His last hit was a failure, as such he didn't like the odds of this, as the Mimic was fooling around with him, as it fiddled with its arm and was wide open. This gave Moartea the chance to attack as he saw fit, as he rushed at the beast yet again, he wanted it dead. More than anything in the world, as he got close, he swung his heavy Turkish sword at the Mimic he saw it immediately pull its arm up and was going to black him with its sword, the shield gone as he didn't care where it went so long as it was gone.

Edit: His attack missed as his blade was blocked by the Mimics sword, and it grabbed him and screamed in his face, making him head butt it away and he made it stagger away, ~Trying to frighten me are we, tis futile, that won't work.~ He thought to himself and saw the Mimic suddenly upon him and was about to strike him, he jumped back and saw it fall in front of him and he sighed as this was getting ridiculous. As he kicked it away, he felt it grab his leg and he tried to kick it away, hitting the skull of the beast, tyring to make it let go, as he saw it trying to go for a but. ~Not this one as well, do all these Skeletons hunger for the flesh of man?!~ He thought as he saw it going to bite him.

-Skeleton Mimics Turn-

skeleton_warrior.jpg

The human, was far to slow for the Skeleton for the few chances it gave him, and even on the ground, it fought, as it went after the humans legs, trying to bite them. As the Mimic kept getting kicked in the face to do anything, it grabbed the humans foot and stopped it as it went for the bit move hoping the at least do something to him.

Edit: A successful bite is what the Mimic was given as its teeth sliced through the flesh and it crunched down, the human yelped in pain, as it didn't let go of him, even as it was being hit, the Mimic would not let go of him. Seeing the blade of the human coming down almost was a painful setting.

As Moartea was bitten he yelled in pain, as the thing was crazy, trying to make a meal out of him, he took the pummel of his Kilij and was smacking the Mimic in the head, as he was trying to have it let go of him. As finally he had enough, he took his blade and went for a jaw dislocation move as he swung his blade at the jaw of the Skeleton Mimic.

Edit: His attack landed perfectly, as the tip interlocked into the socket and he pulled upward, making the bone crack and snap. As finally it shattered under the pressure, and the jaw of the Mimic went fling away and burst into a million little blue pixels. Moartea then kicked the Mimic back and slashed at the beasts chest and caused a more pronounce amount of damage and made it fall down again, as he pinned it, this time slicing off the arms, as he gave a evil grin to the beast. As pulled his blade up into the air, "Now your time here shall end, be wary, you put up a excellent struggle, but you under estimated me, now perish!" He said as he was ready to kill it now.

The last attack was a success to Moartea as he had removed its jaw, and pinned it, as well as removed all its limbs. This was a rather amusing fight, one he will not forget, but as all things were, he was going to end it. As he brought his blade up and was about to strike it, he glanced back at his foe, and gave a smile, to him, then brought the blade down at it.

Edit: Now his blade missed and it hit the ground next to the Mimics head, as he rubbed his head and pulled the blade back up, as he sighed at his failure. Yet again he brought the blade up and held it above his head and looked at the Mimic, still trying to squirm  free, but was all pointless.

With another attack failed, Moartea was almost impressed the Mimic survived this long against him, as karma seemed to be against Moartea today. With his sword above his head again, and about to cleave it, he wondered what would happen if he missed, would the beast detach its head to go for a launch attack? That would be an interesting event if it did, but now was his chance to attack and end this, as he brought the Kilij down and watched it come towards the skull.

Edit: A loud snap was heard as the sword cleaved a large chunk of the skull off, leaving a gnarly black hole in the left tempera area, as he them saw the head actually detach and started to roll away. He looked down and saw the body disappear, and dashed after the head, now he was starting to get the feeling of premonition, as almost he could predict the monsters next move. As he would suggest it would try to attack or continue to flee, as he ran in circles after the skull, swinging his sword at it.

Moartea's last attack was a powerful one at that, as he made to Mimic revert to a literal head, and was chasing the rolling skull around and trying to hit it, as it kept going towards his feet. Without a jaw now, it couldn't bite him or fight back now, as its body disappeared and was left as this pitiful form, Moartea not caring that it was taking this long, he just didn't like it going between his feet. All he wanted was to kill it and be on his way, as he had an idea, he let the Mimic skull get close to his feet then he propped it up and was now kicking it on the side of his foot. Almost like soccer or hacky sack, as he then kicked the skull towards the wall and watched it come fling back at him, and he took a baseball batter swing at it.

Edit: The sound of the bone snapping, and coming apart as his blade cleaved into the remaining skull and he saw it burst into a million little blue pixels, as Moartea had finally won. He sighed and sheathed his Kilij, as he looked around him, and saw that he had three other Black Steel Ore deposits near him, and his luck had finally paid off. As he got up and walked tp the ore deposits and examined them, ~They look decent, well time to mine them.~  He thought to himself and pulled out the pickax and went for a loot attempt.

Moartea after a grueling battle found three ore deposits and went to work on them as he did to the one he found before, as he had his pickax handy with him. He looked at the correct spot to begin his mining, he brought his pickax up into the air above the spot he deemed worthy to hit and brought it down from the heavens his correct spot he deemed worthy to hit.

Edit: With a little gusto and elbow grease, he struck the ore deposit and a chunk slab fell off and he picked it up, and placed it into his inventory, as he looked at the same one again, and deemed it appropriate to try again, as he repeated his process again and brought his pickax up again.

After a successful loot, Moartea gained a slab of Black Steel Ore, and attempted to perform another loot from this same deposit, not knowing if he could, as he brings his pickax up and over his head, he looked around to be sure nothing was coming his way. And he brought the ax down and hoped for the best he gained something from it/.

Edit: But as all good things must come to an end, his attempt failed him, as his pickax made a rugged and bleak clink sound as it made an impact on the rock. Causing him to fall backward and slide abit, as he sighed and looked at the other two ore deposits and walked to them. And examined them like he did with the last one he did, seeing a area to hit he attempted to do so like before and go for a loot grab..

Moartea finding the second ore deposit, examined it for quite some time before going to town on it, as he brought his ax up and and over his head, checking over his should er again to find nothing creeping up behind him. As he returned his attention to the deposit again and he tried to break off another slab of Black Steel Ore, in order to completed his mission.

Edit: As his ax made the same clink sound as before, he stood his ground and looked at the deposit hoping he could get this right. As he looked over he sees nothing but has a feeling that the light of day may have been taken by the blanket of night. But he needed to focus as he re-tried his attempted again.

With his last two attempts failed on him, he was determined to get it right this time, as he had spent at least 3 solid minutes figuring out where to strike, as he found a suitable location and placed the tip of his ax on it. As he wasn't going for a strong hit, he actually was going to pry it off instead, as he began to pull on it, he heard something shifting and hoped it was the ore and not the ax head.

Edit: Finally, his effort was rewarded as the chunk fell off as he fell back, and landed on his behind, he looked at the ore piece and it was a rather large one this time. As he stood up, placed the mat in his inventory and patted off his clothes, he looked at the deposit again and attempted to try his same process again, but he found nothing good on this one and turned to the other deposit and he walked towards it.

With his last attempt a success, he was certain that he was on a good luck streak, as this time he didn't spend much time figuring out where to strike, as he knew where to hit, as he placed the tip of his ax on it, and went for a swing, he hoped that he got this one. Or he might suffer something that might hurt his pride, but now he brought his ax down and was heading for the ore deposit.

Edit: His ax slipping off and landing on his foot made Moartea grab it and hobble around on the other as he was hurting, he couldn't believe that he was careless enough to let a his grip slip like that. As he picked up his ax and looked at the deposit again, his foot still aching, as he found the correct area to try and loot again, as he was surprised nothing was coming at him, after all the noise he was making. But he didn't mind it, so he tried another loot attempt.

With yet another fail Moartea was losing his patient as his stamina bar was falling into the red zone and he sat down, placing his pickax next to him and pulled out a bread and a leather water bag, And went to eating his heart out, as he nommed down the bread in a matter of minutes, and he drank his water slower than his bread, but yet he pulled out another one, his gluttonous cardinal sin coming out as he was eating more than he needed. And as he pulled out his second bread and was half way through it, that's when he finished his water and he was full now, Moartea leaned back and rested, as he opened up his inventory and looked at hie items and saw his lance, but knew he couldn't equip it yet, not at least until he got stronger.

So he closed it and swiped to his stats and saw that he leveled up, most likely from that Mimic Skeleton, pesky beast yielded him a large sum of EXP, and he thanked it for that, but still he wouldn't face one alone again. So as he fiddled around with his stats, he finally figured out most options and commands in the menu, as he could turn his default clothing to invisible mode, and yet still have it equipped. But he saw no point in that option, unless one was trying to pretend they were some Bruce Lee impersonator, as well as how to set his info to private so know one could see it, much time had passed when Moartea realized what time it was and got up and picked his ax up and looked at the ore deposit once again. As he brought his hand up once again this time hoping to gain something so he cold head home, and finish them mission.

After a much needed rest, Moartea decided to try one last time to gain his material for his mission, all he wanted was his Black Steel Ore Slab so her could go home and lounge around his room back at the Inn. He examined the ore deposit and then he brought his pickax up and over his head and attempted to make for a loot grab. If this was successful he would [censored] the mat and make a mad dash for the town.

Edit: His prediction coming true as he saw the slab fly up, as on reflex quickly grabbed the mat and quickly ran out of the room, his mat now in his inventory, and the pickax as well there. He rushed down the main tunnel and found the entrance, as he rushed out of it and found that he was right, night was here and he looked around for anything that may show signs of enemies near him. As he found nothing he quickly began to job his way back to the town.

As Moartea jogged his way back to the town, he didn't care for the night, nor did he like to be in it, as he knew wolves were nocturnal beasts and this was their time to hunt. As he kept his senses on high alert, he didn't want anything jumping out at him and making his day or rather night and longer. For he was was now walking for about 10 minutes and everything was seeming to look like he would get home safety, he although knowing this kept his guard up. Having his hand on the pummel of his Kilij, and always twitching it towards the handle as he saw the slightest movement, only to barely see a rabbit here and there. As when he finally got back to the gate after 15 minutes of agonizing painful time he went to the NPC that told him to go to the cavern, which he never told him what was withing the cavern, to see a sign up with directions.

-Sorry closed, if you need assistance go to the Tavern and they will help you-

Moartea sighed as he went to the Tavern after another 4 or so minutes of walking and opened the door to see a scruffy bar tender. Moartea walked up tot he counter and sat down, "Good sir i need assistance, mind directing me towards a store or place I can finish the Blacksmith profession?" He said as the NPC nodded, and gave spoke to him in a gruff and rugged voice, that was kinda similar to a Romanian accent.

-NPC-

"Aye lad, follow the path southward from the plaza fountain and you should find a shop that deals with metal and ores like you asking about."

Moartea bowed and turned as he exited the Tavern and walked down the street and saw the shop light, he walked to the door and opened it. As he saw a female NPC this time, and he was abit shocked to find this, as she placed her thick brown leather gloved down and turned to Moartea, she smiled and made him feel somewhat better.

With Moartea now greeted by this woman he sighed and walked towards the counter and listened to her as he saw her face, she was young, but as young as Moartea. He would judge she was about her late thirties, she was about 5'10. rather tall for a woman, she had long Hazelnut brown hair, and sliver like eyes. She had a sort of mean face, but that faded away when she gave him a smile, and leaned over the counter, as she laid her hammer down and looked at Moartea.

-Marisa-

"So kid what can I do ya for, the names Marisa, but everyone calls me Mari." "So you here to buy a weapon, or armor?"

Marisa asked him as he shook his head and spoke, "Tis not the reason I am here, I am here to learn the art of bending metal to my whim." "I heard from the Tavern up the road that you may be able to assist me." He says as she nods and whips her fingers up and made him follow her, as she led him to the back room and she spoke to him.

-Marisa-

"Okay to start off with, your attire, it won't due in here, your need something less flashy and stylish and go with a more work appeal over style." "Next your going to need to learn how to work the Anvil, now I don't stress this enough, don't strike the Anvil while you work." "Not only does it damage your work and equipment, but also the Anvil itself" "Okay, now hand me the materials you have and I can show you what to do."

Moartea handed her the materials after he materialized them, and she placed them in the smelter. Seeing how she pulled them out and sat them on the anvil, she took a hammer and began to pound the newly made ore ingot, and it changed into a standard dagger. She then held out her hand and he gave her the other three materials, and she gave him the hammer and tongs, as he had a leather apron on a pair of goggles, as he did what she did.

As Marisa gave him tips and quick helpful advice Moartea finished by the time the sun came up, and now as he exited her shop, with a new set of items, a apron, leather gloved, a pair of goggles, and a few hammers. He ventured into the plaza again, his body hurting as he trekked over to the Inn and walked into it. As the NPC tossed him his key, he walked to his room upstairs and opened the door, walking in and closing the door as he lacked it, he unequipped his clothes, all the way down to his boxers. And fell onto his bed, as he rolled over, and stared blankly at the ceiling, ~Finally, i do hope that this is all worth the trouble.~ He thought to himself and closed his eyes, slipping under the covers and pulling them up and over his head as he feel asleep, awaiting the day he would become a excellent Blacksmith and make a living off it.
