He watched as he saw her go after the monster and defeat it. He felt back on his butt and stared around and was searching for something. But his eyes landed on her as he wiped the blood from his eyes to focus better." Good hit." He congratulated her. He wasn't tired but a but flustered at the look of his eyes. It seemed they were crimson still.. The effect not wearing off seemed slightly odd to him. The elder dragons scales were identical in color and he figured that this was an after effect of what happened.

A slight sigh was heard as he continued to survey the area for a chest of sorts for them to go open. He spotted nothing of the sort and he sighed rubbing his eye. This wasn't so much as a tragedy at first ....but he would miss his eyes. A slight moan would escape his lips." Damn it.." He said before falling backwards." Wasn't expecting that nor did I think that was even possible." The only bright side to that was he didn't need his glasses anymore.

Lessa finally stood up straight. Slowly lifting her claymore over her head, she slid it back into its sheath. Then she turned back to look at Kiluia. The man was sitting in the grass now, still looking quite disoriented. In a few strides, she was by his side. She stooped down next to him, and placed one hand gently on his shoulder.

"No," she whispered, shaking her head, "I've never heard of this." She frowned. His words of congratulations should have raised her spirits, but she was too concerned about his well-being to pay them any mind.

As he fell backwards in the grass, her small frame emitted a sigh of worry. "Come on," she told him gently, like a mother addressing her child. She slipped her arm under his, and tugged gently, a gesture for him to climb to his feet. "Let's head home."

It was nice.. that warmth that she emitted. A light nod was given as she helped him up. He wasn't in any pain or suffering from anything really. It was similarly to just a pinch really. He took her hand and spoke softly." Yeah.. Let's get outta here. " He started walking with her." Glad you're here with me. " He would chuckle a bit and spun around to walk backwards looking at her." When we get back..let's look for a quest to do together okay?" He would tilt his head and wait for an answer. He was interested on seeing how far the duo would advance. Perhaps as far as the end. That would be nice as he remained optimistic about it.

A warm smile crossed her lips, and Lessa gave a small nod. "That sounds great," she replied, genuinely looking forward to continuing her training with Kiluia. She walked up beside him, and slowly turned him back around with a gentle touch of her palm. Then, she wrapped her arm around the younger man in a gesture of friendship. They walked like that back to the city.
