnce» A tall lean muscular man, who has pale white skin and semi long length pure or snow white hair that reaches to his shoudlers. A left blue eye and a purple right eye, he wears a eye patch over his right eye, wears no shirt, has many chains and necklaces on, as he also wears a pair of leather armlets that stopped under his shoulder that house many straps and buckles. He wears a pair of black pants that has a unique leather belt and many more chains, as he has a pair of black leather boots, that have many straps and skull buckles as well. His skin has many scars on it from the accident, as you can see them if you look hard enough. He has underneath his left hand leather armlet, he has a tattoo on top of his hand, a very intriqic designed family tattoo he got when he was 20. And under his right hand leather armlet, he has another tattoo, this one of the TaiyÅ family, the other one was from the Sakura no hana family. He has both family crests and each are on separate hands. «Weaknesses» Reference: http://www.darkworldrpg.com/lore/flaws.html » Single Tracked mind: Yoshitoki tends to focus on one thing at a time, as such, he will ignore all other things around him until he has nothing left to do, the only way to get him to pay attention is to lightly tap him, or yell his nickname at him and he will turn his attention to the person speaking to him. » Blunt- Characterized by directness in manner or speech; without subtlety or evasion. Frank, callous, insensitive, brusque Yoshitoki is a person that will tell you something right off the bat. He doesn't beat around the bush nor does he like others doing the same thing, he likes to get straight to the point of things. » Callous- They are hardened to emotions, rarely showing any form of it in expression, unfeeling or cold. After the accident, Yoshitoki became closed, emotionless, almost doll like, he didn't laugh as much, nor did he smile at all, the only expression he gave was a blank nonchalant stare, even his eyes lost all emotion in them. He can come off as harsh or cold at times, as is calculation and is quite rude at times when analyzing situations. » Absentminded- Preoccupied to the extent of being unaware of one's immediate surroundings. Abstracted, daydreaming, inattentive, oblivious, forgetful. Being always by himself, Yoshitoki developed a habit to go into his thoughts and forget what is going on around him, he tends to talk to himself during this time, have sophisticated converations with people that aren't there. » Stubborn- Unreasonably, often perversely unyielding; bullheaded. Firmly resolved or determined; resolute. Yoshitoki is quite stubborn, he doesn't give up easliy, he never gives in with a conversation, and is always trying to have things go his way, his family said that he was the most stubborn person ever besides his great-great-great grandfather, who was worst than him. He takes this after his fatherm but his mother can be blamed as well. » Aimless- Devoid of direction or purpose, a times Yoshitoki, will wander, he won't know where he is ir where he is going from time to time, he will just roam freely and will not have any clue when he comes out what happened. Otaku girls who loved men with white hair, as this all thanks to the chemicals that he came in contact with, as well as his mothers femine looks, Yoshitoki is attractive, he has girlish appearnce, but can stioll be seen as a guy, since he wears no shirt and he is muscular, he looks like he was carved out of marble. » Confidence: a feeling or belief that you can do something well or succeed at something. Yoshitoki is confindent in everything he does, as he never had to have dought in his own abilities, he aways surpassed his reletives in traditions and was always praised on his work as he never felt like he couldn't do anything. So he became quite confident in his own abilities and skills and can now never feel like he can't do something. » Dignity: a way of appearing or behaving that suggests seriousness and self-control. Yoshitoki is a person who has control over his emotions, they don't cloud his judgement, or his thinking process, he never thinks twice about something unless he truly has to, he has manners that match his age, and is always too mature for his age. » Honor: respect that is given to someone who is admired. Yoshitoki has alot of honor, he followed his families traditons for all his life, he never once questioned or fell of the path he grew, as his family was that much to him, and he sees anyone who has alot of respect and dignity, he sees them having great honor and repects them as well. » Passionate: having, showing, or expressing strong emotions or beliefs. Even if he doesn't show emotion on his face, Yoshitoki has great passion in what he does, he loves to do blacksmithing, swords fighting, hand to hand combat, writting, reading, all these things he has great passion for, and he always puts his 110% in each task he does. As he gets great pleasure from doing the things he loves. » Curiocity: Yoshitoki has a very curious mind, if something peaks his interest he will investigate it until he finds the answer he wants. This tends to make him venture into crowed area, full of people as he will not be paying attention to them and will just be focused on one thing, his goal.
