Freya 0 Posted 3 hours ago #1 Share Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Rubbing her eyes leaning against a tree further away from where the meteor hit. She was far enough away not to fall into the very large whole with Gaius but not far enough from the massive white light that came with the stormy demise. Rain was just pour down on them, it was something that looked rather unearthly which was ironic because they were not even in there home planet in mind at least. After her vision returned she would go to the edge of the deep hole and glance down at her hubby that looked absolutely wrecked. Cloths torn, from what she could see his chest was moving pretty fast. If she was being honest with herself, he kinda looked sexy. Taking a deep breath to calm whatever feeling where being had at the moment she would give him a thumbs up back as she waiting for him to climb up. Grabbing his hand to help him the rest of the way. Most of all she was glad he was okay, when she saw him get hit she got a bit scared and angry at the same time. Gaius did keep the bear off her though so that she could work on the health, but at what cost? How far would he be willing to go just so that she never got hit. If he was going to take the brunt of the damage then she had to figure out how to do more damage so that what ever they faced would be dead faster. This was the only way to low the threat. Locking an arm around his, she would pull out a honey bun as a snack for both him and her. They were going to be super hungry after this. "This next question in chain is on floor 10. It is said in Rai's notes that the skill fallen has no effect on this creature." They would both arrive in town, stepping on the warp gate to transfer to floor 10. "There is a constant spawn of minions with this joker but it is said that they are weak and easy to handle." Their HUD will chime with the quest update. "Not this water but the river that we will be walking around is very acidic. Do not look right into it or touch it, there are claims that you will hallucinate." They would walk out of the caves that they arrived in and into a small town. It seemed kinda light with people, this was most likely not a place to people liked going on the downtime of their day. They still had a couple hours till it threatened to get dark so they would have to get there rather quickly. "We have a lot of ground to cover before we get there" saying she held his bare arm with a smile. She could feel the warmth on her cheek, it was nice. All she was wearing was a blue jean skort and a navy forest green tank top. Gaius was so hot blooded so the warmth that came from him felt great. Gaius 0 Posted 3 hours ago #2 Share Posted 3 hours ago "Right..." The man offered stoically as if he was following Freya's train of thought about all the little details regarding this quest, but the truth was he hadn't even bothered to look at it before. Gaius wasn't exactly leaping at the possibility to do quests in general, more of just going through the motions and showing up when someone asked him to. Following along as she'd take point, leading them ever along this wild giant goose chase and where it would lead? Good old batshit floor 10, where everything sucked. Getting out of the house was nice and all, but the burlap boiled leather ass that this environment smelled like wasn't exactly an inviting one. The man plugs his nose as his eyes begin to water, a still bare sleeve revealing his arm pit as it dangled off his shoulder in tatters. "Got it, don't take a bath in the funky smelling acid river." Not that the man had considered that either, keeping to becoming Freya's shadow here. Mainly because otherwise he'd end up turned around given he didn't know a whole hell of a lot what each step was. Clearly the blonde knew where she was going, which was good because he didn't. Going through the rings, and making her happy was the only goal. A noble one. Freya 0 Posted 3 hours ago Author #3 Share Posted 3 hours ago (edited) They walk into the cave, the last one was fine and all but this smelled like something that came straight out of hell. Clearing her throat, she felt like she was gonna hurl. They only thing keeping her from not doing so is that she didn't want Gaius to see her like that. "Maybe Eruda can get that fixed for you" right after she saws this she holder her breath. Do she even need to breath in the game? This was the perfect opportunity to test that theory. It smells like rotten eggs poured into a week old warn sock tossed into a can full of rotten food. This would most likely be the one quest of this line that they would teleport out just so they didn't need to suffer. For something not actually being real it sure smelt like ass. Glancing to Gaius as they walked through the cave, he still had his nose clenched with his had. He wasn't saying a whole lot but it was okay. There was a massive shit ton of things that they both needed to think about. Sometimes it was hard to read him, other times it was impossible. She would continue moving on, seeing the work together. It wasn't just the fact that Gaius wanted to do everything in his power to protect her. It was also that she wanted to do everything in her own power to make sure he didn't take much rebuke while protecting her. She really didn't know what she would do if he wound up dead in a ditch somewhere because of her. Finally coming upon a stream that was splashing down some jaded rocks, "There it is" she would say as they would both hear screeching and hissed echoing of the walls of this deep dark acidic looking place. "Let get this over with and get the hell out of here" saying as she would pull her Scythe out getting ready for whatever was about to come around the corner. Gaius 0 Posted 3 hours ago #4 Share Posted 3 hours ago The cave left even more to be desired, as a pungent stink permeated the air and left Gaius with a scratch in his throat. "God this sucks..." Gaius barks to an echo down its length, his own voice coming back as if in agreement. The dribbling pools of red trickled off cracks in the walls, as the entire thing looked wet all the way down. The rattle of bones as they slowly rolled from every nook and cranny, seeking each other out as they'd slowly form up into more solid shapes. The dragoon pivots and spins his spear, docking it behind his right shoulder underneath his arm. A flash of white begins to glow from him. "We aren't... alone." He chokes out, removing his hand reluctantly from his nose. Even though he'd much rather keep it there. All the while skeletons begin to take ragged and slapped together bodies, hovering limply in the air like ghosts. But clearly they avoided Gaius's light, alluding to the man an ounce of fear.
