Requirements: Accept this request, and respond to this flier with a link to your thread if you intend to participate in the mechanics and potentially earn col through gambling. The date on the first post you roll to gamble must be before your post with the link in this request. Choose any of the following: (Route 1) Roleplay being present in the Casino, and gambling narratively with no mechanics (3 post minimum per participant) (Route 2) Roleplay being present in the Casino (3 post minimum per participant) (Route 3) Actively gamble using the outlined mechanics, potentially losing or earning col upon thread closure. Summary: It is rather strange receiving news of a brand new casino opening up within Lhasri, from word of mouth alone. The allure of perhaps a good time, some festivities in a city with such a rich culture already. Driven to pay it a visit, you travel to floor 15 to see what all the rumors are about and will find an almost exorbitantly lavish building a bit too large compared to those around it on the southern side on a crag all its own. The place only seems open at night, in a city that never sleeps. Neon lights spring to life and outline marquee signs, as sounds begin to play to increase the temptation and excitement. Spotlights trace themselves in beams through the air, threatening to overshadow the stars above. A stark sign sits illuminated amongst the black in all its excessive splendor, the letters being drawn one at a time in sequence before flashing and going dark: Spit and Sin Entering the structure will find players noses racked with the scent of tobacco and alcohol, a staple of Lhasri as well as a hint of exotic spice. Waitress and waiters, some of them players while others NPC wander pass in matching uniform black colored leather vests or bolero, sporting silver platters and bow tie. Offering greetings and smiles and free drinks as they pass and encouraging to play the games. Red velvet carpet and a dim red district lighting eludes to something a bit more proactive and sinful. Clicks of slot machines and the ringing of bells, people yelling and clapping around crap tables. It is as though Las Vegas had come to Aincrad. A stage on the far back sits empty, ready to operate as a venue for those interested but the pickings are slim for those ready to perform. For those who have an itch to scratch they will notice a sign labeled Sin above a set of stairs just opposite the entryway on the far wall past all the tables and games. If brave enough, players can choose to descend into the lounge where not only darker dealings but many concealed booths with draw curtains hide away from watchful eyes. Girls and boys alike adorn the stage, wrapped around platinum poles and dancing suggestively to upbeat house music. NPCs: <<Simmoné>> The proprietor the establishment, a extremely wealthy player who graces the inaccessible upper balconies seeming to overlook her handiwork. It would seem unless she wishes to come down, there is zero chance you'd even get a word with her. Note: joining a thread for this request with this player character assumes they are this NPC and replace it. <<Oscar>> The man doesn't always appear every night, but when he does he shows up with a heavy entourage and brings with him a party. Larger then life, the man sits upon a throne of wealth and gold that seems impossible to reach or converse with if he does not will it. Clearly he had a hand in funding this and enjoys his cut.
