Eruda 0 Posted July 26 #1 Share Posted July 26 Today was the day that Eruda was going to make the house more appealing to the eye, well try anyway. She had never been great at filling a house. She did have experience in blending colors together to made them look good together so that was where she was going to start. There was a few more empty rooms up stairs, one of them would be a library or rather a reading area, book place. She was unsure what to call it, she did know that she wanted a place to put books. She had written her version of Romeo and Juliet, this was only the beginning. She had done a bit of shopping earlier, in the hallway there was two comfy chairs and two half sized book shelves. One shelf was for Raidou's poetry when he had time to write and the other was for books that Eruda would create in time. There was also a desk further down the hall. Right now she was standing in this room that would become the book area. Plastic lays across the entire floor, with painting materials laid out. She really didn't know much about painting but how hard could it be. A couple shades of brown paint buckets sit, waiting to become useful. She was wearing something comfortable, a simple t-shirt with knee high socks. Raidou wasn't supposed to be back to later tonight, she had the house to herself. Raserei was even gone, with her father. It had been a bit sense the familiars had see each other so she asked if he could watch her for a bit. Setting down a crystal on the small shelf in the hallway, next to it was a wine bottle with a glass suited for the liquid. The crystal was from Sam of all people, something that she wanted Eruda to listen to, told her that it had a catchy beat to it so she obliged to the gift. Tapping on the crystal it starts to play, she opens one of the paint bucket and takes a brush. She felt wetness on her face, it probably splashed on her face, great start... <<Assist System Engaged>> Level: 34 Paragon: 68 Tier: 4 True Tier: 11 Final EXP reward: +0% GUILD RANK 5 (+5% col, +5% EXP) Eruda | HP: 1000/1000 | EN: 112/112 | DMG: 8 | MIT:184 | TAUNT | F-SPIRIT | BRN-IM | FL.AURA: 16 | FL.THORNS: 8/16 | THORNS:72 | BH:55 | REC: 8 | BRN: 56 | LD:4 Spoiler Eruda, Unbridalled Fury True Tier: 11 Level: 34 Paragon Level: 68 HP: 1000/1000 EN: 112/112 Stats: Damage: 8 Mitigation: 184 Battle Healing: 55 Loot Die: 4 Stealth Rating: -5 TAUNT BRN-IM FL.AURA: 16 FL.THORNS: 8/16 REC: 8 BRN: 56 Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Consuming Pyre - Surt T4: (Burn 2, Taunt) Armor/Trinket: - Reinforced Plate - Lily T4 Demonic: Flame Aura 2, Flameproof, Recovery 1 Shield/Armor/Trinket: - Stalwart Defender T4 Demonic: Thorns 2, Recovery 1, Flame Thorns 1 Combat Mastery: - Combat Mastery: Mitigation R3 Combat Shift: - AOE Shift Familiar Skill: - Custom Skill: - Supernatural Fury Skills: - Battle Healing R5 - Curved Sword R5 - Fighting Spirit - Heavy Armor R5 - Howl - Searching R4 Extra Skills: - Concentration - Survival - Block R5 Inactive Extra Skills: Addons: - Focus - Iron Skin - Stamina Mods: - Night Vision - Shield Bash - Tracking Inactive Mods: Battle Ready Inventory: - Anthem of Finality - Destruction x1 - Anthem of Finality - Destruction x3 - Anthem of Finality - Destruction x5 - Anthem of Finality - Destruction x5 - Teleport Crystal x2 Housing Buffs: - Dining Hall: Turn 3 identical food items (same quality, tier, & enhancements) into a Feast. Raidou 1 Posted August 1 #2 Share Posted August 1 The gentle tapping of his boots as he starts to walk through daily errands. The streets of Urbus were alive with activity, as a number of familiar NPCs would occasionally pay him a smile or a wave. Raidou held no issue in reciprocating it back, finding their further increasing lifelike natures to be becoming far more real. They started to remember him, and almost look forward to his visits these days. Down the rabbit hole into one of the many buildings, a darker and grubbier looking tavern mixed with all the most delightful crooks and thieves of aincrad. Without much of a word, the man moves past the orange and green markers with a presence that left for little outbursts or ideas. Parting the pair of players at the counter, he'd look to a familiar barkeeper. That keepers expression would sharply dive into a taste of shock, for the last time he'd seen Raidou was months if not years ago. A single slip of paper set upon the bars top like a playing card from his sleeve, tapping it twice and the keeper responds by placing a cup on top of it. "Scotch, on the rocks." Raidou remarks bluntly, easily falling in line with the others drinking themselves sideways in the early morning. The wanderer takes it down slowly, as thin pulses of light dance on his perceptions. His mini map ablaze lingers and allows him to take account of the exact number of patrons inside. Watching carefully them all, the little blue markers slightly churning and waiting for one to pick itself up and rush away. But they all remain, which meant that none recognized him at least enough well enough to run off and deliver news. Eventually the nomad finishes, and the barkeeper slides both the cup and the slip of paper into his hand. Dropping a rag over them both. Raidou offers him the cover he needs with a simple turn of phrase. "Keep them coming, got a big day ahead of me." Tapping out and tossing a small bag of col onto the counter with his prorate inside it. "Got more in the back, gimme a minute." He grumbles wandering away, and Raidou pegs the bottle of scotch readily at his disposal three shelves up on the far left. Their business was still being kept faithfully. good. Two minutes roll past and the guy returns, placing down a new cup with a quick wipe of the counter, using a new slip of paper as the coaster. The ill omen cradles it with both hands, using the drooping nature of his robe to offer further obscurity. A quick flick sees the note disappear into his palm, as he raises the glass to his lips and finishes it off quickly, but not in a chug to avoid arousing suspicions. Standing from the stool, the man adjusts his robe and then presses the glasses up the bridge of his nose. Wandering out of the bar, he'd keep detection on full blast as he walks around the building to its alleyway. No abrupt movement confirms he wasn't being followed. A lift of his hand to his neck casts a roaring flash of blue light and within an instant he was gone. His destination? Right into a small little chamber in an unknown location, adorned with bookshelves and a large black slate like a chalkboard but like polished ebony. Everything under a sheet of dust, having not seen interaction or usage for quite some time. In his hand he slides out the parchment from his palm, unfolding it and reading what he'd bought. Cataloged to memory, he reaches into his pocket and taps the cerberus etching and sets it on fire to destroy the record. His feet carry him to the bookshelf, blowing gently off the layer of dust to read the titles on their spines. A twist of his hand with his finger like a hook, he tilts and slides one out into his right hand. Toward the desk in the rooms center, he moves the chair back and takes a seat. Unfolding the aged pages, he'd grab a quill and begin to write feverishly onto the blank white canvas. <<Assist System Engaged>> Level: 34 Paragon: 68 Tier: 4 True Tier: 17 Final EXP reward: +5% Final EXP Guild Rank 5 Bonus: +5% Final EXP Active: CS: Ill Omen in Red CSA: [x1] Grand Mass Parry Raidou | HP: 940/940 | EN: 132/132 | DMG: 11 | MIT:117 | ACC:2 | TAUNT | F-SPIRIT | EVA:4 | BH:52 | VAMP-D: 103 | VAMP-O: 155 | REC: 8 | BLI: 32/-20 | LD:6 Spoiler Name: Raidou, The Red Wanderer True Tier: 17 Level: 34 Paragon Level: 68 HP: 940/940 EN: 132/132 Stats: Damage: 11 Mitigation: 117 Accuracy: 2 Evasion: 4 Battle Healing: 52 Loot Die: 6 TAUNT VAMP-D: 103 VAMP-O: 155 REC: 8 BLI: 32/-20 Equipped Gear: Weapon/Armor/Trinket: - Ebon Star - Vanguard Revenant [T4/Demonic/Straight Sword]: V.O 2, Taunt, Blight 1 Armor/Trinket: - Red Wanderer's Resolve - Sympathy [T1/Demonic/Cloth] 2 Evasion, 2 Vampiric Defensive Shield/Armor/Trinket: - Vision of Wisdom - Whisper [T4/Demonic/Trinket] Evasion 1, Recovery 2, Accuracy 1 Combat Mastery: - Combat Mastery: Mitigation R3 Combat Shift: - TECH Shift Familiar Skill: - Custom Skill: - Ill Omen in Red Skills: - Battle Healing R5 - Charge - Cloth Armor R5 - Energist - Fighting Spirit - Howl - Quick Change - Searching R5 - Straight Sword R5 Extra Skills: - Survival - Parry - Forgotten King's Authority - Concentration - - - Inactive Extra Skills: PhotosynthesizeBrawlerFrozen Hide Addons: - Ferocity - Focused Howl - Nimble - Precision - Reveal - Stamina Mods: - Athletics - Detect - Justified Riposte - Tracking - Vengeful Riposte Inactive Mods: Battle Ready Inventory: - Crippling Composition - Lullaby [Tierless/Rare/Debuff/Instant] Hypnosis 2 | [224055] x1 - Teleport Crystal x1 - Vocal Augmentation - Resonation [Tierless/Perfect/Support/Instant] +15% HP [160898][161641][161642][162018][162529] x Housing Buffs: - Basic Kitchen: Increase the effectiveness of a single food item consumed in a thread by +1 T1 slot. Eruda 0 Posted August 8 Author #3 Share Posted August 8 It's been hours, she was covered in splashes of different shade of brown. The bottle of wine was about half gone and the song had repeated about ten times over. Taking a deep breath, sitting in the middle of the room looking at the paint job that she had done. After a few shade checks she went with a lighting brown with a darker brown a few inches up from the floor. To her it looked even, but that wasn't saying much because she was half a bottle in. Closing her eyes tight for a moment, she opens them as her vision become a bit more clearer. Glancing around the room again it did actually look even, good. The ceiling was also painting the lighter brown. The color wasn't to light so that it blinded you but just enough to feel relaxed enough to write in. That was what she was going for. She would start to get up, a bit with a struggle but would manage. Testing the walls to see if they were dry, they were, good. She would begin to move the plastic off the carpet. It was a dark grey color, she thought it would look decent. Setting the plastic to the corner of the room, she would move the furniture back into the room one by one. The paint buckets had sense been removed, she wouldn't be needed them again. On one wall would sit two comfy black chairs with an in table sitting between them. The desk sat on the opposite wall, leaving the two half bookshelves pushed together directing under the one window in the room. On the desk there would be a small light that would turn on with a tap of the base. When on it would light the entire desk so that writing was possible. It also had a collection of blank parchment and books that had covers she made with her own two hands. The lighting above was dim but bright enough to see or read under. It also had a motion detection built within it. If you walked in it would turn on by itself and if you walked out it would turn off. She thought it was a nice touch. Walking into her clothing room, she was feeling the wine a bit but not enough to where she couldn't walk without help. Tell her to walk a straight line though, forget it. Grabbing the few books that she had and the quill and ink jar, she walks back to the library. Setting the writing tool on the desk in a neat fashion before setting the books of four on the proper shelves. She thought it looked pretty good in here, it was a surprise for Rai. With a smile she would sit on one of the chairs. There was a roller chair for the desk in the other room but she would grab that later. Opening her HUD she would create a message to Rai the best she could: Quote I did a thing for you at hom, teke your time. I hop your day is going otay. Lov yu With the chime of her HUD it was sent. Hope it sounding okay, she was feeling fine but her brain was a bit fuzzy. She would stay seated in the chair, taking a water bottle out of her inventory, she would start to sip on that. Raidou 1 Posted August 9 #4 Share Posted August 9 Time ticked by in what felt like an endless silence. The small chamber glowed dimly with manufactured and artificial light, glowstones plugged into recesses in the walls. Every few minutes, the man would stand and fold up one book of many, returning it to the shelf on his left before claiming another. Scans of his map would create a wide popped out image of the world of aincrad, using his fingers as a guide to twist and zoom the 3d image slightly transparent as he'd recall elevation and the structures connecting the dots. A pen scratches away note after note, the man had a lot of catching up to do. A ping pulls his attention, causing his hand to stop moving. Raidou's body turns, using his other to flip his HUD open and tap the obvious received message in all its lit up glory. Eyes slide across the written word, deciphering the lack of english that it were without much turbulence. A smile finds his face, and with it he'd check the time. 5 hours, 37 minutes, and 14 seconds. Leaning forward returning his writing utensil to a bottle, he'd slide the book toward his lap as his screen slams shut. Onto the bookshelf the entry is slid among many others just as plain as it. To the desk the man pushes in the chair and with a snap of his fingers the lights all flash out, like a cool breeze on many a candle. To his neck he reaches for the necklace, and a flicker of blue bends his existence in a sudden jerk to another point on the floating castle. In the thoroughfare of Aradennia, in a district where most didn't even walk in anymore. The glow of lighting oozing out of a myriad of window panes in a gentle warm color. Up the stairs after lifting a latch on the wrought iron gate, which creeks as it swings both out and back. Across a yard that was as large as it was untamed, finding the wild nature of it to be more inviting despite it being unkempt. Reaching for the paired press latch handles, one door of two swings inward. Raidou is instantly greeted with music that loomed within it like a inviting ambiance, a classical tune that left little in the way of tension. Across the white marble floors toward furniture that didn't quite match its regality nor gaudy taste. Off comes his robe as it seeks a peg on a standing coat rack, to its side his boots find a shelf. The sword on his back is unbuckled from the strap slid across his chest and slid into a wooden cylinder like an umbrella, still in its sheath with the bandolier drooping and used as a handle. Toward the chest of drawers right before the foot of the right most case of stairs that mirrored its other in a pair. Drawers open as he'd offer some of his tools into it for safe keeping, the things from his pockets in an organized space to retrieve later. The players were just beginning to branch out from the main walkway, finding the home to be far too big to even begin populating it fully, nor unnecessary to attempt to do so. Just a few decently used rooms was all it took, the rest could remain dormant and empty. Raidou would walk to the foot of the stairs, reaching for the banister and sliding his hand as he'd ascend up to the second level with his feet planted on the dark blue carpet that cascaded down each one. On the upper floor, he'd listen for movement, guessing to where his wife would be. The light tone of a different song would draw his attention and offer him a guide. Down one of the 5 wings in the shape of a corridor of doors, the one on the left first reached from the wrapped awning. Following the music as it grew louder, he'd find a pair of chestnut colored double doors. One slightly cracked to allow light to pour through. His hand briskly but gently slides it open to reveal a freshly furnished and painted study. Eruda sat upon one of two chairs pulling away at a water bottle covered in brown paints. Not quite what the man was expecting, Raidou would offer her a greeting. "Good afternoon, I'm home." Speaking concisely yet carefully as to not startle the hell out of her. Eruda 0 Posted August 9 Author #5 Share Posted August 9 'MMM" she says pulling the bottle from her mouth. "I didn't mean to interrupt what you were doing, I sorta expect at least a few more hours." Finally looking at the man with a soft breath and a smile. She didn't even have time to clean up or make food. "I uh..." looking around the room trying to gather her words in to something that would make some resemblance of sense. She was sorta afraid to get up as well, knowing that the wine has not yet left her system. Setting the bottle on the small table between the chairs. Clearing her throat she would look around the room again. "I wanted to surprise you. I know that we talked about creating a book room or library but then I realized that I didn't know when your birthday was so I wanted to..." Taking a deep breath, she was rambling, nervous. Still after all this time she was nervous. Getting up from her seat with a small wobble, she had to sober herself. Walking to the man, she wraps her arms around his neck. The paint on her shirt was very much dry but at this moment she was sorta unaware of what she was wearing, given the state of her head space right now. Taking a deep breath, "Hello and sorry, I think I drank a little to much. I hope you like it..." Giving him kiss, lightly pulling away so that she didn't fall back, she would sit back on the chair with her legs under her. Pulling out some stuff from her inventory, she knew that if she was drinking that walking down the stairs was not going to be a great idea. A canteen of hot water and green tea leaves were placed on the side table. "While I get myself a little less this, I want to hear about your day, come sit" as she pulls out a couple of tea eggs with two tea cups. The small container of sugar was for her, Rai drank it plain. Starting to fumble with the contraption in her hands she prepare the tea. Pouring the hot liquid in both cups after snapping the eggs shut with three leafs in each. Setting them in the cups, she would let them soak. Looking back up to her soon to be husband with a smile and a chuckle, "Stop staring and get over here..." It was obvious what she was doing up to this point in the day. "Don't think I having noticed you rushing out the door the last few days. Eating faster, with small affection kisses. After the other day I thought it would be more, idk..." She couldn't think of the word to put into place of the phrase.
Raidou 1 Posted August 9 #6 Share Posted August 9 Raidou would sweep the room with a closer inspection, running his hand across polished surfaces in their near mundane yet elegant simplicity. The room felt much more homely then most of the manor, a lot less over the top and excessive. Walking up to every fixture and paying it its own invested bout of interest. "Looks good, paint looks dry. You must have been at this for a while." The man offered in an acknowledgement of all her efforts. "Thank you." Raidou would release her concerns with such a simple appreciation, sliding toward another chair at her side. Paying her a quick tap of a kiss on her forehead before taking a seat of his own. Offering her a stable hand to help her through her wobbled attempts at brewing tea, clicking both droppers shut and placing each in the paired cups. "It is a new experience, I know its hard to glean what expectations might be. Relax Eruda, if we let such things color our perspectives and push us to make leaps we are not ready we will regret it. We are closer then I ever thought possible, yet you'll find I am a man of routine. Nothing to be concerned about." Reaching over and dusting a single bit of flaked paint shavings from her arm, before claiming the teacup all his own and beginning to stir. There was quite a bit of truth to Raidou's statement, given that he had considered exactly how to change or treat Eruda differently. But his best interpretation of his thoughts and sorting of his feelings made him believe that it was best to let the infatuation or actions taken on prior days not directly sway his choices or actions. Persist as they were and let the flower bloom naturally instead of artificially out of some sense of duty. Those thoughts pause as he raises the tea cup to his lips, breathing against the billowing stream to cool it down just a bit. A little fog on the lenses over his eyes, he'd return the statement from prior with a defusal "If dinner has to be made, I am willing to get started. Sure you are quite tired..." Eyes scanning the room with a wave of a hand, as a show of evidence. As well as the thin notes of the alcohol on her breath despite the distance between them.
Eruda 0 Posted August 9 Author #7 Share Posted August 9 Watching him walk the room, she would smile. It felt good knowing that she could actually do something that made even a small difference. This was all still new, even though they had been living her together for a little over a month it was still hard to get a grasp on the concept. So much has happened in that last month too. Fond memories that she would cherish and still growing every day. "Yea i started right after you left this morning" she really was not aware of what time it was. Glancing at the clock it was rounding 3pm. "I know, i just feel like a sitting duck sometimes. When you leave in the morning, its always random what I do. My days are never the same, not sure if that is a good or bad thing." Her cheeks fluster at the help and the kiss but she still smiles. It took her a moment to realize it happened. "Maybe I can start helping the towns folk, with not sure what but there has to be something that they need right? They still kinda don't like me much." The thought was clear, she was already starting to get her head straight. There was still some weird glances and staring, sometimes even glares. She knew that she had to try harder but she wasn't sure how. Picking up her cup, stirring in some sugar as she would let her mind relax for a moment. Her hubby was right, she always over thought things. Sometimes to the extreme of frantic measures that drove her up a wall. He was so calm and collected, didn't even look like he struggled with insanity. Looking at him as his glasses began to fog up, she would give a small giggle and sip her own tea. "I was thinking of a few thing to make but nothing I came up with seemed good enough. I also didn't look in the cook book either, was a little busy" looking back at the new created room. It really did look decent, turned out better than she thought. Glancing back her blue reflecting off his frames to meet those majestic ember eyes. Twist her head slightly with a grin, "You can get it started while I get cleaned up, only because it comes rather natural to you like all things do. I do have one question though" She turns in her seat, one leg still folded beneath her her while the other holds close to her chest. "When is your birthday? I promise I won't tell no one." Sipping her tea before placing it back down. She starts to sway a little, her lips tuck into each other in excitement waiting to here if he would confess.
Raidou 1 Posted August 9 #8 Share Posted August 9 "That can change, maybe I'll start bringing you along." Raidou offered in regards to her going stir crazy without even an inch of regret, and a lot of faith. It was exceedingly rare for anyone to even follow along for more then an hour or two let alone a whole ass day with the wanderer. The man assumed that this quiet home life was her desire, but if she wanted something more then all she needed to do was ask. The wanderer spent every day knocking off the same magnitudes of business, albeit with light shading depending on circumstance. A busy bee as it were. The light tap of the cup as he'd stir, enjoying the base simplicity of the moment and the quiet of the mid afternoon with little pressures. Finishing of the cup the man would stand, straightening his pant legs with the tap of an open hand. The man would pause to the off hand question. Getting ready to go get dinner started could wait for just a couple more moments. "September 24th." Raidou pays her question with an honest answer, one that he'd never imagined anyone ever asking him. "Take your time getting your head on straight, then get cleaned up." The wanderer heads for the door and wanders out and down the hall, into the mainstay and rounding the corner into the kitchen. Opening the fridge to check the contents, taking a mental inventory of everything inside like a list of ingredients. Reaching high, he'd claim the recipe book from a cabinet shelf. Flicking it open, he'd begin to scan the pages one after another in a mathematical comparison of the contents of each recipe to find a match. Eventually he sets his sights on something he could cook with what they had on tap. To a cutting board is all manner of vegetables and a hefty sized porker. With meticulous hands the swordsman starts to chop and add slices to a pan. The sizzle would begin to fill the kitchen with all manner of caramelized scents.
Eruda 0 Posted August 9 Author #9 Share Posted August 9 "I would like that very much" said with a simple smile. She was running out of things to do here and if she was being honest she felt a bit bored and lonely. Maybe that was the reason why she was ordering so much bread from the Ryllae. She was the one elf in this town that she actually got along with. Hopefully that would change soon. He would finish his cup, she would do the same and hand the cup to him. It seemed that the question caught him off guard, it wasn't that far away. Hmm, thought he could just pass it off as another day like all the years previous, he's got another thing coming. A grin showed on her face as idea's started to stir in her head. "I will be down soon" saying as he walks out. Turning in her seat letting her legs fall against the front of the chair, sinking down with her head back. The tea had helped, she was feeling a bit better. "Okay" saying as she slowly gets up to make sure the world around her wasn't going to spin. She was safe for now. Putting the cork back on the bottle of wine before walking to the bathroom. Running the water, she looks to the mirror. "Relax..." saying as she stares at her reflection "Stop thinking, its just dinner..." taking a deep long breath. Walking down the steps in a light pink mini dress. The smell of caramelized veggies filled her senses, she was excited to try it. Each meal he cooked was better than the last. It was the only thing that she wasn't getting better at quickly. Instead of hovering she would go to the piano, sitting at the bench after raising the lid. She would start to play, and it was much better than the first time. The day that he starting teaching her. She had so much time on her hands. It was quiet but noticeable, "I learned to play better, to skate better and even actually stop the right way. Learned to paint, its why I think learning what you do would be fun." Thinking about everything that she had done on her spare time, "Oh and I continued the training that you were showing me the other day. There is a dummy out in the back yard..." She thought that having a target would help and it did. "I'm grasping things faster, well beside cooking and the other thing..." Dropping the sentence clearing her throat softly. It had only been done a hand full of times and as he said before, everything was new and fresh. "If you could learn or be better at one thing what would it be?" Playing softly at the keys for background noise while she allowed Rai to finish dinner. It was smelling better by the second.
Raidou 1 Posted August 10 #10 Share Posted August 10 Raidou would continue to add things to the pan, stirring lightly with a wooden spoon bringing everything to a broil. After a few minutes he can peg the girl wandering down the stairs, having changed clothes to accent an occasion. A questionable choice to be certain, but perhaps she just didn't want to wear the paint laden attire any further, so the nomad wouldn't read into it too deeply. Another sprinkle of salt as to what the recipe called, down to the exact grain. The soft thrumming of keys has the man listen in, finding that she'd developed quite a bit since his lesson. Her response confirms his suspicions that she was embracing all the little hobbies he'd offered her, or she'd personally requested. "If I could become better at any one thing?" Raidou reciprocated the question to internalize it for thought, turning a dial to kill the heat and moving the pan to a cooled burner. Reaching up to claim a pair of plates, opening the cupboard to retrieve them and setting them on the countertop. "I'd have to say, understanding people." The man commented with a deep introspection, as he'd slide out a drawer. Claiming with a pinch cutlery and moving to plate the food, an exact portion to each. Carrying both with his hands cupped to allow the silverware to linger beneath the platters. The truth was there was still nuance when it came to emotions that he still had difficulty grasping, but the man was more then able to realize that weakness and compensate for it. If he couldn't understand what they felt, he could at least understand that they could have felt something. It was why his responses were so curated and crafted deliberately to dance around such a potentially damaging blow to the heart.
Eruda 0 Posted August 11 Author #11 Share Posted August 11 Hearing the glass plates be set on the marble counter top, as she listened to him repeat the question in thought. This makes her chuckle a bit, she actually got him to think about something. That in itself was rare just because he always seems to know what to say at the exact moment something was spoken. She would stop playing and turn watching him portion out the plates before answering the question that was asked. "Well it's simple, look for the tells." Getting up from the bench, she would help bring the plates to the table. "I started to understand what you were feeling through your poetry. I could feel your pain and happiness from the words that you formed together." A pause as they both sit after grabbing a drink that fit the meal. "Everyone is different but for the most part their tells are the same." She would scoot her chair a bit closer to his while still allowing him room to move around if he had to. Taking the first bite, she just shakes her head with a soft laugh under her breath. "You never fail to amaze me." Glancing to the meal, there was 5 different veggies with the perfect mix of sweet and salty flavoring to it. "Okay take me for instance. When my cheeks redden, I usually feel either nervous or embarrassed. It depends on what is going on in that specific moment right. A rise of a single brow, usually means I'm either confused or curious and eager to know more." Eyes meet his, she smile and reaches over to take his frames off his face. Folding them, she places them in the middle of the table. "You were or still are a highly respected broker, I'm sure that you could tell when someone was lying to you. Those tiny hints of how they reacted to you telling them something. You on the other hand don't have that many tells." Combing her slightly damp hair backwards. Trying to gauge what he was thinking, there was no expression change. "You stopped speaking in rhymes, that was your tell, those words that you spoke, I could feel it right here" saying as she taps against her heart with an index finger. He kept that same blank face, she just chuckles squinting her nose up and shakes her head a little. "That blank expression of yours makes you so hard to read. Like how do I even know you really liked the room, that you weren't just saying what you did so I felt good about it hmm. Not a smile or emotion just that cute observation thing you do when your paying attention to details." Eruda was trying hard to keep a straight face but couldn't and a small laugh escapes from her lips. "I know you don't lie, but anyone else may not see it that way." Taking another bite of the meal, licking the sauce off her bottom lip as she watched him carefully. "When I came down those stairs, your eyes were on me and I legit almost lost my footing. I felt noticed, human emotions are weird..." Taking a small sip of the drink that was provided. "I guess what I am trying to say is when talking to someone, watch for those tiny expression changes and focus on what is being said. It usually works" Setting a hand on his leg under the table with a small squeeze. Eyes turn up to meet his embers. The thing about Rai was he really didn't have any tells, and it drove her absolutely insane. "To be honest I think I get so nervous around you because you are such a mystery. All your careful movements, glances toward me, small touches and small kisses. I have no clue what you are thinking at any point in time unless you speak. Even then most times it's not clear." Truth in the words she spoke as she could see her blue eyes reflect off his. A soft breath, a bit uneven. Smiling she would get up, her dish was cleared. Stepping behind him, hands on his shoulders as she leans down to his ear, "It drives me crazy" saying in a whisper as her lips softly touch his neck right below his ear. Light kisses down, closing her eyes. Face moves back to his ear, "I would like to think that you know this tell well" another quiet voice as her hand traces under his shirt to his chest. "I could be wrong though" saying, giving him a kiss on the cheek. A slow deep breath as she removes her hand, reaching for her plate pressing herself lightly against him. Smiling she starts walking to the kitchen.
