Nari-Lanreth 0 Posted 10 hours ago #1 Share Posted 10 hours ago Nature's Treasures: Little Eden Performing, smithing, cooking, foraging…I’m just collecting them as they come now. Nari rolled over on her side, glancing over the quest chain once more. She’d considered taking the route of alchemist or artisan for a while, although she knew that the quests that provided a means of living were easy, popular, and got her back into the rhythm of completing the various quests and activities available. She’d shied away from them though, knowing that there would be a better use of her skills for the time being, if she focused on alternating her equipment. Nemo’s Garden? Haven’t you attended that a lot in the past? I feel like we went there once, long ago…’ Onora seemed to drift off into some dazed remembrance of a time long gone. Nari shifted on the couch, moving from the laid down position she was in, into a seated one. ’Yeah, it’s a popular hunting and grinding spot. For finding items and materials…and col, too, I guess.’ Nari had brought up the desire to attend the garden once more earlier in the day, considering her options for outstanding quests and objectives. She had a lot of options – especially now – and although she wasn’t entirely sure what she wanted to do, she knew that there were a number of renovations, equipment enhancements and other changes she needed to make to keep up with the ever evolving world. ’Fine, but I’ve got a busy day ahead running a bakery. So you’ll have to go on without me.’ Onora sighed as she stood and brushed herself off, the sounds of cookware echoing from the kitchen as she disappeared within. Nari had already taken her shift in the storefront, presenting and providing services for those who made their way into the shop; those few that there were now. ’Just be careful out there, yeah?’ Nari gave an absent nod, double checking her now decrepit network of information, looking for some detail as to where Nemo would likely be at this time of day. It took a few minutes of scrolling through various random tidbits of half useful information before she came across something. ’Alright…Floor ten. I’m likely going to be gone for a bit. I’ll be home for dinner though!’ She gave Onora a hug on the way out, before heading towards the teleporter. The streets of Ylvon were quiet at this time, and although Nari knew she’d have a bit of trek towards Ronbaru and the floor’s teleporter pad, she took it with a skip and a smile. Mio dogged along at her feet, the ever present kitsune more than content to follow her, the nine tails flowing behind it in an almost regal fashion. ’I wonder if Nemo will be happy to see us again, Mio? You know, after the whole event last time and all…’ She winced at the thought, choosing instead to focus on the walk as she remembered the destruction she’d caused – mostly accidentally. She hoped it would be a distant memory, at best, or one that he had gotten over already. Reytac 0 Posted 9 hours ago #2 Share Posted 9 hours ago The silence around him was pervasive, almost deafening in the way that only unending silence could be. Appropriately, the only time that Reytac had ever heard this before was when he was going on a cave tour with his family when he was young. But unlike then, right now the leather-clad brunette was by himself. Only the sound of his footsteps broke the deathly silence, and even that sound felt like it was painfully out of place, like the sound was an intrusion that broke the silence of a graveyard. And considering the faintly glowing blue figures that were drifting through the darkened city streets, calling this a 'graveyard' felt appropriate. "Why, Rey, why did you come to the spooky ghost floor? Why because it's a spooky ghost floor! Just because I love horror games." Reytac's muttering under his breath sounded obnoxiously loud to his own ears, and he had to shake his head. But despite that, none of the figures that were around him seemed to care at all that he had spoken, drifting along their ancient tasks. He hummed in thought and followed after one of them, until he came up to a market stall that looked like it had antique weapons on display. Curious, he picked one of them up and held it up -it almost looked like a kusari-gama, but before he could take a good look at it, the object fell apart into a shower of dusty pixels. How pixels looked like they had been aged, he wasn't sure, but these ones had managed it. Wandering through the stalls on the street, he tried picking up a few others, but each time was met with the same result. Eventually he made it to the city gates, leading out into the massive cavern that made up this floor - and he stopped, staring up in awe at the gate guard. It was massive, towering over him, gleaming white that seemed to glow from inside the pearly bones. One ponderous head swung around, and a pit where an eye had once been focused down at him for a moment, before the head shook about and turned back towards the cavern, resuming its watch. Enormous, fleshless wings flapped, bone clacking against bone. His mouth dropped open and he exhaled softly. "Even undead, dragons are cool."
