             Nothing was going right. The moment the notice popped up, there was chaos as far as the eye could see. This time, Vigilon had little to worry about for floor five, seeing that a catastrophe such as this would surely have the attention of the enemies he had there turned to protecting the floor, rather than amassing territory within it. Vigilon had little choice but to look upwards, and last he remembered, both Krysta and Astralin were on the eleventh floor. He'd need to check and see if everything was right on their end. If whatever was happening had spread down as far as floor eleven, it would be disastrous if i wasn't stopped there. Many players were within the eleventh floor or lower, so time was of the essence. After having ran to it at top speed, Vigilon stepped onto the Teleport Plaza. "Teleport: Taft!"

 

                     Oh, wonderful. Mass Hysteria, the absolute best thing to have to navigate in the midst of a time sensitive crisis. Vigilon decided to see if he couldn't simply do a little climbing to avoid getting lost in the waves of the crowd. He hadn't needed to do something along the lines of rooftop parkour since the imperial incident on floor twenty six. Around twenty minutes later, he saw the roof of a place he knew well. "That's The Carefree Magpie, Shulko's place..." He thought aloud. He would make his way over and open the door. A number of people were taking shelter within, but there were also multiple familiar faces within. The first familiar face he saw appeared relieved to see Vigilon.

      "Red, where the hell have you been, buddy? The floor's descended into apocalyptic chaos, the cats and dogs might as well be living together already!" Shulko began. "All it took may have even been one slip from who knows where, and now the city's under urgent threat as the antmen are getting both undeniably weird and excessively aggressive, they're literally mobilizing towards the city and concerns are everywhere." He explained. "Both the floor's fighters and most players that were in Taft have been sent out to meet them, but I have my doubts all of them will be back safely. I need you to get anyone lost or injured back to safety, I've still got plenty of room for them right here, so I should be able to keep them protected here. I'll even offer them some refreshments on the house if it'll help." He asked.
                   Vigilon nodded. "Of course, I'll just need a healer or two to keep everyone alive." He noted. Shulko smirked. "Funny you would say that." He remarked. "There's two here already." He pointed out. "Princess, Starshine, can you help Red out over on the mission field for this? It's ok, I've got Sweetheart here still, she can heal while you two are out there in the action." He would say, to Krysta and Astralin.

                    Krysta had only been making preparations to confront this dreadful evil when the enemy arrived on the floor, leaving her to simply pick up and go, and as fate would have it, wading through the crowd would only bring her to The Carefree Magpie. Here, she would learn not only had the catastrophe indeed leaked into this floor, but the fact that most of the players currently within Taft had been pushed outside the safe zone, possibly against their will in some cases, in a desperate attempt to push back against a sudden, mobilized swarm of corrupted antmen advancing towards the city. She would spend a short time tending to any frightened or injured individual that entered the building, player and NPC alike. Astralin arrived and decided to help Krysta with the situation, putting her healing skills to use, lightening the load that was already upon both Krysta and Aurami.

         Twenty four minutes passed, and Vigilon would arrive on the scene. Shulko would address him, and explain to him the situation. Vigilon agreed to help, though he noted he would need assistance from one or two with healing capabilities. Shulko would request for Krysta and Astralin to assist Vigilon on his Search and Rescue mission. Krysta silently thanked God for this chance, for she had felt he intense desire to be involved in a more practical manner, to be out there saving and protecting the people where and when they needed her most. She got up from her position, and walked over to Vigilon. "I am already set. Ready to depart when you are." She stated.

        Shulko would reveal a few other details. "Freewind's leading a party taking the fight to the antmen, Wise Guy's out there gathering Intel, Dual-Wing's got her hands full making defensive siege weapons. I'd say we've all got our hands full over here. Any help we get at all would be amazing. Maybe with some more out there on the field, there can be fewer chances of casualties." He revealed. "Understood," Krysta replied. "We shan't let you down."

                     She just wanted to pay her friends and new guildmates a visit. Was there really anything wrong with that? Did everything have to go wrong so quickly?

           The moment the quest notification popped up in front of her, practically jumping her out of nowhere, everything hat started descending into chaos...and the moment that really tipped things over the edge was when something broke into the Eleventh Floor, and began spreading some kind of infectious blight within the antman swarms. Before Astralin knew it, she was here in The Carefree Magpie, helping Aurami and Krysta tend to any who were still wounded when entering. This would continue until Vigilon walked into the place, and Shulko got an idea. He asked Vigilon to go on a search and rescue mission, due to the fact that apparently most of the players in Taft were sent outside the safe zone against their will in a desperate attempt to keep the corrupted swarms at bay. Vigilon agreed, though he noted that he'd need healers. Krysta and Astralin both stood up, and Shulko seemed to have the same idea as he noticed them stand up in offer to help. He asked if the two could help Vigilon, and Krysta stated that she was ready.

                  Shulko would reveal more about the situation, then someone else would enter the establishment. Someone who Krysta seemed to recognize. "How I wish I had come here for more pleasant purposes..." He remarked. Some others seemed to enter with him. "I am here to help, on behalf of the Knights of Vousten." He revealed. Shulko blinked. "Whazzat? 'Fowsten'?" He asked, looking a bit confused, yet also amused, due to his smirk-like smile. "Vousten," The player repeated. "We are here to defend the city proper in case there is a breach, and I also have one of my guild's members here, I'd provided him with a number of Corridor Crystals, which should be able to help. I did not eavesdrop, of course, I was simply messaged by said member about the situation and that there are those in need of rescuing." He explained. "Furthermore, I have some supplies I am willing to give to a rescue team, along with the Crystals. May I ask who they may be?" He asked.

              A green haired player got up from his seat, and pointed to Vigilon. "He's the one Shulko's sending," He then pointed to the two healers with both hands. "And those are the healers going along with him." He revealed. The Vousten Representative looked to Vigilon. "I...see...So, you're Vigilon, then?" He asked. "I am Alanin, I believe we may be meeting each other more frequently in the future. Ah, but for now, I do have supplies for the two healers going with you." He would walk over to Krysta, handing her stacks of potions, while the green haired player would walk over to Astralin, handing her stacks of Corridor Crystals. "Here's your share of the crystals. I've taken the liberty of assigning their teleport locations here, as to make proper use of this fairly sizeable shelter, should make the rescue much easier." He explained to her. Astralin smiled, though it seems she'd never caught this player's name the whole time he was here. "Thanks a lot, sirrrrrr..." The player nodded. "Arlus, my username is Arlus. Good luck out there, missssss..." Astralin couldn't help but laugh at Arlus's attempt to make light of this lack of username introductions. "Astralin, I'm Astralin." She said between chuckles.

                Alanin must have overheard the exchange, due to the choice of words he would have when the two Vousten players swapped healers for giving their resources. "These are your half of the potions I'm offering, Astralin. They shall assist in your healing efforts when skills alone are not enough." He explained. "And here, some Crystals too, in case there is an emergency that calls for them." He added as he handed her a few stacks of Crystals. "Thanks, Alanin, I'm sure we'll succeed at this rate, at least for getting everyone to safety." Astralin said. Now all that was left was to receive the word from Vigilon, and set out.
