Raidou 1 Posted September 20, 2014 #1 Report Share Posted September 20, 2014 Raidou takes the raging fires of floor 9 head on, making his first strides in the pit of hades. Watching the heat dance around the room, Raidou gets his blade raised getting better by the day. Raidou scouts for a beast of fire keen on getting a feel for the floor. His blade droops to the side, tearing into the floor surface below leaving a bit of orange light in its wake. Raidou's sights set on a large outcropping of heated stone. making his way over to the stones they spring to life, forming on their own into a four legged molten lizard. Raidou scoffs at the beast and looks into its gaping maw, "Bring it beast, Lets see exactly what your made of!" With Raidou's remark the monster tears across the field in fervor tearing up the ground beneath it with fractured orange underfoot proving the volatility of the floor. Combat Initiate! Raidou 1 Posted September 20, 2014 Author #2 Report Share Posted September 20, 2014 Clad in white, Raidou quickly raises his blade up to eye level to prepare to combat the serpent. The monsters jaw opens wide as it moves from a raised position to bite down on Raidou. Getting slammed hard, the beast skips from the parry. Beginning a rotation, Raidou shouts out "Grand Mass Parry!" as he quickly twirls and the blade connects to the monster on its right side. The creature may be stone, but not steel and is sent flying with ease under Raidou's blade skipping with the inertia with an audible for 4 crashing sounds and grinding to a halt. Raidou quickly rotates his blade and moves for the kill before the monster can recover. Mid roll over, Raidou easily knocks it back onto its back. Watching up at its aggressor the beast screeches in protest being unable to stand. Raidou responds by raising his weapon as it glows green with the events about to transpire. Raidou drags his weapon downward with force. A large thud and crack can be heard, as the monster shrieks with its glowing underbelly. The ground gives way and Raidou is forced to jump back as the monster is submerged in the liquified stone glowing orange. For a moment there is a stillness, before the monster bursts free from the surface of magma tossing it into the air. Raidou turns quickly and the magma slides from his garb, putting up harsher conditions then this. The beast lands with a crash, and its fangs are presented with a demonic grin. Having just a moment to react, Raidou draws his blade upward expecting the next attack. Moving across the field in haste toward Raidou in a charge, the monster screeches as its legs skitter along the ground. Thud Thud Thud, Moments from Raidou he begins his parry rotation. Raidou 1 Posted September 20, 2014 Author #6 Report Share Posted September 20, 2014 Spinning quickly, Raidou collides with the Lizard in charge with his weapon slamming against its head. Raidou gracefully parries, snapping a couple of teeth from the monster but it remains on its feet. Thworted in its charge, Raidou glares at the rock monster as it squeals. Drawing his weapon up again, the monster isn't about to let up and neither is Raidou. Writhing in a slight agony, obviously simulated pain the monster lifts its tail and turns its body to the side. "The A.I. must be trying to overthrow my weapon with its weight!" Raidou thinks to himself while deepening his stance after stepping back a couple of steps. The monsters frame moves away like a tide retreating before a tsunami. Parry Successful!
